"Hyung." Daniel oppa called to Jisung oppa, who only nodded and waved his hand. "Just call me when you get home," he said. I looked at them both, Daniel oppa clucking his tongue at his hyung then taking my hand and hailing a taxi. "Where are we going?" I asked him, feeling nervous and a little scared. "Your house. Where else?" He smiled. Ok...

We had just arrived from our 2-day trip from Busan and it's currently 11 pm. I would take the bus home, but there are no more buses running at this hour. From the looks of it, Daniel oppa plans to take me home. Not necessary, but I'll let him be.

When we got inside the cab that he managed to hail, I checked my time and at my screen that showed my schedule for tomorrow. Which was, obviously, free. Taking my phone away from my hand, Daniel oppa put it inside his coat's pocket and instead held my hand.

"Why are you so cheeky tonight?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him. He put his hand by my ear and whispered, "I'm not going home tonight." My eyes widened and I immediately crossed my arms in front of my chest. "ert." He said, flicking his finger on my forehead. Wincifromron the pain, I rubbed my forehead then gasped. "I'm just gonna tuck you to bed and I'll go." He said, pinching my cheek. "And who says I'm letting you go in my house?" I asked. "Me. Of course." He said, shrugging me off. I stared at him, with narrowed eyes and a very suspicious look. But I didn't bother asking. I'll just talk to him later when we get home.

Soon we arrived and we got out of the cab, not forgetting to say our thanks and to pay for our fare.

I took out my keys, standing in front of the door. Just as I was about to unlock the door, I turned to him who was standing tall and close behind me, with our bags in his left hand. "You don't need to-" before I could finish, he kissed me on my lips, swiftly reaching behind me and unlocking the door. "I will tuck you to bed and you can't stop me." He said, kissing me once more on my forehead before heading inside. So much kisses... I sighed, smiling and putting my heart at ease. Despite him being stubborn and annoying right now, he still managed to make my heart flutter. No one can really stop this man...

Taking off my coat, I folded it and placed it by my couch. Plopping down beside him, who had his arm spread open for me to enter. After a few minutes of silence, He looked at me as I turned to look at him as well. "What did my mom tell you?" He asked. I laughed. I thought he'd never ask. "I knew it." I said, standing up. But he took my hands and pulled me down back beside him on the couch. He wrapped his arms around me, resting one leg on top of mine to stop me from leaving.

"Tell me." he said, with all seriousness in his voice and facial expression. I shook my head no and laughed once again. He whined, making me laugh harder. I patted his knee, pushing it down and standing up. "Let me change my clothes first, then we can talk."

Our vacation in Busan was actually a 2 days and 1 night trip. During the day, since Daniel oppa's mother was at work, we had the opportunity of going around and touring around Busan on our own. No problem for that though since we had Daniel oppa. Although he practically lived here most of his life, a lot of his memories of this place changed. It's been almost 4 years since he last lived in Busan, and a lot of things have changed, according to him.

At night, we had the chance to enjoy a home cooked feast by Daniel oppa's mother. Totally unexpected and not necessary, but we were very grateful for the courtesy. Daniel oppa's mother really is an angel. No wonder Daniel oppa has good manners, it's because his mother was just as refined. Despite the intimidating tension in the beginning, we slowly warmed up to her because she treated us so much like her own. She's just that much of a people's person. She's warm, kind, and funny. It brought me to tears when we had to part ways at the train station back to Seoul. But I'll get back to that later.

Since today is Saturday, today is also Kang eommonim's day-off, and sadly, our last day in Busan as well. During the day, she let the boys go and do the grocery while we stayed at home. Just us two. Surprisingly, I was glad and excited that we would get to spend the morning together. I remember talking to her about my family, my life. We also talked about Daniel oppa, what he was like growing up, how she feels about his choices as his mother. Choosing to be with me included....

"I'm not against you two. But I hope that you two would take things slow. As much as we don't want to admit it, everyone is eyeing him. I keep track of Daniel and what people say of him, I don't want anything adding up to what can cause a fire. We usually don't talk about it, because I don't want him to know that I know a lot about what people say. I'm his mother. Naturally, I will always worry about him...." I was quiet. Taking in everything she was saying. It made me start to reflect on our relationship. I too didn't want to rush anything. And I know that this time is very crucial for his career. I guess, emotions won me over this time.

"...But I trust him enough to take responsibility of every decision he makes."  She calmly explained. I sat there in silence, listening to her. I was speechless. I understand how she feels and what she wants to say, but I couldn't give her reassuring words or just words for that matter.

"Seeing Daniel in your presence, I'm guessing that he made the right one with you." She said. I looked up at her, shocked. I did not expect that..."Also, thank you for always looking out for my Daniel. It really puts me at ease knowing he has you and his friends." I smiled. I covered my blushing face, shocked with her words.

"Thank you. Eommonim. I promise to protect him the best I can. I know how hard you raised him and I don't want to be the cause for him breaking. I'll be careful, for your sake and his." I said. She held my hand and patted it lightly, giving me a thankful smile.

Just then, the boys came back with the groceries. Daniel oppa looked worried because he came in the kitchen where we were, looking serious and utterly curious about us. Eommonim was the first to stand up and went over to the other two, patting her son's shoulder before passing by him. I remember the face he made when it was only us two left in the kitchen while they were all in the living room. "Everything is okay, right?" He asked, walking towards me and combing my hair with his fingers. I nodded silently, showing him a smile before following everyone in the living room, where we prepared for lunch.

The rest of the day, we went around much further outside the center of the city. We went around exploring the provincial and city part of Busan, from the shop-filled streets to the beach. Then we went back to the city where we had barbecue for dinner, Daniel oppa's treat of course. Soon after, we went back to the house and stayed there for a while, before we left again to head to the train station.

When we arrived, there were only 10 minutes before we boarded the train. We all had our turns, saying our goodbyes to Daniel oppa's mother, who took us in for 2 days. Me, being the last to bid her goodbye.

"Eommonim, thank you for everything." I said, bowing to her in respect. She smiled at me, took my hand, and held it. What she said next were the words that really struck me. "I'm happy he chose you.".....

"Now I know why he made his choice. I hope to see you again, Eun. I sincerely hope to see you again in the future." She said, talking lowly and softly as she held my hand tightly. I smiled at her, feeling teary and warm. She laughed at my teary eyed look before taking me in her arms. I too, wrapped my arms around her, feeling the warm of a mother, one that I haven't felt in a long time.

"You take care. I'll visit you kids soon,"she said. I nodded, because I was afraid that If I talked now I would bawl. Letting go of the hug, we all bid her goodbye before getting in the train leaving for Seoul.

Looking up at the mirror in front of me, I shook away the slight feeling of spacing out. I took my shirt, rolled it up to my elbows, before the door suddenly opened.

"What's taking you so-" My eyes widened at the reflection of Daniel oppa holding the handle to my now open door. By reflex, I quickly turned away from him while he covered his eyes. "I-In my defense, I knocked twice." He said. I laughed out of shock, quickly putting on my shirt. I looked at the mirror once again, checking that I was covered before going to where he stood. Holding back my laughter, I looked at him covering his eyes with his other hand. I removed his hand from the handle of my door, making him flinch in shock.

"I'm covered." I said. He peeked down at me before sighing in relief. I walked past him and down to the living room. Sitting on the couch, I took the pillow beside me and hugged it. Daniel oppa walked around the table and sat beside me, by the other edge. We sat there in silence, before he broke it.

"You have a tattoo?" He asked. I blinked. "You saw that?" I asked, shocked that he saw my small tattoo. "Your back was in the open." He said. I narrowed my eyes at him, when he looked away cause of embarassment. I laughed again. "You want to see it?" I asked him. "No need." He said, quickly waving his arms. I laughed again, harder this time. "It's fine really." I said. I turned my back to him and pulling down my sleeve to show him my right shoulder. "Woah. It's pretty." He said. I blinked in nervousness, when I felt his breath near the nape of my neck.

"It's a lavender." He said after a while, fixing my shirt for me and covering my tattoo. "Besides the fact that it's pretty, it means femininity and grace. Something that I still want to grow on me. Hence the soil in the pot." I explained. He laughed, turning me around to face him. "Sometimes you make me wonder if I'm the girl in our relationship." He said. I turned my back to him again and laughed. Leaning back my head on his lap, I looked up at him and smiled.

"But then you smile at me like that and it all comes back to me that you're the girl. Cause you have a very girly smile." He laughed, pinching my cheek. "and you remind me of a cute puppy." I said, smiling back at him. "Did you know that your smile is really infectious?" He said. I blinked. "Wow. You're the only person who's ever said that to me." I
