The Only Light I See
2 days without her lovely girlfriend in her arms was too much for Yuri. She couldn't imagine if she must really waited for the other girl for hundred years. But if she really had to do it, she would do it then.
"what are you doing, Miss?" someone said, and Yuri turned around
She smiled, looking at the person whom she was waiting for, "i'm waiting for my cutie.."
"your cutie?" the person raised her eyebrow
"yes, my cute girlfriend.."
"and who's your cute girlfriend?"
"you.." Yuri smiled and leaned in for a kiss
"miss me?"
"yes, i miss you so much, my Fany Fany Tiffany.."
"aww, i miss you too, honey.." Tiffany smiled, showing her eyesmile
"let's go?" Yuri offered her hand
"let's go.." Tiffany took Yuri's hand happily
Yuri brought Tiffany to eat lunch at a cafe, then went to a mall. They were happy they could spend their time together. Eating ice cream, drinking coffee, watching movie, and shopping.
Yuri then decided to send her girlfriend home before night, because she should go to her mother's house. She actually wanted to leave since morning, but she just couldn't because seeing her girlfriend's excitement was her weakness.
"Tiff.."
"hmm?"
"i need to go, my mother wants to see me. I'll be back before midnight, okay?"
"okay.." Tiffany nodded and Yuri kissed her forehead
"Yul.."
"yes?"
"be safe.." Tiffany said before Yuri leave
"thank you.." Yuri smiled then leave
"umma.." Yuri greeted her mother
"hello, sweety.." Mrs.Im gave her daughter a kiss on the cheek
"sorry, i'm late.."
"it's okay, darling. Just go to your father's room, he's waiting for you. Your sister had been there already.."
"okay.."
Yuri walked to her father's room then proceeded to open the door. She actually felt a bit hesitant, her heart was heavy. Her father probably going to make her cry tonight.
"do you want to talk to me, appa?" Yuri asked politely
"yes, come in.."
The atmosphere was uncomfortable, she could sense something bad would probably happen here. Maybe, just maybe, her father would scold her or something like that.
"just straight to the point, Yoona, Yuri. I'm going to give my company to Yoona.."
"what about Yuri unnie?"
"she's not my daughter, and i never though she was. So, she won't get anything from me.."
Both Yuri and Yoona looked at him, disbelief. Yuri clenched her fists, trying hard not to explode. She was right, her father would make her cry tonight.
"appa? How could you?"
"it's okay, Yoona. I understand.." Yuri finally said after fighting back her tears
"it's not okay, unnie!!! And appa, why are you doing this to her? What's her fault anyway? She never did anything bad, she always obeyed you, and never said 'no' to what you said!!!!"
"Yoona!! How dare you talk to me like that???"
"just blame yourself for this!!!"
"Yoona!!!!" Mr.Im took a stick and was about to hit Yoona but Yuri quickly hugged her, covering the younger girl's body with hers
So, instead of hit Yoona, Mr.Im hit Yuri. And he kept continue, he was so angry, very angry. No one could stop him. Meanwhile, Yuri just closed her eyes, hoping to forget the pain, but it couldn't help.
"appa!! Stop!!! You're hurting her!!" Yoona managed to yell
"so, you learn that yell from this girl, huh?" Mr.Im stopped eventually
"no, it's not!!"
"stop yelling!!!!!"
Yoona glared, "i won't take your company, appa. Never.."
"Yoona!!"
"let's go, unnie.." with that, Yoona pulled the older girl's hand and they headed home
"Yuri, you're home.." Tiffany stood up from the couch when she saw Yuri entered their apartment
"hey.." Yuri just smiled weakly
"what's wrong? You look terrible.." Tiffany cupped Yuri's face
"it's nothing, i'm just tired.."
"don't lie to me.."
"i-"
Before Yuri could finish her sentence, Yoona came in and hugged Yuri immadiately while crying. Meanwhile Jessica and Tiffany just looked at them in confusion
"i'm sorry, unnie.....i'm sorry.."
"ssh, it's not your fault, Yoong.." Yuri couldn't help but cried along with her sister, she had held her tears for quite long time
"it's mine, unnie....i'm so sorry.."
"stop blaming yourself, i'm okay.." Yuri managed to say between her sob
"no, you're not!!!" Yoona tighten her hug
"believe me, i'm okay.." Yuri signed Jessica to take Yoona to their room, and Jessica did it
Yoona cried in Jessica's embrace till she unconsciously fell asleep, tired of crying. Jessica stared at her girlfriend, and wiped the tears on her face. She kissed Yoona's lips then slowly drifted into sleep as well.
"your father did this?" Tiffany asked while treating bruises on Yuri's back
"it's my fault.." Yuri lied and Tiffany sighed, she knew the tanned girl didn't want to talk about it
"look at me.." Tiffany turned her around and cupped her face
"i love you, and you can tell me everything. So, if you're ready to tell me, you know i'm always here.." Tiffany looked deeply into Yuri's eyes and kissed the other girl's forehead
"thank you.." Yuri could only say that, and Tiffany understood
"let's sleep? I'm tired.." Yuri said weakly, and Tiffany nodded
They lied on the bed, embracing each other. Tiffany kissed Yuri's lips gently and gave her a smile before she closed her eyes. Yuri smiled back and closed her eyes as well.
Another hard day for the Im sisters.
