I love him to the point it hurts.

Whenver I see him talking to other girls, my stomach aches.

And when my eyes meet his?

Oh.

My heart feels like it's about to rip out of my chest.

It's not healthy, I know.

It's almost like a disease, this love coursing through my veins.

It's going to destory me, I know it all.

But somehow I think it could save me, too.

Chapter 9: Coffee made it right ^^

 

“Hello boys~” Hayi sang as she walked into the practice room, straight to her boyfriend.

“Where’s Bin?” Hayi asked looking around and finding only six boys
“He left to get coffee” Bobby said with a small laugh

“Ah~ it’s been so long since I last saw him” Hayi muttered as she looked at June

“What are you thinking about?” she asked looking at June as Haneul’s words flashed in his mind

 

“Just because your ex ed you up, doesn’t mean you can treat the next person who gives you the world like ”

 

“Nothing much” June muttered when the door opened

“Hey” Haneul smiled as the guys greeted her happily

“Haneul?” Hayi whispered to herself
“Oh hi Hayi” Haneul smiled looking at the couple, her heart being torn to shreds at the very sight as she met eyes with June

“Hi Haneul, nice to see you again” Hayi smiled awkwardly as Haneul nodded

“Same” she smiled as she turned to Hanbin

“See, what’d I tell you about getting the extra coffee” Haneul smirked as her boyfriend nodded surrendering

“Here’s yours” Haneul said handing Hanbin the coffee mocha

“I want one of those too” Hayi said rasing up her hand

“But me and Haneul are coffee twinning, you can’t have it” Hanbin said as the others rushed to take the drinks they had asked for.

“Cappuccino is yours” Hanbin said handing it to June who took it without meeting eyes with the leader

“Here you can have my coffee mocha” Haneul said handing Hayi her drink

“Geumawo” Hayi smiled as she looked at Hanbin

“Oppa, we are the ones twinning now” she said as Haneul laughed a bit looking at Hanbin’s change of expression

“There” Hanbin said taking a sip of both the cappuccino and the mocha

“Now this means we are sharing, no one is twinning with anyone” Hanbin said dragging his girl away as Hayi pouted

“You wanna share?” she asked looking at June who simply shook his head.

 

The way Haneul looked happy with Hanbin, it was like they were the lost lovers who found each other again. It was like, no one could ever get in between them...

 

Her arms interlaced with June’s and the way he seemed to be okay with it...it hurt. They were happy together, finally he was happy with someone he really loved...

 

Their eyes that seemed to connect with each other like they were forever destined to be, the way Haneul made a face when she looked at June, the way she reacted...Maybe he was still there in her heart...

 

The smile that played on his lips as he looked at her, the way he was towards her, the way he looked at her, everything that amazed him that was about her...why can’t he ever love me like that?

 

“I’ll just go use the washroom once” Haneul said standing up as Hanbin shifted his gaze to her

“Want me to accompany you, babe?” he asked as Haneul shook her head with a smile

“I’ll go with her, I need to use the restroom too” Hayi said as Hanbin looked at Hayi and then at Haneul
“I’ll be fine” she smiled at Hanbin as he nodded at her

“Oppa, I’ll be back” Hayi said as June nodded turning back to his song sheets.

“Kajja lets go” Hayi said dragging Haneul outside happily.

 

Haneul wiped her face with the towel as she stared at herself in the mirror

 

*Yes, you're managing good so far, you’re strong, you’re strong* she smiled

 

“Why are you back?” Hayi asked as she washed her hands standing next to Haneul

“Eh..?” she asked turning to Hayi

“What made you come here after so long?” Hayi asked with a small smile

“Ah...I had some things to take care of” Haneul said as Hayi nodded
“Can I tell you something?” Hayi asked as Haneul nodded
“Sure” she said turning to the mirror

“June’s still hooked on you” Hayi said bluntly

Wow, now she was saying that so casually like it was a normal thing to do?

“He’s your boyfriend, make sure he doesn’t stay hooked for that long then” Haneul said as she wiped her hands on the towel and walked towards the exit

“He still loves you, and you’re not gonna go back to him?” Hayi asked as Haneul sighed
“Let’s not talk about this here and create awkwardness, this one’s more than enough” Haneul said as Hayi rolled her eyes

“It’s annoying enough” she said as she interlaced her arms with Haneul

“Let’s just pretend we are good friends and I’ll try to get you back with June oh?” she said as Haneul looked at her unbelievably

*Weren’t you the only one who stole him at the first place?*

“Kajja” Hayi said smiling as she walked with Haneul to the practice room.

 

SOON:

“And we’re done for the day!” Yun danced happily as Haneul looked at the time : 11pm

“It’s pretty late” she mumbled yawning
“Hey babe?” Hanbin called snaking his arms to her waist

“Erm?” she mumbled

“I have to arrange some more songs so I’ll have to stay back, but I want you go ahead okay? Bobby will drop you off” Hanbin whispered to her as she looked at Bobby who was already close to dozing

“Don’t bother him, he’s tired enough” Haneul chuckled

“I’ll be fine on my own” she reassured him as Hanbin looked at her

“NO” he said as Haneul sighed

“What are you two whispering over there?” Jinan asked as the couple turned to them

“Nothing” they both smiled

“Oppa, I’ll have to stay back with you for that song, I need to get through my part too” Hayi said as Hanbin nodded

“Sure” he said as Haneul looked at Hayi smiling sweetly at them

“Be back soon okay?” Haneul said as Hanbin nodded

“June, be safe okay?” Hayi said hugging him as June looked at Haneul who turned away smiling at Hanbin

*Damn*

 

After all the goodnights and goodbyes the boys had all left except for June, Hayi, Hanbin and Haneul

“Good night June, get some rest” Hanbin said as June nodded

“You too hyung” June said as Haneul turned to Hanbin

“Bye” she said as Hanbin nodded before pulling her away outside as he walked her to the elevator

“be safe” he said as Haneul smiled nodding

“Bye” she said as Hanbin cupped her cheeks

“Bye” he said as he sealed his lips with hers, making Haneul smile a bit.

“Bye” she said one last time as the elevator door closed the gap between them.
