Chapter 9: Jealousy and insecurities. 

 

“Babe, you’re gonna be fine okay?” Hanbin reassured Haneul as she nodded

“I just wish this Bobby would stop talking and let me in already” she sighed

“I’ll call you in just now okay?” Hanbin said as Haneul nodded

Haneul chuckled as she heard the boys shouting at each other again

“HANAAAAA!!!” she heard a voice shouted

*They seriously disguised my name* she sighed as she deeply breathed

“HANEUL!” she heard her boyfriend call as Haneul took a deep breath as she pushed the door open

If only I could have turned around and walked away, I wouldn’t have met Koo Junhoe again...and again and again.

The boys fixed their eyes on the figure as they looked at each other and then at June and then at Haneul

“H-Haneul?” Yun muttered as Haneul smiled a bit
“Annyeonghasaeyo, I am Yang Haneul” she bowed politely as she tried avoiding June’s gaze

“When did you come back? Where did you disappear so suddenly back then?” Chanwoo asked worriedly

“You come with me” June said grabbing Haneul’s hand as he stormed out of the room

“Leave my hand” Haneul said trying to pull her hand back as June pushed her into an empty room as he looked at her – angry, sorrow, sadness written all over his face.

“You were the one I saw that day at the cafe...the one I met outside YG ssaem’s office that day...you looked familiar.”

“Where were you? Why are you with Hanbin?” June asked as Haneul looked at him

“Are you not satisfied after doing all those? Huh June? You are with Hayi right now damn it, why are you fussing over me having a boyfriend then?!” Haneul shouted as June punched the wall in frustration as Haneul closed her eyes

“I hate you June, I never wanted to meet you again either but I have, and this, you can say, is my way of moving on from you” Haneul said as she turned back to leave when June grabbed her hand

“Please don’t do this to me Haneul...Can't we just forget everything that’s happened before and start again?” he asked as Haneul forcefully tried to pull her hand away

“AND WHAT ABOUT HANBIN AND HAYI OH? WHY DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE PEOPLE FOR GRANTED?!” Haneul shouted as tears streamed down her face

“Please give me a chance to make it right then” June said as he got on his knees in front of her

“Just because your ex ed you up, doesn’t mean you can treat the next person who gives you the world like ” Haneul said as her heart pained at the sight before her

“Junhwe, don’t do this” Haneul said as June looked at her

“You left without saying anything, just tell me why” June said as tears escaped his eyes

“You were the one who left without saying goodbye, you never took my calls, you left me miserable for so long...so now, please let me go” Haneul said when she felt a firm grip on her hand as the guy dragged her away.

“Yang Haneul!” June shouted as he felt his tears flow

“Jebal...” he muttered as he watched Hanbin drag Haneul away.

“Mianhae” Haneul’s voice cracked as Hanbin pulled her to the empty practice room as he hugged her

“Uljima, I’m here now” Hanbin said as he her hair

“Mianhae...” she sobbed as Hanbin sighed frustrated but keeping his emotions in control

“This is my fault, I dragged you into this I’m sorry” Hanbin said hugging her tighter.

“June...did you miss him?” Hanbin asked as Haneul stood still

“If you miss him you can go back to him okay? We can part ways here, perhaps this was meant to be this way” Hanbin said closing his eyes as Haneul shook her head

“Don’t give up on me oppa...please don’t” Haneul cried as Hanbin sighed

“Uljima” he said sadly as he continued her hair.

“Gosh there’s some tension over there, you sure it won’t affect them?” Jinan asked worriedly
“I thought both June and Haneul called it quits mutually” Yun said as Donghyuk nodded in agreement

“It was June who went back to Hayi in the first place, why’d he be so mad that she got a guy?” Bobby muttered

“Maybe it’s not as simple as that” Chanwoo sighed

“You sure it’s okay for us to leave them like that?” Jinan asked worriedly as Yun nodded

“What can't we do anyway” he sighed.
