Chapter 24: The rain and your story (Final chapter) 

 

iKON performed their song “Bling Bling” and “B-day” as Haneul cheered from them from the crowd holding a light stick and a name card that read 준회.

“WOOOOO” she screamed as his part came waving the konbat happily.

 

After the performance: backstage

“Yah yah I heard our parents will be here!” Yun said happily

“Oh, and Haneul came to surprise you today” Chanwoo shouted looking at June

“Seriously? She’s here?” June asked going around to their manager

“Haneul is here?” he asked excited

“I heard she’s here” the stylist noona replied

“Aigooo, see our June getting all worked up” Donghyuk chuckled high-fiving Jinan, bursting into laughter.

“Yah yah shut up, don’t let her see my weaker side, yah” June said panicking .

 

Meanwhile:

Haneul walked backstage as she chuckled looking at the name card that read “Junhoe” in hangul.

“Don’t let her see my weaker side, yah” she heard June say as she waved happily to Hanbin who pointed at June, smiling and nodding at the same time

“Yah Goo Junhoe” Haneul called as June froze staring at her as he showed surprise all over his face

“Haneul!!!” the boys cheered happily as Haneul pulled June away

“I’ll be back” she said leaving the guys dumbfounded

“Is she happy to see him from among all of us?” Bobby pouted.

 

 

“I have to tell you something” Haneul said as she grabbed June’s hand

“About what you said last night...” she smiled.

 

The previous night:

Haneul sat in bed when her phone buzzed

1 new message: June

A smiled crept her face as Haneul read the message, plotting her revenge on the vocalist.

“Haneul,

I know it’s sudden and I know I shouldn’t really rush things but I just want you to know that I still think of you as a woman and I really would love to have you as a girlfriend again. I promise I won’t screw things around this time. Please come to root for me during our concert tomorrow, I’ll be waiting.

Damn, Yang Haneul... goodnight"

“I wouldn’t mind being your girlfriend” Haneul said as June paused

“Wait, you’re really agreeing...haha...omg...this is daebak...I mean you’re serious?” June said as Haneul made a face

“So you were just...joking?!” Haneul shouted

“Aniyo, I-I thought you’d say no...yahhh I knew you loved me...yahhh” June laughed as Haneul walked away

“Never mind, I‘m not that crazy to be your girl either” Haneul said when June pulled her back, wrapping her warmly under his emrabce

“I love you Yang Haneul...I really do” June said chuckling as Haneul felt her heart melt into a little puddle –how long had she missed him embrace.

“I love you too” she said when June cupped her cheeks, pulling her into a deep kiss

“Forever” he smiled placing his forehead on hers as Haneul smiled nodding.

 

LATER:

“Where’s Haneul?” Yun asked as June walked into the waiting room

“She said she’ll be back soon” June said as Donghyuk looked suspiciously at the vocalist when

“Eomma?!” Jinhwan shouted when the boys turned their attention to the family that was there to congratulate them.

 

Everyone sat there happily –Donghyuk and his mom, Hanbin, Hanbyul and his mom, June, his sister and his mom, Chanwoo and his parents, Jinhwan and his family,Yunhyeong and his family.

 

Bobby smiled as he hung up on the call with his mom, greeting the other families happily

 

“If only I could happily be like them all” he smiled sadly when

 

“Aigoo Kim Jiwon, come here” Haneul voice said as YG and Haneul walked over to him with a bouquet of flowers

“S-Saem...Haneul...” Bobby paused

“You really do make me proud, son” Yg smiled as Bobby felt his eyes get teary

“ULJIMAAAAA” Haneul shouted hugging her oppa as Hyun Suk looked at his little family proudly.

 

 

“Oh eomma” June whispered to his mom as his mom turned to him

“That’s my girlfriend” he pointed at Hanuel as his mom laughed

“I know you wish she was yours...she’s lovely” his mom laughed as June sulked

“She really is my girlfriend~” he said as his mom nodded

“Yeah yeah” she laughed when

“Yah Yang Haneul” June said pulling Haneul towards him as she looked at him surprised and then at his mom

“Oh eommonim, annyeonghasaeyo...I am Haneul...” Haneul bowed politely

“.....aaaannnnnnddd?” June said proudly as Haneul chuckled

“I’m his girlfriend” she laughed as June’s mom smiled brightly at his son’s choice

“Well done son” she chuckled.

5 years later:

Haneul turned to her left as she looked at her husband sleeping peacefully

“Jagiya?” she called as her husband breathed softly

“You must really have been tired...I’m sorry that you have to go on tours and sing on stage and there’s nothing I can do except make you food and cheer for you...”

“Thank you for being so strong” she smiled resting her head on his chest

“I already lost count of the times you tell me such romantic stuff when I’m sleeping” he said sleepily as Haneul looked at him surprised

“I love you too baby” he said pulling her close to him as Haneul chuckled

“I hate you Koo June” she smiled

‘Just one more hour okay...we have stuff to get done” Haneul said as June nodded sleepily, kissing her forehead.

“Ayo dongsaeng!” Bobby said ringing the doorbell

“Ayo she’s not at home” Haneul said from the camera

“Yah I know you’re inside open up!” Bobby shouted banging on the door

“Just because you’re married doesn’t mean we’ll leave you alone!” Yun shouted joining the tantrum

“Aigoo, too bad I’m not opening the door” Haneul said when she felt June’s arms creep to her waist as he rested his head on her shoulder

“Go away hyung” June said sleepily

“YAH OPEN UP!” Hanbin shouted

“I have kimchi rice cakes from chef Dong” Jinan said when

“Not worki—”

“3-1-1-3” June shouted as Haneul pushed him away

“ANIYO!!” she shouted as the boys entered the apartment, complaining.

“YAH that’s not some way to treat your oppa” Bobby pouted.

 

Me and June? Married for 2 years, no plans for kids yet since we’re both young now.

Haneul: How we started dating?

June: She was the first one to give me signals (proudly)

Haneul: Heollll

June: Exactly, how could she resist my charms?

Haneul: GET OUT.
