"Joy please go call your mother, tell her there's a meeting in 30 minutes, tell her to be ready."

Rosé could barely sleep, she doesn't know why. She is now on a call with Joy at 8 in the morning.

"Just go and call her yourself." Joy says while yawning, it seems as if she just woke up.

Rosé should go and call her but she just doesn't want to see Wendy after what happened last night. She knows she has no reason not to see Wendy, after all the latter didn't do anything wrong but she just can't. She called Joy for the same reason.

"I have other important things to attend to, please Joyieee, the prettiest girl in the world."

"No."

"Pwetty pweassee." Rosé tries to act cute and it works.

"Fine." After a pause, she adds. "Oh and I'll be starting school from today, that's fine right?"

"Yeah, of course, but I'm surprised you're starting this early." When Joy says nothing, Rosé just hangs up and assumes the younger has already fallen asleep again.

Rosé goes to the washroom and takes a bath. She wears her formal attire and fixes her hair. All of that takes about 35 minutes so she gets out of her room, to go to the meeting hall.

She enters the hall to see almost everyone, except Lisa, already seated in their places. She wonders if Lisa will just not attend the first meeting where they decide everything.

"Now that everyone is here, we should just start." Wendy is sitting at one end of the big table, looking at some files.

"What about Lisa?" Mina asks in the smallest voice possible.

"She texted me saying she can't attend, Rosé will just fill her in later." Wendy says, now standing but still looking at the files.

"Should we just start Rosé?"

Rosé texted everyone to be at the meeting room by 8.30 because the CEO told her that they should decide some things as soon as possible.

"I think CEO would be coming, we should wait." Rosé says, not looking at Wendy but at the table.

Just then the door opens and she sees a woman. Not just a woman, but Kang Seulgi.

She quickly glances over at Wendy and when she sees the older not looking at anyone but the floor, she knows it's her time to talk again. So she moves up from her chair and greets Kang Seulgi.

"Oh uh hi Ms. Kang, I didn't know you'll be joining us." Rosé says nonchalantly.

"I didn't either, Ji-Hoon called me in the morning and told me to attend the meeting. I hope that's okay with you." Seulgi says while scratching her temples.

"Why wouldn't it?" Rosé flashes a smile but then looks at Wendy. She wants to ask Wendy that question but she knows she can't do anything.

"She's so hot." Sana mumbles but almost everyone hears. She earns glares from everybody and a kick on her foot by Dahyun. "Acckkk! I- uhh mean....uhh...it's so hot."

Sana fans herself with her hands dramatically. Rosé looks at Ms. Kang who shows no expression, she moves and they all sit down except for Rosé, who moves and stands just next to Wendy's seat.

"Ms. Kang we looked at your company's stats and everything and we thought about ideas." Rosé starts of, and Ms. Kang just nods.

"So first of all, we'll obviously be providing a platform for your artists on our own show. Other than that, we'll obviously put our separate advertisements on Spotify and other platforms, we'll shoot all of these and- "

"Ms. Park we've all heard these same ideas tons of times, I expected some more from your company. We need to spread our business internationally. I'm afraid this won't do." Ms.Kang says starting right at Rosé.

Rosé is not used to this. She can't stand everyone staring at her, even if it's people she's known for years. She is now starting to feel nervous again. She can't help it. She looks at Ms. Kang then at the floor, then at Wendy. Wendy still has her head down.

She has to, she has to speak, for Wendy.

She then feels warmth on her fingers, she glances down to see Wendy's hand on her hand.

"Go on, chipmunk." These three words from Wendy are enough. Enough for her to regain her composure.

"Ms. Kang we also thought about many other ideas. Look we can launch your artists' series, they'll just be minimalistic. Some can just go to youtube while others to actual television. Other than this, deals with popular food brands, like the ones famous internationally. Our writers have many more ideas, so just give us a try. We promise we won't disappoint."

They discuss a lot of other things and how everything would proceed, the whole team inputs their decisions and they finally come to the consensus of what to shoot right after. Wendy doesn't speak much and never directly to Ms. Kang.

Joy is at her school. She doesn't know anything about this school. It's very different from her original school in Canada. She's attended her morning classes and it's lunch break now, she's sitting alone at a table in the cafeteria.

Even though she's the most carefree and friendly girl, she hasn't talked to a single soul until now, and she doesn't think she will.

A voice pulls her out of her thoughts.

"Why would you join school right in the middle of the year?"

She sees a girl, probably younger than her, with big eyes and cute red cheeks.

"Umm Hi! I'm Joy." She says almost as a reflex of meeting a new person.

"Did I ask?"

Joy frowns, this girl was really rude. Joy had just gotten hope that she can finally talk to humans and maybe make friends but this girl was clearly not a normal human.

"Why so rude? I'm just here for a couple of months, my mother has work."

"Whatever, Ms. Jung told me to give you a tour, I really don't want to but it's that or detention, so let's go?"

Before Joy could even answer the girl just turns and starts moving, Joy can't help but follow her.

They exit the cafeteria and are now walking in the hallway. None of them say a word. But Joy kind of wants to talk.

"You know you don't have to do this, I'll just tell Ms. Jung that you gave me a tour or whatever, if she even asks me."
