The Only Light I See
Yoona waited in front of Jessica's office building. She's been waiting around 15 minutes, sitting on her bike. When Jessica finally showed up, Yoona waved at her, smiling brightly. Meanwhile, Jessica was a bit confused to her girlfriend.
"you ride a bike?" Jessica asked confusedly
"yes.." Yoona smiled proudly
"i don't know you can ride a bike.."
"i learn it from Yuri unnie.." Yoona grinned
"and how do you get the bike? I don't know that you have one.."
"oh, it's not mine, i borrow it from Sooyoung unnie.."
"o-kay.." Jessica nodded eventually, and Yoona wore helmet then fix Jessica's helmet too
"let's go.." Yoona helped the older girl to hop on
"where are we going?"
"you'll know later.." with that, they began their journey
Jessica closed her eyes enjoying the wind, she hugged Yoona tightly since she rarely used bike. But it didn't mean she didn't trust her girlfriend. It was her new experience with her girlfriend, and she liked it.
The bike stopped, and Jessica opened her eyes. She looked around and realized that they were in Han River. She pulled off her helmet and Yoona did the same. They sat side by side, still on the bike. Feeling the breeze as they held each other hands.
"why are we here?" Jessica asked, looking at her girlfriend beside her
"because i like this place, i always come here whenever i need to freshen up my mind.." Yoona smiled unconsciously
"why never you tell me? Why never you bring me here?"
"it's the first time i come here again after we become a couple. And since that day i always feel happy and relax whenever you're around me. So, i think i don't need to be here anymore.."
"then, why are we here now?"
"i just think that you need to relax a bit, you're overwork yourself and i know how tired you are for these past few days. So, i think it'll make you feel better if i bring you here.."
"well, i think you're right. Because i do feel a lot better now.."
"really?" Yoona turned her head, facing the older girl
"yes, thank you so much, sweety.." Jessica kissed her girlfriend's lips
"anything for you, baby.." Yoona smiled between the kiss
"i like being here with you, can we come again next time?" Jessica rested her head on the younger girl's shoulder
"sure, baby. We can come anytime you want.."
Yoona found out a new thing. She liked Han River, and will always like it. Moreover, if she was there with her beloved girlfriend. Time could be perfect in perfect place with perfect girl, she sure was the happiest girl on earth.
Yuri drove her new car which she bought a week ago. And now, she's heading to her girlfriend's office. The routine that she did everyday, before she haven't got a car till she got one.
Yuri reached the place after 15 minutes driving. She waited in front of the building with her back leaned against the car door. Tiffany came out from the building with her friends, and a guy beside her caught Yuri's attention. Tiffany then bid goodbyes to them before she ran to her girlfriend.
"hey.." Tiffany smiled
"miss you.." Yuri smiled back and pecked the other girl's lips
"miss you too.." Tiffany showed her eyesmile and they got into car
"is that Changmin? The guy who stood beside you earlier?" Yuri asked before she started the engine
"uhm, yes he is.." Tiffany answered nervously
"he also works here?"
"actually he is.....my boss.." Tiffany bit her bottom lip
"what? You work for him? You're his secretary?"
"yes, but-"
"how can you not telling me this?" Yuri asked, feeling betrayed all of sudden
"i'm sorry, but believe me i wanted to.."
"if you planned to tell me, then why you never did???" Yuri raised her voice
"it's just, i'm confused how to tell you about this.."
"ridiculous! You've worked for months, and you never told me about this. Or maybe you'll never tell me if i didn't figure it out.." Yuri shook her head in disbelief then drove off soon
"Yuri, listen-"
"stop talking! I'm driving.." Yuri scolded, eyes on the road
Tiffany could only sigh, she knew it was her fault. And her girlfriend was mad at her because of her stupidity. She should've told her girlfriend about this long time ago, why she hid it?
The car filled with silence. Not even once, Yuri glanced at the other girl. The journey was like hell for Tiffany, Yuri was never like this before, she was never mad. It's the other side of Yuri that Tiffany barely knew.
Yuri just went straight to her room when they finally arrived. She didn't open the door for Tiffany like what she usually did. Tiffany followed afterwards. She wanted to make it clear.
"Yuri.."
"......"
"Yuri, please.."
"......"
"i'm sorry, i know i was wrong. I should've told you, i shouldn't keep it hidden. But, i couldn't find a way to tell you, and i thought it would be just fine because there's nothing between us.." Tiffany explained
Yuri sighed and turned around, "maybe it's fine if it's not him. But, look! He has a crush on you since college, he tried to get closer to you and you've known that!!"
"but i don't have feeling for him, and maybe his feeling towards me has changed. And i swear i love you, there's nothing between us.."
"i trust you, Tiff. It's just, i felt like i'd been forgotten when i knew you hid it from me. It's like i was invisible, and you didn't bother to tell me this. Never been in my life i lied to you, i never hid anything from you, i always told you everything. But why didn't you open up to me?" Yuri said, sadness was visible in her eyes
"i'm sorry, Yuri. I'm sorry.." Tiffany finally let her tears fall
Yuri sighed, she stepped closer and pulled Tiffany to her embrace. Tiffany cried even more against Yuri's chest, and Yuri tighten the hug. They stayed like that for awhile till both of them were a bit calm. Yuri knew she wouldn't able to stay mad at the other girl for a long time.
"i'm sorry.." Yuri finally spoke
"no, i'm sorry.." Tiffany broke the hug and looked deeply into the other girl's eyes
"sorry for shouting at you, i won't do that again.." Yuri said sincerely
"i deserve that. And please believe me, i promise there'll be nothing between me and him. I love you, Yul. Only you.."
"i love you too, Tiff. And i believe you.." Yuri smiled
"don't ever let him stealing me away from you.." Tiffany smiled back
"i won't, because i'd rather die if it happens.." Yuri smirked
Tiffany chuckled, and locked their lips again. The kiss became more passionate and they nearly went further if Brownie didn't bark, interrupting their moment.
"what we have here?" Yuri chuckled and bent down
"are you hungry, Brownie?" Tiffany took it to her arms, earning a bark from the cute little puppy
"you're so cute, let's get you something to eat.." Yuri rubbed its head and Brownie barked again, moving his tail cutely
"he's so excited.." Tiffany chuckled, and Yuri chuckled along
At least, they trust each other, even though things about Changmin hasn't had clear yet. For now, they wanna forget it for some moment and enjoyed their sweet time with Brownie.
