The Choice
Hyemi felt uncomfortable as she looked at the mirror, she was wearing an Elie Saab dressed that fit her slender frame beautifully.
“That dress is perfect for you, Miss Shin.”
Hyemi stared back at her reflection.
Then she blinked.
What was she doing here?
What was Himchan doing?
She saw Himchan enter.
He stopped at the sight of her.
“Hyemi..you look...beautiful.”
She shook her head.
“Why are you doing this?” She asked, the two SAs silently stepped out.
Himchan put down the box he was holding and sighed.
“If you think doing this will-”
“No, it’s not what you think, that I’m sure of.” He said.
Hyemi looked at him.
“I don’t know how to do this.” He shook his head to himself.
“What?” She snapped. She was bothered, here she was dressed in a dress that cost six or seven figures and she had no idea why she was wearing it.
“I’m trying to..court you, Hyemi.”
She blanched and looked at him.
“Sun..bae, why..”
“Because, I like you .And this is the first time I’m doing this and I have no idea if I’m doing it right.”
Hyemi bit her lip, not knowing what to say.
“So just let me court you, Hyemi.” Himchan smiled at her.
She looked right back at him.
Then she smiled back.
“First appearance?” The man asked.
Junhee bit her lip.
“How about the party Daehan’s having in a few days?” He nodded.
“You heard?”
“Well, my mother heard. She suggested.”
Junhee’s brows furrowed.
“That would do.”
“We should get you a dress.”
“I can manage; I’ll meet you at the party.”
Junhee slung her purse around her shoulder and stepped out of the restaurant.
She was looking for her car keys, when she heard someone call her.
“Chunji..oppa.” She blinked.
“I came here to apologize.” Chunji smiled at her widely. Junhee exhaled, she had been pressured for the past few days because of dealing with that man from the inside.
“Will accompanying me to the mall accomplish that?” She asked. Chunji smiled and gently wrapped his arms around her.
“Anything.”
Junhee smiled and leaned on his chest. She let Chunji’s warmth comfort her as she remembered what she was about to do.
Chunji watched as she went around the rows and rows of dresses prepared for her.
“I don’t think tangerine suits me well.” Junhee muttered.
“Are you going to the party?” Chunji asked.
“I am.”
“With who?” He asked with a little edge in his voice.
“A...friend, oppa.” She beamed at him as she found a cream colored dress.
“I’ll try this on, will you wait for me?”
Chunji could only nod quietly.
