The Only Light I See
Yuri came to her mother's office. Her mother said she wanted to meet her. Yuri opened the door of Mrs.Im's office room and found her mother was talking with a woman around 30 years old.
"umma.."
"oh, Yuri dear, come in.."
"what do you want to talk about, umma?"
"take a seat first, sweetheart.." Mrs.Im pointed the empty space beside the stranger on the sofa
"okay.." Yuri nodded, and sat beside the unknown woman
"Yuri.."
"yes, umma?"
"i want you to meet her.."
"and who is she, umma?"
"she's your sister, Kwon Boa. Your biological sister.."
Yuri's eyes grew wider, and her mind instantly blank. Did she hear it right? Or she was wrong? Biological sister? Was it a dream? Was she really had one?
"Yuri, you okay?"
"......"
"Yuri, dear.."
"uh, yeah, sorry.."
"i know it's too sudden, but i think you better know it.."
"yes, Yuri. I can't wit to finally see you and reunite.." the woman named Boa held Yuri's hand
But Yuri didn't respond, she didn't say anything. She could only look at the older girl in confusion. She was shocked, her brain couldn't work properly. She didn't know how to react.
"Yuri, can i hug you?" Boa asked hesitantly
Yuri glanced at her mother and the elder nodded to her "huh? Sure, you can.."
Boa encircled her hand to the younger girl, and tighten the hug for every second. Meanwhile, Yuri was hesitant to hug back, so she just let Boa hugged her without she hugging her back.
"can we meet again next time? I'll explain to you personally about you, me, and our parents.."
"i'll think it.." Yuri nodded, expressionless
Boa smiled, stood up and exited the room soon. She was happy she could finally showed up to her sister. Meanwhile, Yuri was still confused, processing what really just happened. Should she be happy or not? She didn't even know the answer.
"Yuri.."
"umma, is she really my sister? Didn't i have Yoona as my sister?" Yuri asked with a sad tone
"yes dear, i know it's hard for you to believe it. But she really is your sister.."
"i don't know what to do or say, umma.."
"it's okay dear, you can think it later. Just don't stress yourself out.."
"but umma, how do you know that she's my sister?"
"honestly, i already known it since so long. But i never dared to let her met you, because i was afraid that she would probably take you away from me. And i don't want it to happen, Yuri.." Mrs.Im explained
"umma.." was all she could say
"i'm sorry, Yuri. I'm sorry.."
"baby, you know what?" Yoona hugged her lover from behind
"what?"
"my father gave me a house, he said it's my birthday gift from him.." Yoona said, smiling
"really? A house?" Jessica turned around
"yes, baby. I'm so happy!!" Yoona smiled even more
Jessica smiled, looking at her girlfriend in excitement, "i'm happy to hear that, you finally get a house like what you wanted.."
Yoona only smiled in response. She planted kisses all over Jessica's face. She was too happy right now.
"so, when will we move to that house?" Jessica asked
"anytime you want, baby.."
"okay, what about this weekend? I'm free from Friday till Sunday.."
"alright, this weekend then.."
"i can't wait to show you the house, baby.." Yoona grinned
"so excited, huh?" Jessica giggled
"of course!!" Yoona smiled widely and Jessica laughed looking at her girlfriend's cuteness
Tiffany welcomed her girlfriend when the latter arrived at home. She gave the tanned girl a warm smile then kissed her cheeks. Yuri with a tired face, suddenly felt relax when she saw a smile from her sweet girlfriend.
"you look so tired.." Tiffany cupped Yuri's face
"i am.."
Yuri took Tiffany's hand from her face then placed it to her nape. She then wrapped her arms on Tiffany's slim waist and rested her forehead on the latter's shoulder. They stayed like that for awhile, enjoying each other's warmth.
"anything wrong, honey? You seem so quiet since you arrived, what happened?" Tiffany rubbed Yuri's nape gently
"i met my mother.." Yuri said, still burrying her face on Tiffany's shoulder
"then, what did she say?"
"she wanted me to meet my sister.."
"what happened to Yoona?"
"it's not Yoona.."
"then who?" Tiffany frowned in confusion
Yuri sighed, "Kwon Boa.."
"pardon?"
"Kwon Boa, my biological sister.." Yuri pulled her head off of Tiffany's shoulder
"y-your biological sister?" Tiffany frowned even more
"yes.." Yuri nodded weakly and Tiffany didn't know how to respond
"you can't believe it, right?" Yuri asked, sadness was visible in her face
"it's not like that, Yul.."
"it's okay, baby. I understand, because i, myself still couldn't believe it though.."
"Yuri.." Tiffany cupped Yuri's face as the latter pressed their forehead together
"i love you, Tiffany. Please don't ever leave me, i really need you right now.." Yuri said, eyes shutting
"i won't leave you, honey. I love you, and i'll always be here for you.."
"thank you, sugar.....thank you.."
"let's through this together, okay?" Tiffany smiled and Yuri nodded
