Her last semester made her exhausted. Every weekend Chaeyoung had to meet with her supervisor regarding her final year project. Chaeyoung had spent her morning meeting her supervisor in the faculty. It was already noon, Chaeyoung felt so tired and hungry. She wanted to go home so bad. Her walking made her looked like a zombie, very lifeless. Chaeyoung went out of the faculty walking towards the parking lot. As she was passing by the parking lot, Chaeyoung was shocked to see Jungkook was leaning on his car.

“What is he doing here?” Chaeyoung whispered to herself.

Chaeyoung tried to hide her face by hung her head low as she was walking passed Jungkook. But suddenly Jungkook stood in front of her, blocking her way.

Chaeyoung lifted her head and saw Jungkook was looking at her while smiling.

What.the.hell. Chaeyoung thought to herself.

Chaeyoung cleared . “Excuse me, I’m in a hurry.”

Jungkook lifted one of his eyebrows. “Where are you from?”

Huh? Isn’t it supposed to be my question?

“I met my supervisor. Why are you so busybody? Can you please move? I want to go home.” Chaeyoung moved to a bit to walk but again, Jungkook blocked her way.

“Why are you so arrogant?” Jungkook asked.

“Huh? Me? What is your problem?” Chaeyoung glared at Jungkook. Chaeyoung walked to the other side but Jungkook grabbed her wrist.

“Let me go, you jerk!” Chaeyoung tried to pull her hand back but Jungkook just held tighter.

“Aishh. Just stop struggling. Follow me, I have something to talk to you.”

“Ani! I have nothing to talk to you!” Chaeyoung yelled and tried to run away but still Jungkook held on her wrist tighter.

Jungkook dragged her to his black car. He shoved her onto the front seat. “Yah. You better keep quiet. Aren’t you embarrassed yelling like a mad woman?” Jungkook chuckled.

Chaeyoung scoffed and yanked her hand away. Jungkook slammed the door shut. Jungkook ran to the driver side not forgetting to lock his car.

“Haishh. Now I feel like a kidnapper.” Jungkook mumbled to himself and blew a raspberry. Jungkook opened the driver door and got in. He buckled up his seatbelt and went to Chaeyoung’s side and buckled up her seatbelt for her. After he buckled up her seatbelt he took a chance to by kissing her cheek when their faces were closed together.

Chaeyoung widened her eyes and shoved his face away. “Yah!” Chaeyoung yelled while Jungkook chuckled and started the engine and drove away from the campus.

“Where are you taking me?!” Chaeyoung yelled loudly while looking at his face.

“Geez. You are making me deaf!” Jungkook pinched his right ear slight with his hand while driving with his other hands.

It’s already been a few months since Jungkook saw Chaeyoung. Their last met was when they went to the Jeju Island with Jiyoon and Jimin. But then, suddenly, here he was in the faculty.

“How have you been, Chaeyoung?” Jungkook asked with a teasing smile on his smile while glancing at Chaeyoung who had the sour face.

“What do you actually want from me?” Chaeyoung asked him with a serious tone while looking straight at his face. She was still shocked with Jungkook sudden appearance.

“Well, just wanna bring you out for lunch.” Jungkook shrugged.

“Stop joking. I need to go home now. I have a lot of works to do.”

“So?”

Jungkook felt as if he had lost his mind. He didn’t even mind at all now as long as he can see her. He felt all of his ego had vanished. He determined to get Chaeyoung’s heart no matter what. He never cared about any girls before but Chaeyoung was totally different than any other girls. He never chased any girl before. It was always the other way around. But now he realized that Chaeyoung managed to get a special place in his heart.

“I.want.to.go.home.” Chaeyoung said sternly.

Jungkook ignored Chaeyoung while he increased the volume of the radio.

Chaeyoung massaged her temples lightly. Silenced filled the two of them as none of them were talking.

“Please, Jungkook. Let me go home.” Chaeyoung said softly this time as she knew if she keep on being mad at him he won’t entertain her.

Jungkook felt butterflies in his stomach hearing her saying his name softly. “Ahhh, now only you can talk without yelling or screaming?”

Chaeyoung remained silent as she already felt defeated. She was so tired to argue with him as she was so hungry.

Suddenly, Jungkook’s car stopped in front of a restaurant.

“Where are we going?” Chaeyoung asked while blinking.

“Lunch.” Jungkook answered her while unbuckled his seatbelt.

When the doors were unlocked, Chaeyoung quickly went out of the car. Chaeyoung just followed Jungkook and he went to sit at the corner of the restaurant.

“Hey, what do you want to eat?” Jungkook asked Chaeyoung when the waiter came to their table.

Chaeyoung shook her head. “I’m not hungry.”

“I’ll have 2 sets of set A. Thank you.” Jungkook smiled to the waiter.

“When are you going to present in front of the panels?” Jungkook asked.

Chaeyoung just shrugged.

“You met your supervisor for every day and yet you don’t know?” Jungkook asked in disbelief.

“The panels are not you.” Chaeyoung stared at him with a blank expression.

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Jungkook could not understand her.

Chaeyoung laughed a little, making her face looked so beautiful. Jungkook was stunned as he never seen this kind of expression of hers before.

“Don’t be busybody, you jerk!” Chaeyoung glared at him.

Jungkook was going to argue back but the waiter came with their food.

“Enjoy your food!” The waiter said and left.

“Jal Meokkesseumnida!” Chaeyoung said before she started to dig in to the food. The food was so delicious.

Jungkook lifted his eyebrow with an amusement. “I thought you said you are not hungry?”

Chaeyoung continued eating totally ignoring him. “Wahh! This is so good!”

Jungkook just chuckled while looking at her. He started to eat the food too.

Graduation. An event that all of the students were waiting for. The moment that was shared with the loved ones. But not for Chaeyoung, she had no one to celebrate it with her. Only her coursemates and friends were there to celebrate with her. Chaeyoung felt the tears rolled down her cheeks when she saw other people were celebrating with their families. Chaeyoung wiped her tears with her hands afraid that her friends will see.

“Hi Chaeyoung.”

Chaeyoung turned when she heard that familiar voice. Chaeyoung was alone at that time because her friends went to their families.

“Taehyung!” Chaeyoung said cheerfully.

Taehyung opened his arms with a bouquet of white roses in his right hand. Chaeyoung chuckled and went into his arms.

Taehyung engulfed her in his arms. Chaeyoung pulled away and smiled.

“Congratulations!” Taehyung ruffled her hair with his left hand and handed her the bouquet.

Chaeyoung was touched. When her friends received flowers from their families, she didn’t have anything in her hands. She felt like buying herself the flowers but she decided not to as she realized that she had not gone mad yet.

“This is for me?” Chaeyoung asked for a confirmation as she can’t believe that. A cute little bear wearing a graduation hat in the middle of the flowers. Chaeyoung chuckled to herself.
