Supportive Girlfriends
The Only Light I See
Yoona and Jessica were in a store. They bought some stuffs for their new house. Even though they already had almost everything to fill the house, but still they wanted to make themselves comfortable in their own house.
"you think we should buy this?" Yoona asked, holding a night lamp
"uhm, it's cute, i think it's fine if we buy this.." Jessica said while inspecting the lamp
"alright then.." Yoona put the lamp into the trolley
"what again? I think it's enough.." Jessica intertwined their arms as they walked around the store
"you think so?"
"yeah, if we need something later we can go back here and buy it.."
"you're right. Besides, i'm really tired now, my legs are hurt.." Yoona pouted
"poor my baby.." Jessica giggled and pecked the younger girl's lips
And right after that, Jessica's phone rang in the wrong time. She received a call from her father, telling her that she had to attend a urgent meeting at the office.
Jessica didn't want to leave, she felt bad to her girlfriend. She was just had a time to spend it with her girlfriend, but it was all ruined because of work.
"baby, sorry i have to go, i have a urgent meeting to attend with my father.." Jessica pouted
"why so sudden?" Yoona frowned
"i don't know, he only said that i have to be there on the meeting.." Jessica pouted even more
"okay, i'll come with you then.."
"what? No, you don't need to, i can take a cab and you can go home first.."
"no, i wanna come with you.."
"but-"
"pleaseee..."
Jessica sighed, "okay, but i don't know how long it will take.."
"i don't mind.."
Both of them headed to Jessica's office. And Jessica stormed to the meeting room soon after they arrived. Meanwhile, being a supportive girlfriend, Yoona waited patiently for her in Jessica's office room.
The meeting ended up in 2 hours, and when Jessica went back to her office, she found her girlfriend slept with her head rested on the desk. Jessica frowned automatically, she felt really bad towards the younger girl.
Jessica was staring at Yoona's sleeping face. It was so peaceful, and she didn't want to wake her up. But it was really uncomfortable for Yoona to sleep in that position. So, after a quite long staring, Jessica shook her girlfriend's body gently.
"Yoong, wake up.."
"......"
"Yoong.."
"mmm"
"wake up, baby. Let's go home.."
"uh, you done?" Yoona rubbed her eyes cutely
"yeah, let's go home.." Jessica smiled warmly
"okay.." Yoona stood up, and they slowly walked towards their car hand in hand
"Yoong.."
"yes?"
"thank you.." Jessica said sincerely
"for what?"
"for being an understanding girlfriend.."
Yoona chuckled, "i do it because i love you.."
"you know i love you too.." Jessica squeeze Yoona's hand gently
Yuri and Tiffany reached their house eventually. Tiffany was felt uneasy somehow, there was something in her mind that bothering her. However, Yuri noticed it but she only thought that maybe her girlfriend was tired because of work. So she decided to bathe and ask about it after she done.
Yuri exited the bathroom and didn't find her girlfriend in her room. She walked out from her room and found Tiffany who was spacing out.
Yuri approached the other girl and sat beside her on the couch. Pulling her closer to her embrace. She wanted to ask why her girlfriend was a bit strange, but she held it back, decided to wait her girlfriend to said it without her asking first.
"honey.." Tiffany finally spoke
"hmm?"
"i wanna tell you something.."
"what is it, baby?" Yuri caressed her girlfriend's head
"i got a work trip, and i have to go to Jeju island for 3 days.." Tiffany said without looking at Yuri's eyes
"work trip to Jeju?" Yuri asked calmly
"yes.."
"for 3 days?"
"y-yes, can i go?"
"with Changmin?"
"uhm, yes....but it's not only the two of us, there will be others.." Tiffany bit her bottom lip nervously
There was a silence between them. Tiffany didn't dare to meet Yuri's gaze, she was afraid that the tanned girl would probably mad at her. Meanwhile, Yuri was thinking hard, she didn't want to disallow her girlfriend and being possessive because deep inside she was jealous. Who wouldn't be? Being alone without your girlfriend for 3 days and the worst is your girlfriend was with a man who had a crush on her.
Yuri took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. She was trying hard to be a supportive girlfriend for Tiffany, only for her. She didn't want to see disappointment at her girlfriend's eyes. It's for her job, she was supposed to support her.
"okay.." Yuri finally said
"what?" Tiffany got a courage to look into Yuri's eyes
"you can go.."
"really? I can go?" Tiffany asked with hopefull eyes
"yes, baby. You can go.." Yuri smiled and pinched Tiffany's nose playfully
"thank you, honey. Thank you.." Tiffany smiled widely, threw herself into her girlfriend's embrace once again
Yuri chuckled, "don't forget to call me when you're there, okay?"
"i won't forget, honey. I promise.." Tiffany smiled even more
"that's my girl.." Yuri ruffled Tiffany's hair playfully
"i love you, Yuri.." Tiffany said cutely
"i love you too, Fany baby.."
