It was February 6 and Sunghee awoke with a heavy heart.

"You're 19 now." she softly muttered as she looked at the picture on the nightstand next to her bed. "Happy birthday Yunho. I wish I could actually say it to you..."

"Honey, are you going somewhere today?" Mrs. Kang asked her daughter.

"I'll be out with Jasmine and Ricky." Sunghee replied.

"When will you start dating Ricky honey?" Mr. Kang asked.

"Eh? We're just close friends." she replied.

"C'mon sweetheart, obviously, Ricky likes you too." Mrs. Kang said.

Sunghee shrugged. "I'm off now."

"Be careful." both her parents yelled.

"Sunghee-yah, Jasmine cancelled on us last minute." Ricky said when he saw her at the park.

"Traitor." Sunghee muttered. "What do you want to do now then?"

"Why don't we just go grab breakfast then shop?" Ricky suggested.

Sunghee nodded.

"Man, we haven't had pho in so long." Sunghee said the moment her bowl of pho came out.

Ricky chuckled. "Such a pig."

"Shut up." Sunghee said jokingly. "Ah~ Ngon qua." (So good.)

Ricky looked at Sunghee amusingly. "Someone's Vietnamese improved."

"I told you to take it as a foreign language with me dummy. But NO, you just insisted on Spanish." Sunghee said.

"If you live in the states, it's best if you learn Spanish to communicate." Ricky defended.

"We live in the east. There's more people who speak French than Spanish." she replied.

"I want to live in the west in the future so HA!" he said and laughed at her cutely.

Sunghee pouted. "Giu qua. (So mean)"

"Yah, don't go all Vietnamese on me!" Ricky pouted.

"Arasso."

-Mall-

"Why do you always buy heart necklaces but never wear them?" Ricky asked Sunghee. "You always buy it on this day too."

Sunghee looked at Ricky. "Ah, it's just a habit I guess."

"Really? Because usually if girls buy necklaces, they'd buy a variety of them not just heart ones." 

"Don't worry about it." she replied and walked to the cashier to pay for the item.

-Park near Sunghee's House-

"Sunghee-yah, I want to tell you something." Ricky said.

"Shoot." she replied as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"I- I like you." he confessed. "I know you might think it's weird because I'm younger than you but I hope-"

"I like you too." she said. "I think you're cute and down to earth."

Ricky smiled. "So you want to be my girlfriend?"

Sunghee nodded. "Yeah."
