Chapter 23: You cold person.

 

5 years later:

“Did you find the sweater yet?!” Haneul called as her husband sat next to her wearing the white sweater he had been searching for.

“Bwo?” Haneul asked as he pecked her cheek

“I’m leaving, I’ll miss you” he said as Haneul made a face

“Stop being so cheesy yah!” she shouted as her husband smiled

“Coffee, our usual place, 6pm...I’ll be waiting” he said as Haneul made a face.

Late winter 2017:

“What are you doing here alone?” June asked as Haneul looked at him as she quickly wiped her tear away

“So cold, so cold” Haneul rubbed hands together

“I told you wear warmer clothes” June sighed as Haneul pushed him away, walking into the practice rooms.

 

“Ah, it's so warm in here” Haneul said as she squeezed between Bobby and Yunhyeong

“Move” June said as he squeezed next to Haneul.

 

The movie session started as Haneul stared at the screen as his words flashed in her head

 

Two nights ago:

“Hey” Haneul called as Hanbin smiled at him

“Aren’t you cold, standing here like that?” Hanbin asked as Haneul nodded

“Too cold” she chuckled

“Here’s the last coffee as my girlfriend from me as your boyfriend” Hanbin smiled as Haneul nodded sadly

“We are really calling it quits eh?” Haneul chuckled as Hanbin nodded

 

It had been three months since our last date that day. I don’t know what changed so suddenly...maybe because we both felt we were really falling out of love.

Not because we didn’t love each other...we were just tired of the lack of trust and security in the relationship.

His last words were funny –

“Be happy with June”

 

Hanbin walked away as Haneul clenched her fist

“I will be happy with him if you want me to go to him that much! I will get married to him and I will call you to sing on our wedding day...Goodbye” she said crying.

 

That was probably the last time I’d leave her crying behind like that eh?

Now she has June...

The movie started as Haneul turned to Hanbin who was focussing on the movie and smiled – what must be going on in that head of yours?

 

Then Haneul turned to June and she froze

“Turn around, don’t look at me” she mouthed as June smirked
“My wish” he mouthed back when Bobby cleared his throat

“You don’t want me to kick you guys out eh?” he said as Haneul awkwardly turned away clearing .

 

Funny how fate, destiny and timing works...you know, people don’t just come into your lives just like that. They either come as lessons or as blessings they say.

Maybe I was a harsh lesson for Hanbin, but he certainly was a blessing for me.

June? I wouldn’t really say he’s a blessing xD

6 months later:

Haneul rested her head on the desk as she stared at the sleeping June

“Were you that tired?” she muttered staring at him

“Yeah” he answered with his eyes closed

“YAH! You scared me” Haneul shouted getting up as June chuckled getting up

“You really like telling me things when I’m sleeping eh?” he laughed as Haneul made a face

 

“Yo~” Bobby sang walking inside the dorm
“You’re back?” Yun shouted from the kitchen

“Annyeong, Hi Hanbin” Haneul waved as the leader waved at her, all smiles

“Tonight, Song chef...” Yun said running into the scene with his favourite ladle

“...Chef Dong...” Donghyuk said making a heart

“....” the guys paused as Yun and Dong looked at Haneul

“Ohhh...and Chef Yang..” Haneul said standing up, rasing her hand in the air

“....1...2...3...” Yun counted as Hanbin, Bobby and Jinan (who just came back) and June and Chanwoo( (who just woke up) stared at them awkwardly

“WILL MAKE YOU DINNER!!” they shouted together dancing around

“it’s bad enough that my dongsaeng missed the timing” Bobby sighed

“Yahhhh~ hush hush you didn’t hear that, my precious” Yun said covering her ears making her chuckle.

 

Hanbin smiled as he looked at Haneul and the boys having fun.

I was never supposed to the one for you Haneul...you cold person.

I can never feel sad though, can I?

Not when my world is smiling like that...
