Sandara out after the wind took her. She wasn't sure if the reason for her fainting was due to her wounds or the constant tumbling she experienced while being carried by the crazy wind. She wasn't even sure if what happened next were real or just part of a dream.

        But the coldness that chilled her began to disappear. It was replaced by soothing warmth. Warm hands were taking away her pain, making her wounds heal until she could no longer feel any pain.

        When Sandara's head finally cleared, she found herself lying on a warm bed inside a room. She first thought she was inside a hospital but personal things and appliances inside the room made her realize that someone owned the room.

        She got up. She felt fine. She also noticed that she was wearing a large and shapeless dress with flower designs. She wasn't wearing any underwear either. But that didn't surprise her since the harsh wind ripped and sliced her clothes. She was also cut and bruised all over.

        Sandara blinked. The wounds and cuts on her body were gone! But how was that possible? Did she just dream her encounter with the wind spirit? Or what she was seeing right now was the dream? Could she still be tumbling around inside the whirlwind?

        She got out of bed and walked toward the door. The door was unlocked and she was able to open it easily. She found another room but instead of a kitchen or a living room, what she saw was a clinic!

        It was clear from the posters on the walls of the room that this wasn't just a regular clinic. This was a veterinary clinic! Sandara couldn't remember any veterinary clinic near their subdivision.

        Whoever found her must have brought her here in panic. With her cuts, wounds and blood, she must have looked like someone in dire need of medical help, even if such help would come from an animal doctor.

        She suddenly remembered the game the wind spirit wanted her to play with him. It was a game that would be impossible to win. She could only win that game if she could remain alive for three days while the wind spirit pursued her.

        A shiver ran down her spine. What her family believed about the wind spirit was wrong. The wind was never their protector. It was evil! Despite the fear, she also felt anger at what the wind spirit had done to her.

        She looked around the clinic. There was no wind blowing, not even a draft wind. What had happened? Why did the wind spirit let her go? She found herself beginning to doubt the reality of her current situation. She was afraid all of this was just a dream and she would suddenly find herself awake and inside that whirlwind again.

        Sandara took a deep breath, and pinched herself on the arm. She felt the pain. She was awake and not dreaming. But could feeling pain really prove she wasn't dreaming at all?

        She noticed that one of the windows of the clinic was open. But no wind was coming from it.

        "Hello?" she called out. If she could see or find another person in this place, that would at least assure her this place was indeed real and not part of a dream.
