After seeing the fear and anguish on the faces of each member of the Park Family, Jaejoong decided to help. History wouldn't be changed if he helped the family save Mino. In fact, he might even be doing what was written in history.

          "Don't worry. Mino will not die! Because in the future where I came from, he's alive and is the CEO of Park Conglomerates International."

          Mino's mother, Tae Hee stopped sobbing.

          "Are you sure? Would he really be okay? Was he hurt? Did he suffer any injuries?"

          "No, ma'am. He is healthy and very fit."

          "For that future to come to past, that meant that Mino was able to escape the wind spirit. But the wind spirit never breaks his word," reminded Grandpa.

          Everything suddenly became clear to Jaejoong! This was the real reason the fifty‑nine‑year‑old Mino Jung gave him a job in Blue Nature! He knew beforehand what had happened in the past. And Mino wanted to preserve history.

          Jaejoong was really meant to return with Dara in 2016! He needed to go to 2016 so he could save the young Mino from the wind spirit. Of all the people in this mansion, he was the most qualified to hunt and track down a wolf! He could save Mino before the seven‑day deadline would come to pass.

          "I will save Mino." His eyes locked with Jinwoo. "But I would need a companion." Jaejoong had already met the older version of Jinwoo in the future, so he was sure he wouldn't die or be put in danger in this rescue mission.

          "I'm in!" volunteered Jinwoo.

          Jaejoong turned to Tae Hee.

          "Ma'am, I need those tranquilizers and dart guns as soon as possible."

          "I will get those for you!" she said firmly.

          "I am going with you," insisted Rain, Mino's father. The other members of the Park family also expressed their desire to join Jaejoong.

          Jaejoong refused to take them with him.

          "Everyone with Park blood is in danger from the wind spirit," he explained. "And the only ones I know who are still alive in the future are Mino and Jinwoo."

          "I am not a Park," said Rain.

          "Sir, it would be better if you stay here. Set up a defense in the mansion and make sure that every member of your family stays safe. Once we rescued Mino, it's possible that the wind spirit would again take one of you in exchange for Mino."

          "Then we must make sure that he wouldn't be able to kidnap any of us again," said Jinwoo.

          "I will also get that cage or make one, in case you two managed to defeat him," said Rain.

          "I am coming with you!" said Dara. "I am familiar with the land here. I know every inch‑"

          He turned to Dara. Like her family, she wasn't one who would just stay put and wait.

          Jaejoong shook his head.

          "You stay here!" he said firmly. "I am a good hunter and tracker. Even if I am not familiar with the lay of the land, I would still be able to track down where the wolf had taken Mino."

          "I am not going to be a burden to you," insisted Dara.

          "You need to stay here, Dara. Find a solution. Think of a way to trick again the wind spirit like what your ancestor did before. I can guarantee you that I can bring back Mino, but I cannot stop the wind spirit if he attacks again. You need to find a way to stop him. Even if it means using spells and incantations."

          "You believe that nonsense?"

          "No. But the wind spirit does. He seemed to think that your Great Grandfather had some sort of powers. Find his journals or letters he had left behind. Maybe he had written there how he was able to trick and control the wind spirit."

          "He could be right, Dara!" exclaimed Grandma Hye-Jung. "Everything Grandfather owned and had written is in the mansion's library. Maybe the answer we need is there! And we have enough people to go through all of his things and letters!"

          "Okay then," Dara grudgingly agreed "But you must be careful, Jaejoong. If according to history, Mino will survive this, history didn't say anything about what will happen to you."

He saw the worried expression on her face.

"I'm good at this, Dara. I also know Hero. Although the wind spirit now possesses him, he still has the natural characteristics of a wolf. And I know those very well," he assured her.

          The tranquilizer guns ordered by Tae Hee were delivered to the Park mansion via chopper before the sun rose that morning. After a hurried breakfast prepared by Grandma Hye Jung, Jaejoong and Jinwoo left the house to search and rescue Mino.

Dara's words remained in Jaejoong's mind as he and Jinwoo tracked down Hero. It was possible he would meet his death in this time. No one could guarantee his survival once he faced the wind spirit.
