Nine days had passed since Dara was taken to the hospital. For nine days, Jaejoong searched for her in every hospital and clinic in Joseon City. But he remained unable to find her.

       The Park family was rich and influential. They had the means and the clout to hide Dara. They could even have taken her abroad.

       Jaejoong didn't want to think that his wife was dead. He remained hopeful that Dara was still alive.

       His ESphone rang. He had left it on the counter near the lampshade. He simply glanced at it. He didn't want to be bothered by any one. Whoever was calling could always leave a message.

       "Jaejoong, this is Jinwoo," said the voice on the other line.

       Jaejoong rushed toward the ESphone and quickly activated it. Jinwoo's full body hologram appeared before him.

       "Please let me see, Dara," he pleaded.

       "Dara died this morning."

       Jaejoong stopped breathing. His mind and heart couldn't accept such news!

       "The family has decided to have her body cremated. We are going to bring her ashes to Mt. Kunlun. If you want, you can come to her funeral."

       Jaejoong's tears fell.

       "What‑" He took a deep breath and choked back the tears. "What time?"

       "On Friday at 6 AM. We want to scatter her ashes while the sun rises."

       "I will be there."

       "Thank you again, Jaejoong."

       "Thank you? For what?!" He lost control of his emotions. "I didn't do it for you and Mino! I loved her, Jinwoo. I really loved her!"

       Jinwoo grew quiet, his hologram showed surprise. He seemed to be having an inner struggle before he spoke again.

       "I'm sorry."

       "I want to scatter her ashes."

       "Yes. I will arrange that."

       Jaejoong cut off his conversation with Jinwoo. He wanted to scream, hit something, destroy everything! But he couldn't destroy any of the things inside the condominium. Dara picked all of them. They reminded him of Dara and the short time they shared.

       "Dara..."

       "You are like a drama king, Jaejoong. You are not acting like a man," taunted a familiar voice.

       Jaejoong stood still. He didn't need to think twice to recognize the owner of the voice. He began to feel the wind around him. The decorations and figurines around the house started to move. The much lighter ones fell on the floor. Even the paintings on the walls began swaying.

       His jaws clenched.

       "This is not a good time to annoy me!" he warned the wind spirit.
