Chapter 13 - Empty Classroom

"Ah, where's Sulli?!" Krystal asks worriedly to the group of boys, Amber was puffed out who was clung onto Krystal's arm. Key and Jonghyun shrugged, "not sure... I think I saw her with Yuri" Onew says.

Krystal and Amber thanked Onew and ran towards the schools cafeteria. There was Yuri who was happily sitting with her friends Seohyun, Tiffany and Jessica. "Oh let me at her!" Amber growled holding her fist in the air, Krystal grabbed her arm, "no! We don't want to start a fight Amber."

Amber sighed and nodded, the two walked up to the girls. "Yuri, where's Sulli?" Yuri glared at them for a second and then resumed back to talking with her friends. Amber grabbed her shoulders and spun her around.

"Where's Sulli?!" Amber demanded.

Yuri scoffed, "get your dirty hands off me. How would I know?" Krystal was losing patience.

"Yuri, tell me where Sulli is. Don't lie to me, you were with her!" Krystal snapped, this caught attention from a few of the fellow students. Yuri didn't answer, "come on girls" she got up along with her three friends and walked off.

Amber and Krystal searched everywhere.

"We've searched everywhere Krystal... I don't think she's at school"

Krystal shook her head, "she has to be here. I've had a bad feeling ever since first break. Heck! She didn't even turn up to class.

"The school's secret garden!" Amber shouted out as soon as she finally realised there was still one more place.

Krystal nodded, the two ran straight there to find Sulli sitting on the bench with her head down.

"Sulli!"

Sulli looked up to find her two best friends, a small smile appeared.

"Krystal, Amber... What are you both doing here?" she asks quietly.

"We were worried about you! What have you been doing?! Where were you during class after break?"

Sulli sighed and looked down while smiling. "I made my first rival."

"Eh?" Krystal and Amber said in union confused.

Sulli hopped up and hugged both of her best friends, "I made my first rival!" Sulli giggled.

Krystal scoffed, "is that something to be happy about?"

"Mhm!"

Krystal and Amber rolled their eyes but decided to enjoy Sulli's embrace.

It was the end of the day, Yuri was walking towards home when she saw Minho who was unlocking the lock on his bike at the bike shed.

It's now or never... Yuri thought to herself.

"O-Oppa!" Yuri shouted happily, Minho smiled as he saw Yuri. He walked towards her with his bike.

"Yuri. What are you doing here?" Minho asks, Yuri giggled. "You're silly! I live near here!" Minho chuckled. "I'm sorry, I didn't know."

"So... Aren't you driving today? Why are you taking a bike?"

Minho smiled, "I thought it'd be nice to ride a bike or walk even... Instead of driving"

Little did Yuri know, it was because of Sulli who was always walking home.

"Ah... I see..." Yuri smiled. Minho smiled back and patted her shoulder, "I'll be going then. See you tomorrow."

Minho rode past Yuri who suddenly said...

"Stop"

Minho stop and turned his head around, Yuri closed her eyes tightly and clenched her hands into a fist which were beside her hips.

"M-Minho... I like you!"

Minho's eyes widened. Minho quickly jumped off the bike, the bike fell to the ground. Minho ran towards Yuri and stood in front of her.

"Yuri..."

Yuri kept her face hidden, she knew that he was going to reject her.

"I... I like you Minho... I've liked you since middle school. Since the day you comforted me when I was crying... Please accept my feelings" tears were starting to form in Yuri's eyes.

"Yuri... I-I'm sorry" Minho apologizes quietly. Yuri took in a small breath and took a few steps back, she slowly lifted her head. Minho's eyes widened as he saw the tears falling onto her cheeks. He quickly brought out a handkerchief and offered it to Yuri.

Yuri scoffed and smacked it out his hands.

Minho sighed, "I'm sorry... I can't return your feelings. I... I'm a teacher and you're underage..."

Yuri scoffed again, "really? That doesn't stop you from liking her but it stops you from liking me!"

Minho's eyes widened, "that's right. I knew" Yuri says slowly, "I knew you liked her... I've cried every single night since I knew! You know how I knew?..." Yuri fell to the ground, more tears were falling from her eyes onto the ground.

"Because... It's the first time I've seen you look at a girl like that..." Yuri choked out.

Minho crouched to the ground and patted Yuri's back. Yuri shook his hand off and stood up, she took a big breath.

Minho slowly stood up, "Yuri... I... I don't know what to say"

"Isn't it bad enough that you lied to me after rejecting me?..."

"You must hate me now..."

Yuri let out a small laugh, "heh... Hate? I wish I could... But I could never hate you"

Yuri wiped her tears and slowly turned around and started to walk off, she then turned around and poked her tongue out. "You have a bad taste in girls! I really doubt you're ever going to find a girl as cute as me"

Minho sighed as he watched Yuri. There was nothing he could do. The person she needed the most right now was him but there was nothing that he could do to make them both happy.

"Ah why did I wake up so late?! I knew it was a bad idea to think about Minho all night!" Sulli scolded herself as she ran through the school halls.

Sulli checked her watch on her wrist, "ah! Class has already started"

Slowly, Sulli slowed down upon seeing Yuri at her locker. Yuri was wearing sunglasses which confused Sulli a lot.

"Y-Yuri..." Sulli stuttered.

Yuri turned around and walked away. "Stop!" Sulli blurted out.

Yuri stopped in her footsteps.

"I'm sorry Yuri.. I didn't mean to hurt you in anyway"

Yuri scoffed, "hurt me? Minho hurt me! Not you. You're such an idiot. Not everything revolves around you! Stop apologizing for things that aren't your fault!" Yuri took off her glasses. Her eyes were swollen from all the tears she cried out last night.

"See my swollen eyes? You didn't do this! Minho did! Stop blaming yourself.."

Yuri turned around, Sulli was facing her back once again.

"I confessed to him. I told him I liked him"

Sulli's eyes widened.

"He rejected me."

"Yuri..."

Yuri then ran off, Sulli wanted to chase after her. She couldn't help but feel as if it was her fault but Yuri's words dug deep in her mind.

"She confessed to him... Something I'm not brave enough to do. Yuri actually did it... And that makes me feel pathetic" Sulli sighed to herself as she walked towards class.

"Ah! Finally. It's finally lunch!" Amber groaned out loudly, she was so hungry. Krystal and Sulli both laughed.

"I made this for you all!"

Sulli revealed various containers containing foods such as kimichi, boiled chicken, rice and vegetables.

"Ah! Thank you Sulli!" Amber cheered happily, "I'll eat well" Amber dug in. Krystal laughed and hit Amber's head playfully. "Ya! That's so rude. At least leave some for us" Amber pouted, "Eh! I said thank you!" Amber whined.

"Sulli!"

Sulli felt a hand on her shoulder, it was Taemin.

"T-Taemin!" Sulli stuttered.

"I bought us bread! Eat with me" Taemin smiled brightly. Sulli looked at her friends then back at Taemin. "U-Uh yeah sure"

Taemin smiled, "great!" Taemin took Sulli's arm and walked off with her.

Krystal scoffed, "who does he think he is? Stealing our Sulli."

Taemin and Sulli sat together outside on a bench under a tree. It was a nice sunny day with a warm breeze.

"Ah! It's such a perfect day" Taemin says as he took a bite of his sweet bread. Sulli cocked her head to the side, "really?"

"Yes... It's a beautiful day. We don't have any home work tonight, I'm eating my favourite snack... And I'm with the girl I like..."

Sulli's eyes widened.

"W-What?"

Taemin put his bread down and stared into her eyes, "I like you Sulli."

Sulli suddenly choked on her bread and started coughing.

"T-Taemin!..."

"I like you."

Taemin slowly starting leaning in for a kiss.

Sulli's heart started to beat faster, as his lips were about to touch hers, she shifted her head to the side.

Taemin sighed, "I guess you don't feel the same way huh..."

Sulli shook her head, "I-I'm sorry Taemin... But I l-like..."

"I know, I know. You like our teacher!" Taemin snapped. Sulli was surprised.

Taemin grabbed her by the shoulders, "listen to me Sulli. Minho doesn't like you! Okay. Stop liking him. Minho is a teacher and you're a student! He probably has someone special already!"

Sulli's eyes widened, Minho having someone special already?!

Sulli's heart was in so much pain to the thought of Minho having someone special already.

"H... He has someone already?..."

Tears were falling from Sulli's eyes, Taemin sighed. He knew what he just said was all out of jealousy and anger but he couldn't help himself. He scolded himself in his mind for letting him snap like that at Sulli.

Taemin pulled her into a tight hug, "Sulli... Just like me... I can treat you way better. I'll make you feel like the happiest girl in the world. Please stop liking him..."

"So teacher... Could you help me with my homework?" a female student asks shyly. Minho laughed, he was about to reply until he spotted something he didn't like. Something that pushed his jealousy to the max.

Minho took off leaving the female student confused.

"W-What are you doing?!" Minho snapped, Taemin let go of Sulli. Sulli slowly looked at Taemin. Minho the realized she was crying.

"S-Sulli?! Why are you crying?"

Minho grabbed Taemin by the collar of his shirt and brought him up, "what did you do?!" Minho snapped.

Taemin scoffed, "hey 'teacher' is that even appropiate to grab a student like that?"

Minho gritted his teeth and lifted his fist in the air, about to punch Taemin.

"T-Teacher?!"

Onew, Jonghyun, Key and Kim Soo Hyun gasped.

"What are you doing?" Key asks shocked. Minho slowly let go of Taemin.

"Oh well you know, Minho was about to punch me because he thought I made Sulli cry" Taemin rolled his eyes, which he should feel guilty for because he actually did make her cry in a way.

Jonghyun stared at Minho confused, "okay... So you're saying Minho was going to punch Taemin because he made Sulli cry?... Is that even an appropiate way to deal with things?"

"Yeah... Come on... Why would you punch a student for that? It's probaby their personal stuff!" Kim Soo Hyun added.

The boys started making jokes, "ooo does our teacher like Sulli? Key teased. Minho clenched his fist and took a step forward.

"That's right. I like Sulli"

The boys stopped laughing, Taemin's eyes widened.

"I like Sulli"

"Hey... We were only joking Minho... Stop... She's your student and you're way out of her league anyway" Jonghyun stated shocked.

Sulli's eyes widened, w-what is teacher doing?! He's my teacher... He can't say things like that!

Sulli suddenly stood up.

"T-Teacher stop!"

Everyone turned their attention to her.

Sulli turned to Minho and stared into his eyes.

"Teacher, I would appreciate it if you stopped looking out for me like this. I know you're just trying to clear things up but lying isn't the right way to do so! Please don't make any mistunderstandings. You could've lost your job..." Sulli choked out, then running off.

The boys all stared at each other and laughed, "that's right! Minho's always looking out for other students in the craziest way possible"

Minho clenched his fist, he stood frozen for a few seconds before running off to catch up with Sulli.

Taemin sighed, "I guess they really do like each other..."

Sulli had been running for quite a while. "Why did he do that?..." Sulli mumbled to herself.

Minho finally caught up to Sulli, he was out of breath.

"S-Sulli..."

"T-Teacher..."

Sulli still didn't face him. Sulli didn't want him to see her face, she didn't want him to see her sad.

Minho took a deep breath, "Sulli... I like you"

Sulli's eyes widened, "I do too!" Sulli said.

Minho's eyes widened, his heart started to beat faster but then he slowly looked down to the ground.

"They way you like me... Isn't the same way I like you..." Minho sighed.

A tear fell from Sulli's eye. H-He... is right... I shouldn't get ahead of myself...

"Y-Yeah..." Sulli choked out.

"Right..." Minho replied, he slowly walked away from Sulli.

Sulli fell to the ground crying, her shirt was getting soaked from all her tears.

"Ah where's Sulli?" Krystal asks Amber curiously. Amber shrugged, "she's becoming a bad ! Always skipping now a days."

"Hey did you hear about what happened at lunch? Can't believe Minho would fake a confession to protect her" a student laughed, Yuri stopped in her footsteps. "What did you say?!" Yuri demanded, the boy looked shocked. "U-Uh... Well Minho pretended to confess to that student... uh... The one that looks like a ghost... He said he liked her or something but the Sulli said it was a fake confession..."

Yuri clenched her hand into a fist and ran off.

"Geez is Minho not here yet?" Tiffany complained, Seohyun shrugged.

A man who looked to be in there 40's walked in, "sorry for being late. I'm your substitute teacher for the last lesson of today"

Krystal was even more confused, "Sulli? Minho? They're both... Skipping?"

It was the end of class, Yuri dashed out of class with her school bag leaving Krystal even more confused.

"Just what on earth is happening?!"

Krystal's eyes scanned through the classroom to find someone who could give her answers. A smile crept onto Krystal's face.

"Oh Taemin!..."

"I thought I'd find you here" Donghae chuckled, Minho was at the roof top sitting against the wall.

"Donghae..." Minho sighed.

"What's wrong?"

"I told her... She rejected me..." Minho hid his face under his arms. Donghae chuckled and sat beside him patting his back.

"Hey... There are other girls out there"

Minho slowly shook his head, "I've never loved someone before... Sulli makes me so angry sometimes... So sad sometimes... So jealous sometimes but... She makes me the happiest"

Donghae chuckled, "I was right, it is Sulli."

Minho's head shot up and stared at Donghae with wide eyes, "u-uh..."

"Don't worry. I've always knew. But that's a surprise..."

Minho stared at him in confusion, "what is?"

Donghae smirked and stood up, "it's a secret"

He walked off leaving Minho more confused than ever.

Minho sighed and slowly stood up. "I better go grab my things from the classroom."

Sulli sat there silently by herself at the back of the school. The tears were all dried up, her eyes were swollen. Sulli was now just thinking, what should she do? She just wished her feelings could go away.

Suddenly her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar girl in front of her who was panting.

"I... Finally... Found... You" Yuri panted and fell to the ground, out of breath.

"Y-Yuri..." Sulli stuttered, eyes wide open in shock. "What are you doing here?"

"I've been looking for you idiot!"

Sulli gave a small smile, "I guess we're both on the same page now huh. He knows I like him but I still got rejected..." Sulli sighed and stared down at the ground.

Yuri gritted her teeth, "you're the stupidest person I've ever met in my entire life!"

Sulli looked back up at Yuri, confused.

"Did you actually say it?"

"Say what?"

"That you like him!" Yuri snapped.

Sulli shook her head, "n-no..."

Yuri slammed her hand onto the ground. "You're an idiot! I said it... Nice and clear for Minho. I said I liked him! And then he rejected me. Unless he rejects you for saying it clearly! I'd consider us on the same page!" Yuri stood up and ran off.

Sulli's eyes widened, Yuri was right. Sulli didn't say it...

"S-She's right... I'd be much more less pathetic if I actually said it. I'm such a coward" Sulli quickly stood up and ran off.

"Is Minho here?" Sulli was at the staffroom, Yoochun shook his head.

Sulli checked everywhere, the cafeteria, staffroom, basketball court, ovals...

"The classroom..." Sulli's eyes widened and she made a dash towards the classroom.

Sulli stood in front of the door panting, she peeked through the small window. There was Minho, he was slowly putting his text books away into his bag. Sulli slowly opened the door, so there was just a small gap. Just enough for Minho to hear her out. 

Minho turned around upon hearing the door creak open a little, he couldn't see her face but he knew it was Sulli because of her long black hair.

"Sulli..." Minho gasps quietly.

"Please listen to me" Sulli stated quickly. Minho kept his mouth shut.

"I have something to say to you..."

"Come inside, I can talk to you when I can see you clearly"

Sulli shook her head, "n-no! I don't want you to see me right now..."

Minho silently agreed to her request.

"E-Ever since I was young... I was always being teased... Teased about my appearance... Because of my appearance... My personailty matched it. When I was young, this kid called me a ghost. That's when it all started... It started to become my nickname and everyone acknowledge me as a ghost. No one wanted to be my friend... Or wanted to play with me. No one picked me when we had to choose teams for group activities. That all changed when I met you... First day back to school... First day of being in the 11th grade. And you did something that touched me so deeply, you smiled at me. I thought you would just apologize and run off but... But you smiled. For the first time ever, someone smiled at me and I could smile back. After that... You were always around me, you... You took care of me. You helped me gain friends, you helped me getting noticed as a person. The first day, I thought that'd be the only day I see you. But after that I kept seeing you... It made me so happy... During that time... I... I think I've fallen for that person... For my teacher... For you. I like you... I like you a lot!"

Minho's eyes widened.

"I know that you can't accept my feelings... You're my teacher... I'm your student... You probably never thought of me that way b-..."

Suddenly the door was fully opened, Minho grabbed Sulli by the waist and pulled her in. He closed the door behind them and embraced her tightly.

"S-Stupid..." Minho sighed happily.

Sulli's eyes widened, "t-teacher..."

"Not you... Me."

Sulli was confused to why she hugged him... But she slowly returned it and embraced him.

"I like you Sulli... I've liked you from the first time I saw you smile. Though not as much back then... But those feelings grew and grew..."

Tears were falling from Sulli's eyes, "t-teacher..."

"I, Choi Minho... Like you... Sulli, Choi Jinri. Please be mine."

Finally updated hehe! Long awaited chapter ;) Finally here! Yayayay. Honestly I was going to cliff hanger this after the
mistunderstanding when Minho and Sulli thought they both got rejected but... I'm a nice author... keke. LOL!
I hope you enjoy, more Minsul moments now :D But... more problems..? Oh no :(
Oo the chapter is called empty classroom because they were both alone bla bla bla! I didn't want to be mainstream and call the chapter title...
'confession' LOL have you noticed that many authors use 'confession' as their chapter title! It pretty much gives it away...
NO HATE! I'm just sayin :D
