The next day Daehyun texts me, saying he’ll pick me up at 3 outside the dorm so we can go to the mall too before dinner. I’m kind of skeptical, since it’d be suspicious if he were alone with me in the mall, since there could be rumors or something. But he says that Zelo and Himchan and a manager are going to go with, so I can ‘blend in’ with the manager and look like a coordi noona.

I’m actually excited. I haven’t talked to him… in two years, about. I’ve missed having my best friend around all the time.

It’s Saturday and EXO has no practice today, the manager giving them a free day for them to do whatever they want.

This basically translates to them sleeping in until one in the afternoon.
I sleep in until twelve when I wake up to my alarm, quickly turning it off so it doesn’t wake the others. I quietly make my way down the steps and peer over Kai, seeing if he’s still asleep. He is, his snoring slightly louder than usual.

I peek at Luhan too. He looks peaceful, his lips slightly pulled into a small smile. I ignore the small flutter as my heart takes off and make my way out of the room.

I guess I could make breakfast for them. A big one, too.

Or lunch, since it’s the afternoon.

Brunch!

I’ll make kimchi and pancakes and bacon and sausages. That’ll be a nice brunch.

I get to work immediately, wrapping D.O’s “Kiss the Chef” apron around my waist as I begin to fry the bacon, simultaneously mixing the pancake mix. I get the kimchi and sausages ready and set everything down once it’s all done onto the dining room table, admiring everything.

Just as I take off the apron, a door creaks open, and footsteps quietly creep down the hall. I look up and internally grimace.

“Hey.” I greet Sehun, and he nods in response, his face pulled in an automatic frown.

“What’s this?” He asks, referencing the food I made.

It’s horse , .

“Food. Eat up.”

He raises an eyebrow before plopping down in a seat, grabbing a ton of food and pouring it onto a plate.

I roll my eyes and head off to my room, sneaking in so as not to wake Kai or Luhan up. As I enter, I notice they’re already up, both of them talking from their respective beds.

“Lay morphed into a unicorn, then I rode him off into the su- Oh. H-Hey Eunji.” Luhan looks up, blushing slightly when I walk in.

I ignore his greeting. “When did Lay… morph into a unicorn?”

“It was a dream.”

I nod. “I made brunch!”

“Brunch?” Kai sits up.

“Breakfast and lunch. Brunch.”

“Brunch!” Luhan stands up, holding his fist in the air and he marches out of the room. I can’t help but notice his Totoro pajamas.

“Nice pajamas!” I call.

“DON’T JUDGE THEM!” I hear his voice from the dining room, along with the clattering of plates being moved around.

I climb up the bed and lay down, closing my eyes. I try ignoring Kai’s shadow as it looms over me, but after a minute or so I open an eye lazily. “What!”

“Thank you for making breakfast!” He grins cheekily and I make as if I were to kick him off. He flinches and I grin back.

“You’re welcome. Go away.” I lightly push his forehead away without shoving him off the ladder and he gets the hint, climbing down and leaving the room.

Yay.

Peace and quiet.

I hear more doors open and more feet pitter-patter their way to the food, more plates and glasses clinking around as they probably swallow everything in one bite, those hungry animals.

Another shadow peers over my closed eyes and I sigh. “Go away Kai.”

The shadow doesn’t respond nor leave and I open my eyes. “Kai, I said- Oh. Sorry Kris. I thought you were my brother.”

He smiles. “Aren’t you going to eat?”

“I’m not hungry yet.”

“You have to eat! You’re a growing girl.”

“You sound like my mother-“
I break off awkwardly, my insides tearing apart as I remember the fact that my mother’s gone.

I don’t have a mother.

Still waiting for the day that Kai’ll break down. He’s too strong to break down and cry right away though.

“You, uh, should still eat anyways.” Kris says, breaking the silence.

I shrug and sit up.

“Okay, whatever you say.”

“Sorry?”

“I said whatever you say.”

“Whatever you say…” He trails of, encouraging me by poking my knee. I roll my eyes. “Whatever you say oppa.”

He grins and pulls at my hand. “Let’s go!”

For a -faced angry bird, he’s kind of a sweetheart.

After breakfast, Chen offers to do the dishes for me and I decline, only for us to end up doings the dishes together after consistent arguing. I don’t care that I made breakfast. I can do the dishes too!

I should probably get ready. It’s almost 2 and I’m not even dressed yet. I’m still wearing my Hello Kitty pajamas and a loose shirt, my hair probably close to resembling a bird’s nest.

I change into my clothes and fix my hair, putting on a little bit of makeup. Not too much, I don’t want to look like the Joker.

I check my phone. It’s 2:30, and he said 3. Might as well sit around.

I plop down on the couch in the living room and stare at the blank TV. No one’s in here. They must be in their rooms.

Kai enters and upon seeing me, he grins. “You’re here! I have to show you something in the van.”

“What is it?” I sit up.

“You’ll see.” He makes to grab my wrist but I yank it out of his reach.

“Come on, you’ll like it! Put on some shoes though, the, uh, floor’s dirty.” He walks off to the door before I can say anything and I sigh, grabbing my shoes and slipping them onto my feet.

Kai leads me out and to the parking lot and I spot EXO’s van sitting there.

“What do you have to show me?”

“It’s inside. You’ll love it.” He says, grabbing my wrist and hopping over.

There better be a big box of candy or something in there.

Candy in a van.

Wow.

Not sketchy at all.

He opens the door and inside is not a big box of candy but instead all the EXO members.

“Hi Eunji!” Chanyeol greets me, waving a bit too energetically.

This is the surprise?

I turn towards Kai. “Huh?”

He smiles and grabs my shoulders from the back, shoving me into the van. I land on the closest seat next to Lay.

“Surprise!” Kai chirps, scooting me over so he can sit too. He shuts the door and the driver drives off.

Wh-

Did I just get kidnapped?

“Where are we going?” I poke Kai’s arm.

“It’s a surprise!” He grins and I roll my eyes.

What the hell.

What the pooping hell.

“How long will we be gone?”

Kai turns around to face the guys behind us and they shrug. “Dunno, few hours.”

My eyes almost pop out of their sockets. “I-I was going to do something later though!”

He raises an eyebrow. “What is there for you to do?”

“I was gunna go out with Daehyun!”

“Like a date?”

“No, just to talk-“

He swishes his hands, as if brushing off the moment. “Then just go another day or something.”

“But he-“

Kai grabs my phone which I’m clutching in one hand and he peers at it. “What’s his number?”

“Why do you need his number?”

He scrolls through my contacts and taps something, lifting my phone to his ear. “Hey Daehyun!”

Jerk.

I make a grab to get my phone but he dodges. I reach around both sides of his head, trying to grab my phone but he leans away, his head glued to the window.

“It’s Kai, I have Eunji’s phone. She can’t go wherever with you today.” He shoots me a grin. “She’s really sick.”

“I’m not sick!” I shout, and he covers the phone with his other hand, keeping Daehyun from hearing me.

I hear a giggle and whip around, staring down Baekhyun who’s next to Lay. He shuts up and looks away.

“Yeah, she’ll be better tomorrow I think. Okay. Yeah. See ya.” He taps the end button and hands me my phone.
I sulk into my seat. “Can you at least tell me where we’re going?”

“No.”

Hmph.

I turn around in my seat and look at Kris, smiling kindly. “Kris, where are we going?”

“Somewhere.” He replies blatantly, smirking slightly.

I drop my smile, just to grin at Lay next to me. “Where are we going?”

He shrugs. “You’ll find out in a little bit.”

Ugh.

Jerks.

I slump down in my seat and sigh.

Idea!

“Can we at least stop for food first? I didn’t eat anything.” I ask Kai.

He looks at me suspiciously before sighing. He knows me to well to know that I don’t just want food.

“Fine.” He scoots forward a little and taps the manager who’s driving on the shoulder. “Can we go to a restaurant first?” The manager agrees and we quickly pull into a Chinese restaurant. As soon as Kai gets out of the car I bolt past him and fling myself around the corner of the building, quickly jabbing at my phone. Thankfully, he answers after just two rings.

“Hello?”

“DAEHYUN, IT’S EUNJI! PLEASE HELP ME, I’M NOT-OOF” I can’t finish my sentence when Kai tackles me, sending both of us to the ground, my phone falling out of my grip. We both crawl towards it, Kai reaching it first.

“Sorry Daehyun. She’s doesn’t want to take the medicine I need to give her. Yeah. Bye.” Kai hangs up and grabs me by the legs, hauling me over his shoulder.

“WHAT THE-KAI LET GO OF ME” I ignore the looks I’m getting from people around us, squirming around in his grip, kicking my feet everywhere. He keeps walking, practically throwing me in the van.

“Hyung, can you take us straight there? Turns out we’re not hungry.” Kai shoots me a look and I merong at him.

“You’re really sneaky.” D.O says, his eyes wide.

“Yeah yeah, let’s just go.” I mumble, the manager shooting us all a look before driving away from the restaurant, back onto the road.

Jerks.

Meanies.

Pooheads.

Sigh.

I lean my head back, falling asleep as I’m sure the rest of the guys are too, soft snores coming from the rows of seats behind me.

“Wake up.”

No.

“Wake up, Eunji.”
I don’t want to.

“Eunji.”
I’m comfy.

“Eunji.”

Go away.

“KIM EUNJI WAKE UP YOU LAZY KOALA”

I open my eyes, irritated. “What.”

“We’re here.” Kai pokes me. “Get off Lay’s shoulder.”

I’m on Lay’s shoulder?

He has a soft shoulder.

No wonder I’m so comfy.

I lift my head up. “Sorry Lay.”

“It’s fine.” He smiles kindly. “And I’m oppa.”

“You at calling us oppa.” Kris comments from behind and I shoot him a glare.

“That’s because I’m her only oppa.” Kai grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the van. I immediately gasp when my eyes focus on my surroundings and grin.

“Lotte World? Seriously?!” I start hopping, gripping onto Kai’s arm. He grins.

“Yep.”

“LOTTE WORLD, MY OLD FRIEND” Xiumin runs out of the van, his arms up in the air as he speeds towards the entrance.

“Let’s go before the bun gets lost.” Tao says, and we head off after the hyperactive bun.

Okay so I feel like I've been slacking the past few chapters. They've been shorter and not as interesting and kind of straying from where it should be going. So! I'm going to try to write better and make sure that every chapter doesn't trail away from the main stuff.

Also, sorry about my major spazzing in the last chapter, I was too unbelievably excited about 6jib(for those that were asking, 6jib is Super Junior's 6th album :]) and I couldn't contain myself lol
