Crash

Sunday, one hour before the surprise

“Oh My Goodness, HaeRin!! Why didn’t you tell me before? Listen, he’s going to ask you for dating!” Eun Yong’s loud voice echoed inside HaeRin’s room since she set the call into loudspeaker.

“Impossible. Your imagination is so high, you should write a book.” Said HaeRin while matching clothes. she took a white dress, put it on her body and put it back on her wardrobe. It’s too sweet to go to a dance studio.

“You owe me a big bowl of Baskin Robin if he asks you for dating, underline that!” then she hung up. HaeRin shrugged her shoulder and continue choosing clothes. She took her favorite skinny jeans and oversized tee. She brought her hair up and made it into a bun. Didn’t know what’s gotten inside her, she walked to the bus stop cheerfully.

10 minutes later her bus arrived. She hoped onto the bus and stood, since the seats were occupied. Lucky the dance studio wasn’t that far, it only took one stop. She jumped out of the bus when it reached her destination. She looked up and searched Crave dance studio. She spotted a big orange banner with a big C letter written on that across the road.

She glanced left and right before crossing the road. Unfortunately, when she was in the middle of crossing a road, a big truck in high speed drifted. She couldn’t help but crashed.

“AAAARRGHHH!”

BRAAAKKK!

A loud crash happened, people around there gasped and circling her. She was bleeding a lot.

“Excuse me! Excuse me!” Someone tried to go through the crowd. “HAERIN!!” It was Sehun. He hurriedly asked people around him to lift her and brought her into the car. A light brown haired guy was waiting on the driver seat while listening to the local radio.

“Luhan hyung, open the lock!” Sehun shouted. Luhan jolted and quickly unlock the car, he was shocked because Sehun and a stranger brought an unconscious bleeding girl inside his car. “Who the heck is she?” Luhan asked sarcastically.

“Remember HaeRin? Lucky I asked you to stop the car hyung, I had a bad feeling before and it’s true.” He told Luhan and closed the door. He thanked the guy who helped him before and bowed politely. “Hurry! we have no time, hyung!” Luhan nodded and drove as fast as possible to the nearest hospital.

On the other hand, Jongin was waiting her inside the dance studio. He already prepared everything from the dinner, decoration, and even flower! He kept glancing outside the window worriedly, he had a bad feeling about this. He checked his phone but she didn’t called nor text him. He bit his lower lip and looking outside the window. There’s no sign of her yet. He sat on the couch and sighed.

BRAAAAKKKK

He jolted and went to the window. *A crash?* he wondered. *No, don’t say it’s HaeRin. It couldn’t be.*

“Crap!” he hurriedly ran to check whether it was HaeRin or not. It took a while from him since he was in the third floor. He quickly dashed out of the building, until his lungs feel like burned but he was late.

“Where’s the girl? Is she okay?” He tried to ask to the people around there but all of them said they didn’t know.

“Are you looking for the girl who was crashed?” A middle aged woman poked Jongin’s back. He turned and nodded. “Where is she?”

“I don’t know. A blonde guy brought her, she was bleeding a lot. I shivered when I saw her dripping blood. And ah, his height is nearly the same as yours. Good luck, young man.” she gave a lot of information, Jongin tried to think who was as tall as him and blonde. *Couldn’t it be… him?*

HaeRin was saved. The doctor said if they were late for 15 minutes she might be passed away because she ran out of blood. Sehun and Luhan sighed in relief, they were afraid not to be able to save HaeRin. Sehun put HaeRin’s bag on his lap and bite the bread that Luhan brought from him before. They were talking to each other while waiting for the next result from the doctor.

“Hot hot hot summer~”

“Sehun-a, is that your phone? I never knew that you like f(x)!” Luhan bursted into laughter. Sehun stared him and picked his phone, it was not ringing. Luhan stopped laughing and cocked his head.

“HaeRin’s!” they shouted at the same time. “Ya, hurry pick it up.” Luhan gestured him to pick up the phone. He quickly searched that electronic gadget and picked it on the last ring.

“Yoboseo?”

“Ah Jongin? Yeah, don’t worry she’s safe. She’s still unconscious right now but she’s okay. We’re at St. Mary hospital right now, can you come over? Luhan hyung and I need to settle this matter to the police.”

“Great, come here as soon as possible.”

“It’s Jongin? Can he make it here?” Luhan asked him when he hung up.

Sehun nodded and glanced at the clock. “Yeah, I hope he will be here soon.”

“SEHUN! LUHAN HYUNG!” they looked to the direction where someone called their name.

“Jongin-ah! Here!” Luhan gestured him to come there.

He darted to Sehun and Luhan, he asked where HaeRin was.

“We’re waiting for the result, the doctor is taking care of her right now. Here, drink, you pant so hard.” Luhan handed him a bottle of water and patted his shoulder.

“Thanks, hyung. I owe both of you.” Jongin exhaled deeply, he was worried of her condition.

“No no no, you should thank Sehun. He’s the one who asked me to stop the car. We have to go, Jongin. Take care of her and yourself!” Luhan patted his shoulder once again and leave.

“Sehun, thank you so much. I really owe you something.”

“Just give her to me. See you.”
