The Only Light I See
Yoona walked to her mother's office room. She was about to knock the door but she heard her mother's conversation with a woman talking about Yuri. So, Yoona decided to eavesdrop them.
"do you think Yuri will accept me as her sister?" this voice, Yoona didn't recognize it
"she will, Boa. Don't worry, she's a good girl, she'll accept you in the end. Just give her some more time to think.." it was Mrs.Im's voice, Yoona recognized it
"i know i'm the one to blame, but Yuri is the only family i have.." this time, Yoona was really confused with the conversation
"i know that, just wait a little more, okay?"
"thank you so much, Mrs.Im. I owe you a lot.."
"it's okay, Boa.."
Yoona was about to leave but someone exited the room, they had a short eyecontact before Mrs.Im's noticed Yoona's presence and called for her daughter to come in.
"who's that woman, umma?"
"uhm, she-"
"who's she? Why did you two mention Yuri unnie's name? And why she said Yuri unnie is her family?" Yoona frowned
Mrs.Im sighed, " she's Kwon Boa, Yuri's biological sister.."
Yoona grasped in surprise, her eyes widen due to shock. Yuri's biological sister? She never knew about this.
"Yuri unnie has another family?" Yoona asked carefully
"she's not another family, but she's the real family of Yuri. They relatively by blood.."
"why don't you tell me about it, umma?"
Silence.
"umma?"
"i'm sorry, Yoona.." was all she could say and Yoona left the room immadiately
A knock could be heard from Yuri's door. Tiffany walked to the door and opened it, revealing Yoona with angry look. Tiffany was confused, but Yoona ignored it, she walked passed the older girl then wandered the house, looking for Yuri.
"Yoong?" Yuri asked confusedly
"why never you tell me??" Yoona grabbed Yuri's colar
"easy, Yoong. Tell you what?"
"about Kwon Boa, your biological sister!!!" Yoona raised her voice and Yuri widen her eyes due to shock
"......"
"i have ther right to know about this!! You said there wouldn't be secret between us, because we're sisters. But now what???" Yoona shook Yuri's body
"......"
"answer me, Im Yuri!!!! Answer me!!!" Yoona lost her temper
"i-i'm sorry, Yoong. I, myself is still confuse about it.."
Yoona loosen her hold on Yuri's colar. She got soften then sat on the couch, face-palmed herself. On the other hand, Tiffany could only watch them, she wanted to approach her girlfriend and calmed her down, but she just couldn't, it was their personal problem as a family.
"i don't know what to do, i never expect that she would come and claimed herself as my sister. I never knew that i have a family other than you, umma, and appa. I lived happily with you all these time, and never been in my life thought about another sister.." Yuri said expressionless
"......"
"i'm sorry for not telling you this, Yoong.."
Silence.
"i'm sorry, unnie. I'm so sorry for shouting at you like that. I just....i'm afraid i'll probably loose you. I'm afraid you'll forget me because you have her as your real sister.." Yoona hung her head low
"Yoong, you'll never loose me. Never. I'll never ever leave you or even forget you. And scratch that, she's not my real sister. Maybe she's my biological sister, but for me, you're my real sister, Yoona.." Yuri cupped Yoona's face and Yoona hugged Yuri immadiately
"i'm sorry, unnie. I'm sorry.."
"it's okay, Yoong.."
"why don't you try to accept her, Yul?" Tiffany sat beside Yuri soon after Yoona left
"huh?"
"i'm talking about Boa.."
Yuri sighed, "i don't know, i wanna think about it but my brain doesn't work properly, too many things in my mind.."
"it's hard for you, i understand. But after all, she's still your sister, you can't treat her like that.."
"i know, Tiff. But, i used to live with Yoona as my sister not her. Then she came all of sudden, explaining what did really happen in the past. I need some more time to process it in my head.." Yuri face-palmed herself
"i understand, think it later okay? You think too hard, honey. You need to relax.." Tiffany massaged Yuri's shoulders and temple, Yuri nodded, enjoying her lover's touch
"thank you for understanding, sugar. I love you.."
"i love you too, honey.."
