The Choice
“We have a long time till we’re needed at home, where should we go?” Junhee asked as she sat beside Chanhee on the bench. They were at the university, Junhee needed to get some things from her locker. She saw Sehun and Lay step out from the practice room, she waved at them.
“Let’s get something to eat.” He smiled at her and took her hand.
“Right, graduation’s almost nearing, did you made plans yet?” Chunji asked her.
“Not yet, I’m still waiting for Himchan oppa’s decision.” She grinned, Chunji nodded as they walked towards the car.
“Then, oppa, can we go to Myeongdong?”
“Shopping?”
“We don’t usually shop there, but I want to try. It can’t be Gangnam always right?”
Chunji chuckled.
“Too chaebol for you?”
“Totally.”
“Rows and rows of makeup stores.” Junhee mused as they walked around, she saw a lot of couples walking around while holding hands. She grinned to herself; Chunji was walking behind her, his hands in his pockets. He was also looking around curiously.
They were different from other couples, they don’t usually hold hands but they don’t really need to talk verbally. That was what’s special about them.
“You should eat, Hee. You didn’t eat anything for breakfast.”
Junhee made a face at him and entered a closing store instead. Chinji sighed and followed her, then he stopped.
“Of all places.” Junhee chuckled, Kai was with a young lady dress in a pair of jeans and a loose top.
“He’s dating, her? Or that type of dating?” Chunji mused, Junhee chuckled and turned away from the two.
“Take a picture for keepsakes, Hee.”
“Let him be, oppa. Maybe that girl will be the one for him. You’ll never know.”
The two were inside a posh little restaurant at Myeongdong. Junhee was reading the menu when suddenly Chunji pulled it down.
“Wae?”
Chunji smiled and caressed her cheek briefly.
“You’re getting sentimental because we’re on an average people date?” Junhee smiled lightly.
“Considering you’re Shinhwa’s heiress, I don’t think this is average.”
Junhee made a face and began to look at the menu again, but Chunji reached for something in his coat pocket.
“I..bought you something a few days ago.”
Junhee looked up, he placed a small cerulean coloured box on the table.
“Open it.” He smiled, Junhee took the box and opened it.
The box revealed a personalized Tiffany & Co. bracelet, there was a single charm on thin white gold chain, it was a small heart with a diamond in the middle.
“Oppa, I-”
Chunji smiled at her.
“It’s for...making up all the lost time, Hee. I love you.”
