The one that got away
Sibling love.I shuffled my way to the kitchen in my bedroom slippers to do the laundry. I blinked repeatedly to get a clear vision of the clock which was above me. It was 4am.
I couldn't get any sleep. I kept tossing in bed, without a clue of what to do next. I just prayed for her happiness.
Knowing JiNa's temper, I figured that she would be locked up in her room for days. I heard the sound of metals shackling against the windows, so I decided to investigate where the sound came from.
It came from JiNa's room.
The door was half opened. I pushed the door further and saw JiNa carrying a backpack, attempting to escape from the window of our one story house.
"JINA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I shouted in sheer concern as I ran towards the window and grabbed her wrist.
"LET. ME. GO." JiNa demanded. She glared at me with eyes that shone with hatred and disappointment.
"Come back! It's a dangerous world out there! Running away won't solve anything!" I protested. The thought of her leaving seemed pointless and heart wrenching although I did understand why she would want to. But this was her home. She had never left home without us.
"I'm sorry, oppa.. I must go.." she said apologetically as she hugged me and gave me a peck on my cheek. And with that, she ran off into the dark streets.
I couldn't stop her. I knew her too well. If I did, she might never return. I knew this was just a goodbye. But for how long?
She never did have many friends, so her places to stay are limited. I stood by the window with the cold morning wind kissing my face also blowing through my hair. My eyes were dried up. Tears wanted fall but there were none left.
I looked at her figure fading into black as I whispered, "Take care."

Hehe, I'll be writing JiNa's POV in the next chapter. I'm sorry if my story is boring you. I promise the upcoming chapters will be more exciting! ^^
