Chapter 9
~Three months later~
Kyuhyun and I grew closer for the past months, we always eat lunch together and when we have free time we would hang out just like today, we’ll go somewhere; he said it’s a surprise. I also learned that he’s the opposite of what I think of him. He’s actually nice, kind, caring, loving and his weakness is children; he once took me to an orphanage of children who have cancer. He really has a good heart. Anyways, until now, I’m still receiving that pink flower everyday in my locker, I asked my suitors about it and they all denied that they are the one who’s giving it to me. I even asked Kibum about it but he said he’s not the one doing that. I wonder who that mystery guy is. Speaking of Kibum he’s calling. He already moved on, FYI, and I can see that they’re very happy with each other
“Bummiee~!”
I said happily on the line.
“Hyun. I-I-She-We-we broke up with me”
He said stuttering and in a low voice.
“What?! Why?!”
I yelled
“Well, I don’t know how to say this but I-I’m going to fly to America after graduation and she said---”
“Wait, what?! You’re going to fly, where?! America?! How come I don’t know?!”
I cut him off and yelled.
“Yes, I’m sorry Hyun it’s a must for me. I’ll be handling our business soon; I gotta fly there and study”
I felt like tearing up; my friend’s leaving me!
“*sigh. But that’s five days from now, bummie.”
“Yes, it is, Hyun. But I have to go, I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, Bummie. What did she say by the way?”
“She said she doesn’t believe in long distance relationship.”
“Want to meet up?”
“But you and Kyuhyun will go out right?”
He asked. Oh my! I completely forgot about Kyuhyun. But Bummiee needs me more than Kyu right now, might as well cancel our trip.
“I’ll just cancel it; you need me more than him right now.”
“You sure?”
“Hmm... I’m sure he’ll understand.”
“Ok, just meet me in the park”
I nodded and hung up. I prepared myself and called Kyu
“Hey, seo. Ready for later?”
“Ah, about that, Can we cancel it kyu?”
I asked. I feel really guilty right now!
“Huh? Oh, okay”
“Really?”
“yeah”
He said but I can trace sadness in his voice.
“Kyu, I’m really, really, really sorry. I’ll make it up to you next time, Kay? Something just came up. Sorry.”
“Seo, its okay, I promise. We can go there next time. ”
“Where are we going anyway?”
“Secret”
He said teasingly. I bid goodbye to him and proceeded to the cab outside to meet Kibum
~at the park
“Hey”
I said tapping his shoulder from behind. He looked up and bitterly smiled.
“Are you okay?”
He looked up and I got a tear as an answer. I mentally hit myself.
“Of course he’s not okay! Pabo! He has to leave all of you behind because he has a dream to catch. Then add that he and his girlfriend broke up!”
There’s a silence between the two of us, until I heard a sigh. I looked at Kibum to see a waterfall in his eyes (exaggerating much xD).
“Let’s eat~”
I whined. He looked at me and laughed
“You finally laughed!!!!!”
I yelled. He covered his ears with his hand and laughed
“You should stop shouting, ya’ know?”
I laughed then whined.
“I’m hungry~! Let’s eat there”
I pointed to the nearest food store I see. Kona Beans
“~hahaha Kaja!”
We arrived at the restaurant and we found a seat. Kibum got back to his sad world. I don’t know what to do!
“Yah! Cheer up! It’s our date remember?”
I teased.
“Yah! Who said it’s a date?”
He smiled! He finally smiled!
“What date?”
Someone asked, I can hear anger from his voice. I was terrified when I saw who it was, Kyuhyun, with a very dark aura…
“Kyuhyun”
Was the only thing I said, I was cut off by him dragging me somewhere leaving Kibum behind. He entered a room and throws me somewhere, I hit the wall. I was scared of Yesung so I didn’t say anything.
“What date are you talking about?”
He said in a low voice with the aura that can kill, I kept my silence. I’m scared!
“Why do you care?”
I mumbled, my answer didn’t turn out good. He looked at me; I can see his angry eyes. He laughed sarcastically and said
“Yeah, Why do I even care?!”
He chuckled, making me confuse.
“I have to go now”
He held my arm
“You’re not going anywhere”
He whispered, What the Heck?! I want to cry.
“What are you doing?! Let me go!”
I said but he held me tighter…
“I said you’re not going anywhere!”
He shouted. I shivered. I kept a distance from him but I didn’t leave the group
“Did you cancel our trip for you to have a date with him?”
He asked. What will I answer?
“N-no”
“Liar”
He came closer. I stepped back
“Are you dating him?”
“No”
“Liar”
He said the take a step to come closer. I took another step back, I got pissed off. He’s asking me something then he won’t believe?
“What’s the point of asking if you’re not going to believe me? And why do you care?!”
I said. He gave me a deathly glare. Then he come closer, another step back.
“Are you really that numb?”
He asked. Then he came closer. I took a step back my heart’s racing!
“What?”
“Don’t you feel it?”
He came closer this time I’m trapped in the wall. He put his hands on the wall cornering me. Uh-Oh
“F-feel what?”
I stuttered. Oh My Goodness!! My heart will blow up any minute now. His face is centimetres away from mine.
“Why do you think I always ask you to lunch every day?”
He said. Yeah, we always eat together when it’s lunch time.
“Why do you think I always choose you as my partner?”
He continued.
“And…Why do you think I’ll leave pink rose in locker every day?”
He asked. I’m shocked. All this time he’s the one doing that?
“Because I LOVE YOU Seo JooHyun”
I was shocked by the sudden confession! OMG! He loves me too?! What the Heck?! Then he hugged me I can feel the dark aura is gone. I hugged back. This is one of the most memorable experiences in my life. I wish this won’t end, He loves me too. Cho Kyuhyun loves me too… <3
