Yam just got home from school, she's walking towards the front door and saw her mother anxiously standing there waiting for her. She knows because it's always been like this. When her mom spotted her she's already smiling warmly and called out for her as she then hug her. "Are you alright? How's school?" her mother asks as they also entered the house. "It's okay mom... I also got a friend" Yam smiled shyly because it's her first time she got one.

Her mother then happily cheered for her as they walk towards the living room. Her father was there seated to an armchair looking at an invitation that was placed on the glass table. Noticing them her father also called out to her to go to her spot , when she got near her father hugged her and told her to sit down. "How was the day of our little princess ? hm?" said her father sweetly as he also pinch her cheeks.

Yam just look down being shy, even if they always do this she's still shy around them and her mom was the one who answered her father in her stead "She got a new friend she said!" she said cheerfully and that made her father laugh, saying "Ah! I thought she got a boyfriend!" her father teased as they continue to talk.

"I baked cookies awhile ago, let's eat it while it is still warm." said her mom as she also stand up to get it in the kitchen. Her father then said "Do you want to come with us? We have a gathering tonight, it's one of our partners and it's his birthday, so they sent us an invitation." as her father lift up the invitation. She shook her head and say shyly "I don't want to go.."
