The Only Light I See
Tiffany POV
I was walking to the canteen with my friends when suddenly i saw Yuri in a distant. I felt guilty towards her, bruises and cuts are visible in her lovely face. I've been so cruel to her, i've shouted and yelled at her, meanwhile she helped me and Taeyeon yesterday, gave me her math book few days ago, bought me pink stuffs that i honestly like all of it.
"is that Yuri? What happened to her face?" Sunny said, making me realize that we're just few steps away to her seat
"you all, go to your seat first, i have something to do.." Taeyeon walked to Yuri's seat, and we sat not far from them because of our curiousity
Taeyeon's back are facing us while talking with Yuri, but i could see Yuri's expression from here, even sometimes she galnced at me during the conversation.
"so, i'm sorry for what happened yesterday, Yuri. Me and Tiffany, shouldn't have left you there.." i heard Taeyon apologizing
"no, it's fine, really. Besides, i'm the one who commanded you to ran away.." Yuri smiled
"still, i feel guilty towards you. You helped us, but i-"
"i said it's fine, Tae. Don't feel guilty.." Yuri cut off, and Taeyeon sighed in defeat
"okay, what about you with your friends come to my place for dinner together with us?" Taeyeon said, pointing at us
"sounds good, i'd love to!!" Sooyoung said excitedly
"uhm..." Yuri rubbed her nap
"pleaseee.." Taeyeon pleaded
"okay if you say so, we'll come tonight.." Yuri smiled
"great! We'll be waiting.." with that, Taeyeon walked towards us and joined our conversation earlier
"so...Tae...will you tell us what happened to you, Tiffany, and Yuri?" Hyoyeon spoke up, and Taeyeon told her the whole story
"wow, she's so brave, you must've been the reason, Fany unnie.." Seohyun said before drinking her water
"yeah, right. Why don't you like her, Fany?" this time, Sunny asked
"uhm...i don't know...she's kinda annoying.." i shrugged
"she's a good person, if you know that.." Hyoyeon said bluntly
"yeah, besides...she's cute with her dorky grin on her face, and hot when she does her dance move.." Sunny complement, and Taeyeon looked at her jealously
Okay, maybe Sunny's right. But i hate to admit that both Sunny and Hyoyeon are right. I took a glance at Taeyeon, and she seemed irritated to what Sunny said about Yuri. They're a couple, so it's normal for Tae to feel jealous.
"Hyo, Seo, don't forget to come to my place tonight. We'll have dinner with them.." Taeyeon said and then leave
Yuri POV
Me, Yoona, Sooyoung, and Jessica were already stood in front of Taeyeon's door. I knocked it few times, and soon the door opened revealing Sunny with a welcome smile.
"hello guys...come in, we alredy prepared the food.." Sunny moved to the side, giving a space for us to get inside
"hey, take a seat, we still wait for Hyo and Seo to come.." Taeyeon came out from the kitchen
"yes, we're not living with them. They're living together, and three of us also living together.." Sunny added
"three of you?" Yoona raised her brow
"yes, me, Tae, and Fany.." Sunny answered simply and Yoona nodded
Not long enough, Hyo and Seo came. Tiffany came out from her room, as always she looked so beautiful with her simple pink shirt and pants revealing her milky skin.
"stop staring.." Tiffany said coldly
"s-sorry.." i rubbed my nape
We then ate our meal in the dining table. We chatted and laughed together, while i was busy to stole a glance at Tiffany every minutes till we finished our meal and moved to the living room.
Tiffany excused herself to go to the store, and i did the same. I didn't want her to walk alone, so i decided to follow. She seemed irritated with my presence. But i didn't care, i just want her to be safe.
"stop following me.." Tiffany turned around
"i won't let you walk alone.."
"i'm not alone, Kai is waiting for me.."
"then, i'll walk you to him.." i said simply
"geez, why are you so irritating?"
"you're cute when you get mad.." i grinned
"i don't like you!! So, get away from me now!!" she glared
"it's okay, but i like you. I fell for you deeply since the first time i saw you.." i said truthfully
"i'm serious!!" she yelled, but i found it cute
"so do i.."
Tiffany rolled her eyes and continued her step while i keep on following her from behind. I didn't say anything till we exited this building. I saw a man standing in the parking lot in front of this building. Tiffany ran towards him immadiately, and i increased my speed towards them. The man smiled and gave a peck on her cheek.
"hello, beauty.."
"hey, Kai.."
"woah, your follower is also here, Fany. Why is she always around you?"
"i've told her to stop following me, but she didn't listen to me.." Tiffany said irritatedly
"well, we better go now, Fany-ah.."
"oh wait, i forgot my phone. I'll take it, wait a minute okay?"
"okay, don't be too long, Fany.."
Tiffany ran and i was about to follow, but Kai grabbed my upper hand and turned me around harshly.
"so, how much do you like her?" he raised his brow
"i really like her, why? Is that a matter for you?" i answered calmly
"honestly yes, stay away from her because she'll be mine tonight.." he smirked
"be yours?" i clenched my fist
"yup, i can't wait to feel her y body, her touch, her y voice screaming my name in pleasure and i want to be inside of her soon.." he laughed and i punched him hardly on the face immadiately
"what the ??!!" he pushed me, but i moved faster than him, i punched him again and again
"Yuri? Kai?" i heard Tiffany's voice in shock
"Yuri!!! Stop it!!!" she grabbed my shoulder and pulled me away from Kai
"what the hell are you doing?" she slapped my cheek
"she's crazy, Fany-ah. She punched me suddenly when i said that you'll be mine and to stay away from you.." Kai stood up while holding his cheek with his palm
"listen to me, Yuri!! i don't like you and never like you till whenever!!! I'm straight, and if i possibly turn into a gay someday, it musn't be because of you!!!" she screamed
"i hate you, i'm ing hate you, Yuri!!!" she added
My eyes widen hearing her words, my heart shattered into pieces. Seems like i was jabbed by hundred knives. Tears threatened to fall, and i bit my lips hardly, trying to hold the tears. I avoided her gaze, didn't want her to see my teary eyes.
"i-i'm sorry, Tiffany. I won't disturb you anymore, i promise.."
With that, i turned around and walked away slowly. I couldn't hold my tears anymore, it fell freely from my eyes. I shed it few times but it couldn't help. My tears keep flowing even more.
I thought that if i held out my hand, i'd be able to reach you.
But i was wrong, totally wrong.
I'll never able to reach you, i guess.
