We Are Just Meant To Be

Chapter Twenty-eight

Ji Yong bounced onto the fluffy bed that he shared with Seung Hyun, slightly humming and purring as he made a mess of it. By the time he was done with it, the covers were falling to the side and the pillows were scattered all around, while he made his peace with Seung Hyun’s pillow. His attention raptly captured by Seung Hyun when he walked into the bedroom fresh from his shower. Ji Yong had been waiting for him, and couldn’t help but release the pillow to roll his way to the edge of the bed and motion with both his hands for Seung Hyun to come to him.

Seung Hyun raised an eyebrow at the messy bed, before looking at Ji Yong whose hair was still damp, while wearing seemingly nothing but a button up shirt, that was slightly ed at the top and ridding dangerously high on his thighs, revealing even more of those of his already legs. Dropping the towel he was using to dry his ears, he made his way over to his eager mate and allowed himself to be pulled into the bed. Ji Yong then clawed off Seung Hyun’s shirt, purring when he got to the bare chest and nuzzled into it, his legs wrapping around Seung Hyun’s waist as the two of them rolled around looking for a comfortable sleeping position.

In the end, Seung Hyun ended up on his side, with Ji Yong curled into him, an arm and leg thrown on him. Seung Hyun couldn’t keep himself from caressing Ji Yong’s inner thighs, or nibbling on his neck. He just couldn’t get enough of Ji Yong. Ji Yong ran his fingers through Seung Hyun’s hair, encouraging him to continue.

“So, Hee Chul approached me today”

Seung Hyun hummed against Ji Yong’s warm skin, “Siwon approached me as well, and said something about how I need to control my submissive”

“I told you they were looking at us funny” Ji Yong said, moving his face towards Seung Hyun’s, nuzzling their noses together.  “They disrespected our relationship Hyunie; I am going to get them back for that! They think they are so smart” Ji Yong growled.

“Ji, when it comes to you trying to insult or get revenge on others, you at it.”

Ji Yong puffed out his cheeks “I do not!”

“You don’t even know how to retort properly,” Seung Hyun said, “Calling names probably works when you fight with Seungri, but not others.”

Ji Yong huffed. “Well I’ve never really fought with anyone. I always get along with others- but I don’t like Hee Chul or Siwon. They give me a bad vive” He sighed, “I think we should return the favor out of courtesy,”

“Meaning?”

“We try to break them up”  

Seung Hyun made a face, “I don’t know.” He hated the idea of someone trying to break him up with Ji Yong, but he also didn’t like the idea of doing the same to someone else. It was what he had always been thought, to never do onto others what he didn’t want done on him. But knowing his mate, this meant that it was war.

“They tried it on us,”

“But we both know something that stupid isn’t going to work n us. We practically tell each other everything.” Seung Hyun said.

“I like that about us” Ji Yong proudly said. “Now, we need a plan,”

“We should concentrate for our match tomorrow-oh” he then smirked, an idea suddenly entering his mind, “I think I know something that can be done” he suddenly said, making Ji Yong look at him oddly. Seung Hyun leaned towards him and whispered his plan into his ear, making Ji Yong look at him in awe.

“That’s perfect” he grinned, before capturing Seung Hyun’s lips with his, and It was some time before they were able to go to sleep after that.

The next day promised a lot. As expected, Siwon and Hee Chul were back to being creepy on how they looked at both Seung Hyun and Ji Yong. But they didn’t let this bother them as they concentrated on the battle at hand. Today two important battles were going to take place and the first one was between Young Bae and Seungri, against Ji Ho and Ji Hoon. Ji Yong had already heard from Seung Hyun that Ji Ho was strong, although he was a submissive; he could fight well on his own and had his own strategies that could stand alone, as well as potentially help his mate greatly.

Seung Hyun had said that it was what made Ji Ho dangerous and special.  Still, Young Bae and Seungri had come this far so there was still a chance that they would win this! Ji Yong was rooting for them to win it all, or at least that they would be given the chance to face off, because come one, who could beat him and Seung Hyun? Well, that was for later anyways, the second battle, for now he concentrated on this.

From the left side if the field, stood Ji Ho and Ji Hoon, and to the right side of the field was Young Bae and Seungri- both couples taking in the final moments to share words to each other before facing their opponent. There was burning determination between them all. The referee looked them over as he began to rattle off the rules as it was customary, before he jumped out of the way- feeling more and more terrified as battles seemed to nearly come to an end.

“We’ll be just fine” Young Bae muttered to Seungri whom swallowed hard, and nodded his head. Yes, they would be just fine! There was no doubting themselves now. Young Bae had always said they will be just fine and they had always been just fine. So taking a page from Ji Yong’s book, Seungri powered up a ball of his own- knowing that although he could not give any of his energies to his mate, he could at least assist him in this way.

Young Bae and Ji Hoon soon launched an attack on each other, one of them throwing large bouts of fire, while the other one threw spirals of icicles. The burning and ice melted in the middle, and created a wet puddle in the middle. When Ji Hoon’s attack ended though, Young Bae dashed to the side, allowing Seungri to attack. The power build up that he had melded into the ball, catching Ji Hoon by surprise and sending him toppling over. Ji Ho rushed to his mate when Young Bae moved again, intending to land an attack—when suddenly all of his limbs froze.

Ji Ho smirked, his eyes glowing a dangerous green color as he held him in time.

At this moment Ji Hoon got to his feet, and a round house kick to Young Bae.

Seungri’s eyes were wide as he watched Young Bae pummel down onto the dirt, but he was helpless, seeing as he couldn’t move.  Young Bae gasped, and Ji Hoon made to attack him once more, threatening to knock the air out of him, but Young Bae was able to roll himself away, and send a smack of  mud landing on Ji Hoon’s face.

The black eared neko hissed as the watery blob hit him, and made him back up.

But it was obvious who was in control here.

Even as Ji Hoon was down, Ji Ho didn’t relent his power of controlling time and freezing it. He had both Young Bae and Seungri frozen as he walked over to Ji Hoon and cleaned his face.

“What was that?” Ji Yong asked Seung Hyun as both of them stood in the audience. Even the audience was left in awe at how powerful this couple was. They didn’t know who to root for, but they kept watching.

“That’s Ji Ho’s ability, for a few seconds he can manipulate time to stop for him,” Seung Hyun answered.

“And that is legal?” Ji Yong asked, feeling pissed at such an unfair move.

“Completely legal, see, Ji Ho can only freeze time to those he is looking to, not anyone else, so if both were to separate, like if he was looking at Young Bae, then he wouldn’t be able to freeze Seungri- but it is still a very dangerous move.” Seung Hyun said. “I mean even if he freezes one at a time, he and his mate are two and they can do a lot of damage together,”

“Aigo, I hope they will be fine,” Ji Yong said, worriedly looking back down on the field to where the events had not stopped.

Ji Ho and Ji Hoon weren’t know for the time couple for nothing. Although the effects of freezing time for Ji Ho were limited, it was enough, for that slight moment and time that really made the difference in their power. That moment of hopelessness that washed over the other couple as neither of them could defend or offend. When they couldn’t protect each other. Not to mention that they knew how to attack their opponent by directing their attacks to the bones- the one thing that took much longer to heal than small wounds.

And with an unmated couple, the best thing to target.

“Okay, let’s go again,” Ji Ho said.

Ji Hoon nodded, now able to see again. This time a huge black bomb was built from his aura and he decided he was going to play a little.  Both Young Bae and Seungri’s eyes widened as several more bombs landed near them, and at the snap of Ji Ho’s fingers, each of them lighted up with fire that sizzled down, in warning.

The smirk on their faces was annoying, but Young Bae was there to take himself and Seungri out of the way as soon as they went BOOM! Because at that instant it was when Ji Ho released the time hold on them.

“Arrgh, Not good enough,”

“Let’s try that again”

They both laughed, as a cannon was built out of Ji Hoon’s power, and he walked around as he pulled at a string on the side, making several cannon balls land near Young Bae and Seungri whom were now running for their lives. Whatever it was that they were doing was comical to both Ji Ho and Ji Hoon but not to Young Bae and Seungri whom were starting to get mad. Ji Ho had a spyglass as well, and pointed out each time with accuracy where they were likely to land.

Seungri was the one to land back onto the solid ground again, before he dashed, in quick speed across the field. Young Bae created a bat out of his own power, and started to hit back the cannon balls, making Ji Hoon and Ji Ho look at them with wide eyes. Black smoke of the bombs that landed around them  made them cough and had them covering their eyes as they tried to re group and conquer by getting to build a new weapon.

But at that moment, from behind them, Seungri had created large speakers that made immediately blasted off sound waves created by his sudden singing.

Because of this, Young Bae was able to build a net around Ji Ho and Ji Hoon, trapping them, before electrocuting them.

This was all moves that they had learned from practicing with Ji Yong and Seung Hyun as well as watching them battle.

At that moment, Ji Hoon snagged his nails across the net, hissing when he found that it was made of metal, but it was enough for it to crack and drop them down. Once that happened, Ji Ho froze the time once more, and they moved fast.

This time reversing the damage.

Both of them had what seemed to be water guns in hand as Ji Ho stood behind Seungri and Ji Hoon stood behind Young Bae, holding them both in place. Seungri had not been expecting this, and felt a rope tied around his neck, chocking him and robbing him of precious oxygen, before he was slammed down into the dirt, face first.

Young Bae on the other hand had a blade pressed to his neck, where it threatened to break the skin and kill him. In his mind though he couldn’t help but to think that if they were bonded, they would be able to share their energies, like Ji Hoon and Ji Ho obviously were. Both of them seemed to share energy in a way that others didn’t. Whichever one of them needed the energy it would be given accordingly. This kept the other from draining the other. Usually dominants would make sure that their submissive were the ones with most power so that they could get even more, but in this case, both of them seemed to know that that was not always an effective method- but their powers always mixed.

Ji Ho smirked as he looked at Ji Hoon whom nodded, and grabbed Young Bae  by the back of his head, and flipped him over his shoulder and down to the ground. The browned ear neko falling hard on his back, and the sound of it cracking sounding sick to the ears. The crowd all made sympathetic sounds, as Ji Hoon twisted Young Bae’s body, grabbing his arm around and drove his knee sharply down on it, hearing even more bone crack.

“AAAH!” Young Bae wailed, his eyes watering over as pain coursed through him. No, he had to be strong. Even through the pain his eyes moved quickly and then he saw his chance. Ji Hoon’s tail was near his as he moved to the side, and seemed to consider braking his other hand. His own tail shot out, and wrapped around Ji Hoon’s, harshly pulling on it.  

“OW!”

And when the weight was off him, he shot a punch out to Ji Hoon’s face, as his body started to slowly heal its broken bones. Ji Ho whom was still holding Seungri down, bare his teeth and held time still once more, so his mate was able to catch Young Bae. Young Bae felt his body freeze and at this time,  Seungri threw his head back, knocking it just bellow Ji Ho’s jaw, making him bite his tongue.

Seungri decided to make this his epic escape, but Ji Ho was like a black cloud that would not dissipate and just when he thought he was free, he was under him again, this time his head slamming down into the ground even more hard, it felt like it would split his skull. The hit left him feeling nearly confused, and he felt himself be rolled to his side, as several kicks were delivered to the sides of his stomach and hips. A final kick sent him across the field to hit the wall, and he huffed as it knocked the air right out of him.

Young Bae was thrashing Ji Hoon by this point, and had him down as he punched his face into the dirt, but Ji Ho, being connected to his mate could feel this and immediately started to feed him off his strength. His bones healed much faster because of this, and his injuries became none existent. He pushed Young Bae back, and drove his knee straight into his gut.

Young Bae hissed, and tried to keep up with the rapid fire of attacks, but was unable to as blood started to flow out of his nose, and he felt chocked. He was sent back, and knocked to the wall, next to Seungri whom was struggling to get up.

Both of them huffed as they looked at each other.

“Young Bae…” Seungri said in small voice.

“I know…”

“Bombs away!” Ji Hoon called, and Ji Ho giggled as he left off some bombs to go off, and BOOM they landed right on the unmated couple.

Of course, before the bombs had reached them, Young Bae had thrown his body over Seungri’s to protect him, and held on tight, and thus he received the maximum blow right on his back. When the smoke cleared, Seungri’s cries sounded blood curling and heart wrenching.

Young Bae wasn’t responding.  

I know it's short ,but I decided to cut it here....for well, isn't it obvious?? Torture and well, There is still the Gtop Battle to begin. ^-^ I'll see you guys!
