The Only Light I See
"hello?" Yoona received a call from unknown number
"Im Yoona, i want you to come here in 10 minutes or else your Jessica will be in danger.."
"Jiyoung??"
"you're right.." Jiyoung put his phone to Jessica's ear
"Yoona-ah, i'm scared, please come.." Jessica sobbed hardly and Yoona became more panic
"you hear that? That's your precious girlfriend's voice. I'm not playing around, so you better come here quick.." Jiyoung smirked
"DON'T YOU DARE TO TOUCH HER AND HURT HER!!! OR ELSE I'LL KILL YOU, BASTARD!!!!" Yoona screamed through the phone
"let's see then.." Jiyoung laughed evilly, then hung up his phone
Yoona rushed to her car, then headed to the place that Jiyoung had sent the address to her phone. She was furious, panic, and scared. She wouldn't forgive herself if something bad happened to her girlfriend.
Yoona came in a short time, she drove really fast, ignoring the traffic jam in the street. What she only thought was Jessica's safety. She entered the old building immadiately, not thinking what would probably happen.
"well, well, well.....you finally come, Im Yoona.." Jiyoung stood in the middle of the room
"where's Jessica?" Yoona clenched her fists
"she's fine, you wanna see her?" Jiyoung smirked
He gave a sign to his bodyguards, they held Yoona's arms and dragged her to Jessica. Jessica sat on a chair, both of her hands were tied in the back. was gagged. She cried, and Yoona who saw it was crying as well. It hurts to see her girlfriend in this state. She should protect her.
"what do you want? Huh? JUST TELL ME WHAT THE YOU WANT!!!!" Yoona struggled but the bodyguards held her tighter and even punched her on the stomach
Yoona hissed in pain, Jiyoung walked towards her, lifted her chin up to face him and he laughed in victory.
"do you want to know what i want?" Jiyoung asked, but Yoona only looked at him in disgust
" well it's easy, Yoona. I just want you to drink it.."
"what is that?"
"it's a deadly poison, if you drink it you'll die in 5 hours.."
"you're crazy!!!"
"just choose, you drink it or she'll the one who drink it.." Jiyoung said, pointing at Jessica
Yoona couldn't believe what he just said. He tried to kill both of her and Jessica. Jiyoung stepped closer to Jessica, getting no response from Yoona, and he was about to drink the poison to her.
"stop!!! I'll drink it!!" Yoona said suddenly, and Jiyoung turned around, smirking
"good to hear that.."
"before that, i want you to let her go.."
"okay, deal.." with that, Jiyoung let go off Jessica and she ran to Yoona immadiately
Both of them hugged each other tightly, crying heavily. Never been in their life thought to live apart from each other. Jessica didn't want Yoona to die.
"don't.....don't do that, Yoong......don't drink the poison.." Jessica said against Yoona's chest
"i have to, Sica. I'm sorry.."
"then, let me drink it too....with you.."
"no, you have to stay alive and continue your life.."
"but-"
"okay, enough!!" Jiyoung yelled, one of his bodyguard grabbed Jessica's arms and separated them
"don't hurt her, please.." Yoona pleaded
"Yoona!!!" Jessica screamed as she was being dragged by the mascular man
"so, back to our business, Yoona. Here the poison, i want you to drink it in front of me.....now.." Jiyoung handed her the tiny bottle
Yoona took the bottle with a trembling hand. She glanced back at Jessica and mouthed 'i love you', then closed her eyes as she drank the poison till the bottle was empty.
Yoona felt numb, she dropped onto her knees, clutching her chest tight. Feeling a great pain on her chest. Her eyes getting blurry and she collapsed onto the cold floor.
"Yoona!!!" Jessica screamed, running to her girlfriend's side
"Yoona, please wake up!!"
Fortunately, not long enough Yuri came with cops. Yoona texted her the address when she was on the way to that place, and Yuri hurriedly reported this to the cops.
Yoona was carried to the ambulance, Jessica of course came along. Yuri was furious, no one could hurt her sister like that and even made her dying, fighting to be alive again. Yuri punched Jiyoung repeatedly, she also kicked him mercilessly. But the cops held Yuri before Jiyoung fell unconscious, then they proceeded to bring Jiyoung with them to the jail.
Mr and Mrs.Im came to the hospital soon after Yuri told them. Mr.Im slapped Yuri hardly on the cheek. And Yuri got a cut on her lips. He looked at her in fury eyes. Tiffany who saw it rushed to Yuri's side.
"you!! You said you would protect my daughter! But what? You lied!! Yoona is laying there!! Are you happy??" Mr.Im burst in anger
"appa.." Yuri almost cried, holding her cheek
"don't call me that!!!" Mr.Im slapped her again
"Mr.Im!!" Tiffany couldn't help but yelled at him
"hubby, stop it!! You're hurting her, she's also my daughter.." Mrs.Im rushed to her husband
"what??" Mr.Im asked in disbelief
"let's go, Yuri.." Tiffany pulled Yuri's hand, exiting the room and the hospital
Not long for both of them to reach their apartment. Tiffany treated Yuri's cut on the lips while remembering the incident earlier. She couldn't believe that Yuri's father could be that cruel to her girlfriend. She was still shocked about Mr.Im slapped her girlfriend in front of her face.
Yuri actually felt emabrassed. And Tiffany knew it by looking at her eyes. She knew her girlfriend needed her. So she chose to not saying anything but just gave her girlfriend a hug and a kiss to comfort her.
"it must be hard for you, i understand.." Tiffany cupped Yuri's face
"i love you.." Yuri hugged her lover, resting her head on the shorter girl's shoulder
They stayed like that for awhile till Yuri felt a little bit calm. She then faced her lover and kissed her on the lips gently and tenderly. Tiffany had never failed to calm her whenever she felt uneasy.
"i love you, Tiffany. I love you so much.."
"i love you too, Yuri.."
