Weeks went by easily.

Rosé didn't even realise they'd finished some of thier projects, but Lisa's loud shriek was enough for her to be reminded they were done for today.

Just then Ji-Hoon walked on set, first looking at the set, then staring right at Rosé which made her squirm.

"Guys! Great work today as well." He claps and soon enough the others join him. "So today, I'm here to tell you guys to like chill a bit. I mean like take a little break."

"Oh thank god! Sir, by any chance could you be our boss?"  bows Hyunjin at Ji-Hoon in a weird manner. Wendy glares at him and he cowers.

"Oh really, Hyunjin? You're on the main camera duty from now on. Take Yoongi's place." Wendy chuckles as Hyunjin dramatically falls to the ground and pretends to be unconscious.

"Yes! I'll just let everyone know I love Wendy. She's the best boss ever." Yoongi announces as he makes his way to Hyunjin's place.

"No but I'm serious, Wendy. Everyone should get a well deserved break, have fun, party, visit places-"

"Sometimes I forget you're a CEO Ji-Hoon. You literally love partying like it's your child." Wendy laughs and Lisa cackles. Rosé could even hear Mina laugh a little. "But I guess you're right, we'll take a break, guys! Enjoy yourselves! And get back to work in a better condition."

The room fills up with loud noises and hoots.

"Uhh guys I think- umm these sequence uhh Chaeng..."

Sana gestures Rosé to take a look and she sighs as she sees that they're actually not done for today.

The noise soon turns into whines.

Lisa slumps back in her chair and looks at her watch. It's already 9.20 in the night and everybody except her and Sana had left.

"What are you upto?" Lisa makes alot of effort to stand up and move like 50 centimetres to side beside Sana.

"Just finishing up extra work."

Lisa shrugs. "I won't stop you but if you overwork yourself and if I don't see my party-loving animal Sana back soon, I will turn violent."

Sana giggles and keeps on writing something. Lisa has known Sana for a long time now and because of both of thier social personalities, they became good friends real quick.

"Babe, get some sleep, okay?" Lisa runs her hand through Sana's hair. "Oh and Rosé has been helping you out well right? You need more help, something I can help with, let me kno-"

They're distracted by a loud noise and they look back to see Seulgi trying to pul her leg out of a certain prop on set.

"S-sorry I-I didn't wanna...uhh disturb you but I kind of fell and I can't really....figure out how to- how to..." Seulgi looks down at her leg and Lisa understands it's stuck.

Ahh...this clumsy lady.

Sana is about to get up to help her but Lisa stops her seeing she has too much work to do and she should also go sleep considering the bags under her eyes.

"What did I say? Go. sleep." Lisa taps the other's shoulder twice.

Sana mumbles something incoherent but gets up and gives an apologetic smile to Seulgi but hurriedly picks up her stuff and leaves. At least five yawns leaving before she reaches the door and shuts it after leaving.

It's just her and Seulgi.

Seulgi who's currently stuck in a black box type of a thing, Lisa doesn't even know who bought that.

Is that even a prop?

Lisa makes her way to the older and gently tries to pull her leg out. When she fails she goes to the other side, takes Seulgi's shoes off and then pulls her leg out.

She then gets her shoe back, kneels down and tries to put the shoe back in her newly free leg. No words are exchanged.

"Lisa, I can do it."

Lisa doesn't listen and completes the job at hand. She finishes tying the lace and then claps the dust off her hands.

She now stands face to face with Seulgi.

Her little crush.

But the catch is, a little crush should be vanished by now, she didn't even turn her eyes to see Seulgi during work. She never went to the practice room, but one look now is enough for her feelings to come rushing back.

Well, feelings.

"Lisa I was wondering if uhh you- you have b-break I heard. Maybe we can- you can practice now?" Seulgi sounds nervous, but looks straight at Lisa.

No, Lisa can't be tempted now. No matter how cute and innocent Seulgi looks she can't just give in.

"Seulgi, I already told you I don't wanna anymore."

The sadness that takes over cute Seulgi can kill Lisa. Seulgi didn't do anything wrong, it's her who is at fault.

If her stupid wouldn't have liked Seulgi, this wouldn't be happening.

"I can't understand. You were happy the...the last time we practiced. Did someone say something? Did I do something-"

"No, Seul, I just- I don't know."

Seulgi moves forward and places her hand on Lisa's shoulder.

"Lisa, you can tell me if anything's wrong."

Lisa instantly jerks back at the touch. She absolutely can't have Seulgi this close to her, absolutely not.

"Why do you even want me to come there and practice?" Lisa huffs as she looks away from Seulgi. She knows her tone is rude but she can't help it, if she goes all soft, she'd forget Seulgi is in a relationship.

"You're an amazing dancer Lisa. I've seen that in you. I just thought you know I could train you a bit more. And also..." Seulgi stops, hesitating.

"And also what?"

"I-I thought we were....friends. You- you're fun to hang out with, and..and you don't know but you've taught me alot of new techniques. I'm too technical but you've made me realise the importance of not being that all the time while dancing." Seulgi smiles. "I can't help it, I have to look at new dancers and evaluate thier abilities and teach them and...and I think I became too technical over time, I had nobody to remind me to just let go and not care sometimes. To just..you know, have fun while dancing."

Lisa looks up at Seulgi and sees the woman trying to find words to explain her point, but Lisa has understood already.

And she can't refuse anymore, not after knowing how Seulgi feels. If Lisa can help her in any little thing in her dancing, she will. She gladly will.

"I'm sorry...I-I don't wanna force you."
 

Also Seulgi called her a friend. If that's all she can be, that's fine.

If Seulgi considers her a friend and needs help, she'll do that. She'll just never forget her limits.
 

And if she falls deeper, she won't regret it.

Lisa grins widely. would probably break if she stretches it anymore.

"Let's go have some fun then."

"I hope you know it's not going to be a break for you, Chaeyoung." Ji-Hoon scrunches his face after reading something in the file. He's probably annoyed. "We still need to look for openings for Jennie."

The way Ji-Hoon was staring at her earlier was not for nothing, turns out. As soon as he made the announcement he dragged Rosé out of the room to his office.

"We? The company's going to help?"

"Of course, I'd even talk to directors personally. Many of them know Jennie, despite her image right now, they know hardly any of it is true." Ji-Hoon takes his glasses off and wipes them with his shirt. "We just have to find one that isn't a coward."

Just then his phone rings and he smiles after seeing the caller ID. He picks up almost in a hurry, and turns his face away and moves in the opposite direction from Rosé to talk to whoever's on the line.

Rosé doesn't want to eavesdrop, not that she could, she couldn't hear anything except from little happy sounds here and there.

She only notices when Ji-Hoon turns around and has this excited expression on his face and he mouths while still listening to the caller, 'Call Jennie. Right now.'

Rosé does as instructed, scrambling for Jennie's contact info. Just then she realises she's doesn't have it. It's funny how they worked on stuff related to the photoshoot for two days and Rosé doesn't even have Jennie's number. She hurriedly messages Lisa who doesn't seem to see the message. She ultimately calls Lisa.

"Lisa quickly send me Jennie's number, okay?" She's almost about to hang up but she hears Lisa pant.

"Wait wait wait, why do you need it?" The mocking tone doesn't go unnoticed.

"This is not a time to tease me bruh! Just send it to me."

"Ooohhh finally realised about your little crush huh..."

I'll kill her if I see her.

"Lalisa Manoban."

"Okay okay, don't go all 'Lalisa Manoban' on me. I'll also send you some cute pictures of her, maybe some pickup lines considering you're so bad at it."

"I'll kill y-"

The line is cut.

She can imagine Lisa smirking as she sends the stuff she didn't even ask for.

She soon gets the contact and calls the number, Jennie picks up after the third ring.

"Hello?" Rosé suddenly becomes shy.

"Yeah?" Jennie's voice sounds cute.

How can a voice sound cute? God damn it!

"Hi Jennie, this is....uhh Rosé. Ji-Hoon is calling you in his office right now." She pushes it all out in one breath.

"I'll be there."

Jennie just hangs up, no talk, no 'oh I didn't have your number', 'I'll save it now', or whatever you're supposed to say.

Jennie arrives in no time whatsoever, with Ji-Hoon still on call.

She greets Rosé with a smile, it's been happening alot more often now.

Seeing Jennie smile. And Rosé loves it.

"Is..is it something bad?" Jennie shifts her weight from one leg to the other.

Rosé calmly smiles. "No, it's definitely something good, with the way he was jumping up and down."

Jennie giggles, her little teeth showing. And Rosé sees her cutest gummy smile for the second time. She just keeps looking at her, but Ji-Hoon's voice startles her.
