Chapter 7: A mix up!

“Is that...HANEUL?!” Bobby shouted as he stared at the girl, standing there with Hanbin.
“Okay okay, what’s happening here?” Jinan asked standing up as Haneul stared at them and then at Hanbin. 
“I-I came to meet me oppa...but you two...” Haneul paused 
“And Hanbin?” Jinan asked 
“He’s my boyfriend” Haneul said as Hanbin looked at his two members
“Sooooo...I am Haneul’s oppa and Hanbin is your boyfriend?” Bobby asked as Haneul nodded 
“SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU TWO BEEN DATING?!” Jinan asked as Hanbin sighed 
“Can we just sit down first and talk this out?” Hanbin said as Haneul nodded in agreement 
“And you never told me you were Haneul’s brother” Jinan said looking at Bobby 
“I didn’t know it myself either” he said gulping.
“Haneul, how have you been? When did you come?” Jinan asked as Haneul smiled brightly at the two
“I just came last week for a month or two...I needed to sort some things out over here so—”
“And you and Hanbin?” Bobby asked 
“We started dating late last winter” Haneul chuckled 
“And why did you not come to meet us?!” Bobby said hyping
“Can we first keep this a secret from the boys?” Haneul asked as Jinan and Bobby looked at each other
“But—” Jinan said when 
“Please?” Haneul asked as Bobby nodded 
“I guess you have a reason to say that, but the boys would love to have you around like good old days” Bobby smiled reminiscing
“Hello oppa” Haneul smiled extending her hand for a shake when Bobby pulled her into a hug 
“Hello dongsaeng” he smiled cheekily.

Later:

“So are you gonna go back soon?” Bobby asked taking a sip of his tea as Haneul nodded walking with Hanbin 
“I’m considering something” she said as Bobby and Jinan nodded
“But it’s a surprise that you and Hanbin are dating...I always knew he had the hots for you” Jinan chuckled
“Yah!” Hanbin shouted embarrassed 
“Yeah he did” Bobby laughed showing a thumbs up
“No I didn’t!” Hanbin said sighing as Haneul looked at him
“You didn’t?” she asked looking at her boyfriend 
“Yeah I did but...guys, don’t embarrass me” Hanbin sighed 
“I guess I can cook something for the kids back, it’s sad enough I can’t see them” Haneul said as she opened the door of her apartment. 
“Feel yourselves at home” she smiled 
“Does Hanbin also live here with you?” Bobby asked looking around and finding much of Hanbin’s stuff inside
“It’s actually Hanbin oppa’s apartment but I’m staying here temporarily, also because he’s always at the dorm” Haneul said walking towards the kitchen. 
“I’ll just cook something real quick okay?” Haneul said as Hanbin wore his apron
“Let me help you” he said as Haneul smiled nodding 
“Me too” Jinan volunteered as Bobby looked at the trio 
“Can I just watch television or something?” he said with a low chuckle when Jinan handed him the basket of lettuce.

3 hours later: YG building 

“You guys make you way to practice room and enjoy the meal, I’ll go meet my dad before I leave” Haneul said as Jinan happily carried the gigantic lunch box, nodding. 

When was the last time they had homemade food?

“Babe, be careful okay?” Hanbin said covering the lower part of her face with her muffler 
“I will...you guys take care too oh?” she smiled as the three nodded 
“Bye” Hanbin said ruffling her hair 
“Bye, we’ll enjoy the meal” Jinan bowed politely 
“It was nice knowing you dongsaeng, be safe!” Bobby bowed with the biggest smile as she bowed back 
“Bye” she waved as they parted in the opposite directions.
Haneul looked back one more time to see Hanbin already looking at her with a smile 
“Bye” she mouthed waving as he smiled nodding.

Haneul walked to her dad’s office as she knocked when the door opened. Haneul stood their stunned as June came out from her dad’s office, their eyes meeting.
June stopped for a second as he paused and looked at the girl, face half covered with a red muffler 
*The girl with the same hazel eyes?* he paused when the girl hurriedly rushed inside the YG’s office
“That’s strange, why is she so familiar” he muttered as he walked off.

“Oh god, oh god I almost died” Haneul sighed plopping on the floor as her dad looked weirdly at her. 
“Annyeong papa” she said heaving a sigh of relief
“Is anything the matter?” her dad asked as Haneul recovered her stance and walked to her dad
“Just some unwanted persons” she said as her dad gave her a look 
“My ex boyfriend” Haneul said as Yg nodded
“Was he outside? Who is he anyway?” YG asked as Haneul shook her head 
“Just nobody, but papa, I came to tell you something today” she said with a smile as she took her dad’s hand as she pulled him towards the sofa
“Eomma is returning to Miami in two weeks and so am I” Haneul said as her dad nodded
“But eomma is not alone there, she has the new appa, but I don’t feel happy leaving you alone here so...” Haneul smiled as her dad nodded smiling a bit 
“Dungdungdungdung...drum roll” Haneul said making gestures with her hands as her dad broke into a chuckle 
“I will stay in Korea to complete my studies here and stay with you!” she said as her dad looked at her
“But...I thought you hated Korea” he said worriedly 
“Kwenchanna, it’s just the past anyway and I even have Hanbin, I have you, so it’ll turn out fine” she said with the biggest smile as her dad looked down smiling 
“I’m so proud to have a daughter like you, Haneul-ah” her dad sa das Haneul hugged her dad
“Me too” she chuckled.
