The Only Light I See
Yuri, Tiffany, and Jessica were finally graduated. They were happy. Their parents came to see them, even Tiffany's father, sister, and brother flew from US to Korea to see her.
And now, they were all at airport. Krystal's departure in few minutes more. Jessica and her mother hugged Krystal for the longest time, then her father, Yoona, Tiffany, and the last, Yuri.
"take care of yourself okay?" Yuri ruffled Krystal's hair
"i will.."
"and don't forget to visit us again.."
"sure.."
"but it's better for you to finish your school quickly, so you can stay here permanently.." Jessica interrupted
"don't worry, unnie. I'll finish my school as fast as i could, like a blink of an eye.." Krystal said proudly
"we'll be waiting.." Yoona patted the younger girl's shoulder
"thank you, unnie.." with that, announcement of Krystal's plane was heard, she bid goodbye then slowly walked away with her luggage
"uhm...uncle Jung, auntie Jung, Yoona, Sica, we need to go now.." Yuri excused themselves
"oh sure, go ahead.." Mrs.Jung smiled and both of Tiffany and Yuri bowed politely then leave
"Yoona, Jessica, follow me.." Mr.Jung said firmly
"i'm sorry i can't spend time with you tonight, i should stay at hotel with my sister, giving her a companion.." Tiffany said on their way to the hotel
"it's okay, baby. I understand.."
"but you can join us at dinner if you want.." Tiffany smiled brightly
"no it's okay, i know you need some time with your family. You miss them so much, right?"
"but-"
"don't worry about me, sugar.."
Tiffany sighed, "call me if you get home, and before you sleep, okay?"
"okay, princess.." Yuri smiled and pecked the other girl's lips
"just straight to the point, i want you two to break up. And like what i've said, Jessica.....i want you to marry Jiyoung. For Yoona, i want you to stay away from my daugther.."
"appa!!"
"how's it, Yoona?"
Yoona clenched her fist, trying to calm her anger, "i'm sorry, Mr.Jung. I can't obey you.."
"you'll regret it, Yoona.."
"no, i won't regret it. I'll fight for your daughter, i love her so much, and i won't let her go easily.."
"let's go, Yoong. I don't want to be here any longer.." Jessica stood up and pulled the younger girl's hand, leaving Mr.Jung with a fury eyes
"sugar, i'm on the bed now.." Yuri said through her phone
"me too, honey.." Tiffany was happy to get a call from her girlfriend
"what about your sister?"
"she is asleep.."
"your brother and your dad?"
"i don't know, they're in different room.."
"oh right, i forget. Anyway, how's your dinner earlier?"
"it's good, it's been so long since the last i had dinner with them.."
"you had fun?"
"so much fun.."
"i'm happy to hear that.." Yuri smiled, and she knew Tiffany also smiled there
"honey.."
"yes?"
"i miss you.." Tiffany said cutely, earning a chuckle from the other girl
"i miss you too, sugar.." Yuri wanted to kiss her girlfriend so much because of it
"wait for me, okay? My family will fly back to US in 2 days.."
"i'll be waiting, sugar. Don't worry, even if you take hundreds, million, or even billion days, i'll always be here, waiting for you.."
"such a sweet talker.." Tiffany giggled
"it's getting late, i know you're tired. You better sleep now, sugar.."
"but i still want to talk to you, i miss you.." Tiffany whined, and Yuri chuckled at her girlfriend's cuteness
"I'll come to your place tomorrow to see you.."
"really? You wanna come?"
"yes, i'll come.."
"yeaaay!!!"
"but you have to sleep now, okay?"
"oowwkaay.." Tiffany said like a kid
"good, have a nice dream, i love you.."
"i love you too.."
Both of them hung up their phone, and Tiffany smiled with smile on her face. She couldn't wait to see her girlfriend tomorrow, even though they just met this evening, but still Tiffany missed the tanned girl's presence.
Meanwhile, Yuri could only hug Tiffany's pillow, sniffing the other girl's scent which left on the pillow. She took her cellphone and stared at Tiffany's photo on the screen, smiling to herself, she kissed the photo then slowly drifted into sleep.
"Yoong.."
"hmm?"
"thank you.."
"for what?"
"for always been here. For not giving up on me, on us. For protecting me. And for putting your trust on me.."
"baby, that's what i should do, right? So, don't thank me. I'm a fool if i do the opposite.."
Jessica smiled, hearing her girlfriend said it made her believe that she chose the right person. The person who loves her with all its heart. She was grateful, she had Yoona in her life.
"i love you, Yoong.."
"i love you too, baby.."
