BAP - Crash

"This is SO going to be fun! A school excursion for the freshmen students! I'm so excited!"

I watched and listened to Amber the whole time she packed her bag in the dorm that night. All of the freshmen students will be going to a school trip. It's somewhat of an outing, but there is a class project or trip report behind this, I'm sure of it.

"Did your professor give you anything to do for class?" I asked.

Amber shook her head. "None. But I suppose those school works would pop out after this. But if there ain't, then I'm friggin' happy!"

I laughed. I've already packed my bags a few minutes before her. So all I have to do now is to bring myself to bed and go to sleep.

"Hey, Amber. You're Chinese, right?"

"Taiwanese," she corrected. "But, heck. People tend to confuse that. Anyway, there is not much of a difference. So I just go with it."

I nodded. "True, indeed." I looked up at her. "What do you think of Kris Wu, then?"

She stopped and glared at me. "How the heck did he became our topic?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe because both of you are Chinese, so to speak?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Luhan's Chinese too, you know."

"He's taken," I quickly replied. "Just answer the darned question."

She paused and turned her back at me. "I don't know, too. I haven't even met the guy. They say he's pretty popular among the girls. I don't know. Maybe I'll know once I get to meet him."

"Want to meet him?"

Amber turned and glared at me again. "I know that tone, Miss. You're not trying to set me up with him, are you?"

I shrugged playfully. "Maybe. Maybe not."

"God, you're nuts." She shook her head and chuckled. "Just go to sleep, would you? I'm much better off alone than be with a crazy matchmaker."

We both laughed and I followed my roommate’s wishes. Finally, I was able to doze off to bed, wondering what will happen tomorrow.

Lulu and I were already beside our designated bus while other students looked for theirs. Luhan made sure we get the same bus so we'd also be seatmates. The wise-crack's strategies, really.

Luhan was talking to some of his friends who were taking the same bus as us. I was looking around, watching for some other interesting things.

I spotted Amber along with her other friends in another bus. When she saw me, she quickly waved. After I waved back, she returned back to her friends.

I noticed there were six buses. Hm. So, there aren't that many freshmen after all. Or maybe not all came. But anyway, it's good. Fewer nuisances.

I wonder. Where could Kris be? Did he come? If he did, what bus? I just thought of that because I kinda noticed that Kris doesn't have many acquaintances around here other than Luhan and me. I guess he's not much of the friendly type.

"What bus are you?"

I turned around to look for the owner of the voice who just decided to pop out of nowhere. "Oh! Kris. You came."
