Chapter 13: Exes and insecurities

 

Later at the dorm:

“It’s a good thing we ate before coming home, or we’re too tired to cook” Yun said plopping on the couch

“Yah wash yourself first, you stink” Jinan said poking the eldest

“I guess all that’s left is to sleep then” Chanwoo sighed exhausted

“Haneul’s sleeping with me” Hanbin shouted as he got into the bathroom

“What’ya mean you’re sleeping with her?” Bobby mumbled as Haneul looked at the boys

“I’ll use the couch don’t worry” she smiled awkwardly

“You can use my bed” June said raising his hand

“Hayi can use that” Haneul said awkwardly as Hayi looked at her boyfriend

“We can sleep together eh?” she smiled as June turned to Haneul

“I’ll go shower first then” Haneul smiled as she pointed to Hanbin’s room
“Oh sure, I’ll make tea for everyone then” Donghyuk said as Haneul smiled warmly at the vocalist

“I’ll help you, just give me a minute, you guys wash yourselves too” Haneul said as the others nodded

“By the way, where should we sleep?” hayi asked to June as she tugged on her hand

“Aish~ I don’t know” June said pulling his hand away as he walked over to the kitchen leaving Hayi pouting

“Kwenchanna, he can be cold sometimes” Yun said reassuring the younger as a smile formed on her lips as she nodded.

 

Haneul looked around inside the room that Hanbin and Bobby shared as she smiled at their picture that was kept at his bedside

“He kept that up there just soon after the boys met you” Bobby said entering the room with a big smile

“Ah, oppa...you must be tired too” Haneul said smiling a bit

“Of course, but this is the life I chose so I can’t complain either” Bobby chuckled as Haneul nodded pouting

“It’s great seeing you so happy with Hanbin” Bobby smiled looking down as he played with his fingers
“....He’s never had a girlfriend and it’s great seeing him so happy...” Bobby chuckled as Haneul ruffled his hair

“Aigoo, I almost thought you two were dating” she chuckled as Bobby made a face

“Double B is not real” he pouted as Haneul pinched her oppa’s cheeks

“Babe—Yah~” Hanbin said looking at the brother sister duo

“You wanna shower?” Hanbin asked walking towards them

“Yeah sure, Bobby oppa, we’ll talk about this again soon k?” Haneul chuckled as Hanbin gave them suspicious looks

“Sure” Bobby waved at Haneul as Hanbin handed her his towel

“Don’t act suspicious” he muttered as Haneul made her way into the shower laughing at her boyfriend

“It’s just a brother sister thing” Bobby smirked as Hanbin threw a pillow at him

“Whatever” Hanbin said sticking out his tongue

“I need to find clothes for Haneul to wear” Hanbin said as Bobby nodded

“Where are you gonna sleep?” Bobby asked as Hanbin thought for a while
“We’ll all sleep together” Hanbin said as Bobby chuckled

“Alright” he chuckled exiting the room.

 

June stared at nothing in particular as he stood outside at the balcony, thoughts flooding in his head

*I hate that I have to watch you love another guy* he sighed when

“Hey babe” he heard Hanbin call as the leader knocked at the bathroom door that was just near where June was standing

“Yeah?” her voice came the reply

“Here, wear this, I’m sorry I don’t have shorts that’ll fit but I have pajamas so you can wear that later, for now you have to make do with your shorts ok?” Hanbin said as June heard the door creak

“Thanks oppa” he heard Haneul say with a chuckle

“You’re welcome, you wanna have anything after shower?” Hanbin asked as Haneul looked at him from the creak of the door

“Nah I’ll let you know later, we’ll have it together, now go” Haneul chuckled as Hanbin nodded

“Arasso, arasso, love you” he said as Haneul stuck out her tongue before closing the door

“Just you wait oh?” Hanbin said knocking on the door only to hear Haneul’s laughter from the other side.

 

June noticed Hanbin walking away after that as he sighed for the thousandth time

*If I hadn’t screwed up then, I’d be the one she talks to like that* he sighed.

Haneul walked to the kitchen wearing Hanbin’s oversized tee which made her shorts barely visible

“Hey, are you getting started with the coffee?” Haneul asked as Donghyuk looked at her

“Yeah” he smiled cutely as Haneul started helping him out

“I don’t see Hanbin, where is he?” Haneul asked

“Must be getting some air outside” Donghyuk said as Haneul nodded

“Nehhh” she muttered as she continued helping out the younger.

“Can I help too?” a voice said walking inside the kitchen as Haneul turned around

“Oh June, sure” she smiled as June stared at her – her tiny petite figure, her perfectly toned skin, her neat ponytail and the t-shirt Hanbin always wore.

“Don’t you have any snacks to eat?” Haneul asked as June looked at Donghyuk who looked back at him

“We don’t” they both said together

“Can you take care of this Haneul? I’ll go and come back real quick” Donghyuk volunteered

“Aww you will?” Haneul asked making a sorry face

“Yeah, I’ll be back with Chanwoo in no time” Donghyuk said waving at them as Haneul waved back nodding

 

“What should I do?” June asked as Haneul pointed at the cups

“Wash the cups please?” she said pointing at the cups as June bowed politely

“At your service” he bowed making her chuckle

*Like good old times* she smiled.

 

Hanbin walked into the room as his eyes met Haneul and June laughing and playing as they made the coffee for everyone as he felt his face get heated up at the sight

Of course it was me who got in between them...it was me.
