Minah looked up, then she blinked. Minho gently placed one hand on her amr and pulled her up firmly.

Insoo stood up at the same time.

“I’m sorry, but we were talking.” He said.

Minho ignored him as he turned to Minah.

“Na, how could you do this? We just had a little argument then you go on blind dates?” He said with a chiding tone.

Minah could hear all the gossip that would start right after Minho spoke.

“Uhm, Minho-ssi, you already have someone?” Hyera walked to them, with hard eyes.

“Like I told you, I was just forced.” Minho turned to her and wrapped one arm around Minah’s waist securely.

“Ya.” She said in a low tone, but Minho just tightened his grip around her.

“Minha-ssi, you didn’t tell me.” Insoo reddened.

“I didn’t get the chance to.” Minah said in her usual business-like tone.

“Then, we’ll be heading out first.”

As soon as they were out of the restaurant, Minah twisted away from his grip.

Minho bit back his smile.

“You should have sent me a warning.” Minah almost hissed.

“Admit it, you wanted to get away from there too.” Minho said.

Minah almost smiled and looked away from him.

“I don’t know what my mom will do to me.” She mumured.

Minho smiled, he was seeing anohter side of Kang Minah.

“Then, since we didn’t get to have lunch, let’s just go~”

“I’m fine with that, but it’s your treat.” Minah nodded.

Minhi chuckled and nodded.

“Blind date?” Kai murmured to his phone. He was inside their penthouse in Japan.

“Yeah, she just left earlier.” Suho replied, he was eating toegther with Sehun.

“With who?” Kai asked as he walked to his room to get some clothes.

“We don’t know that yet, hyung.  I’ll ask Meens when she gets back.” Sehun chuckled.

“Well I hope he doesn’t get a broken nose.” Kai replied.

“Hmm, I highly doubt that, Jongin.” Suho said.

“I used to eat this a lot when I was a kid.”  Minah said as she mixed her jjajangmyun.

Minho was sitting across her with an amused smile.

“I never expected you would want to eat in a place like this, Miss Kang.”

“There’s nothing wrong with this place.” Minah shrugged, briefly addressing the small Chinese restaurant they were in.

Minho smiled before started eating.

“But earlier, were you really forced to go on that date?” She asked.

“Yes, my mother insists on it.”

Minah smiled before wiping her lips.

“Glad that I’m not alone.” She nodded.

“I heard Kai left the country. Hyojeong mentioned it.” Minho said.

“He left for Japan a few days ago. Did Hyo say anything?”

“Well she did say they got in an argument of some sort.”

Minah sighed and nodded.

“About the project, Minho, I think it would be better if we go to Jeju by tomorrow.” She started.

“Why do you say so?”

“My team found a small defect on the blueprint. We need to speak with the contractor.” She nodded.

“Okay, I’ll check my schedule Na.” He grinned at her.

Minah rolled her eyes at him.
