Confessing

Time Flies

Tzuyu was shocked with the move but responded a few seconds later, slipping her arms around Sana’s waist. She didn’t expect her to react so quickly to her advances and now, she was starting to realise the situation. For once, Tzuyu wasn’t thinking about anything else that was going on in her life. She wasn’t thinking about the nightmares that have been plaguing her or the possibility of her past coming back to haunt her. All of this was non-existent because of the mere pressure of Sana’s lips on hers. The only times that Tzuyu had imagined such a possibility wouldn’t have measured up to what it felt like right now.

She pulled Sana closer by her hips, trying to eradicate the remaining space between the two of them. Wounding a hand in Tzuyu’s hair, Sana deepened the kiss, being pushed back towards the door and shutting it close. Tzuyu didn’t want to let go of the feeling of bliss in the moment – she couldn’t help but want more. Their pushing and pulling had all ended up with this and both of them were happier than ever. The walls that were high up, blocking each other out, no longer exist for either of them.

“Tzuyu? Sana? Are you guys done?!” Mina called out, causing the two to break apart. A blush was evident on both their cheeks and if they left the room right now, it was going to be obvious that something had conspired between them. They decided not to give their friends the pleasurable chance of teasing them yet so the two attempted to cool themselves down.

“We’ll be out soon.” Sana answered, keeping her eyes fixed on Tzuyu’s.

“Are we going to talk about this? Or leave it till later?” Tzuyu muttered, fiddling with her fingers in nervousness. Of course she wanted to talk about it now but she was going to let Sana decide things instead.

“We can talk about it now?” Sana suggested, sighing softly. She pulled Tzuyu down, sitting on the bed in the room. “I know you have a lot on your mind so you go first.” She offered, noting the flash of emotions in Tzuyu’s eyes.

“I – you see, I’m really worried.” Tzuyu started. “I don’t want to be the one to hurt you. I’m someone who has anger issues and you’ve seen that in class before. I want to work out something between us becauseIreallylikeyou.” She rushed, breathing heavily.

“Wait, what?” Sana asked, not catching the least part. She just wanted to confirm if she had heard what she thought she heard.

“I really like you.” Tzuyu repeated, blushing deeply and hiding her face in her hands. Sana had heard right! Now she wanted to squeal at her adorable behaviour but she knew that’s not what Tzuyu needed at the moment. She took in a deep breath, trying to calm her overly enthusiastic nature.

“I really like you too Tzuyu. And I know you can get angry and upset quickly but we can work through that slowly. I don’t want to rush anything with you. It took me some time, but I realised that I really don’t want to lose you at all.” Sana confessed, feeling the heat crawl up to her cheeks.

The two stared at each other for a moment before chuckling at their shyness. Tzuyu slowly interlaced her hand with Sana’s, giving it a squeeze and Sana brushed her thumb across Tzuyu’s hand.

“So, does this mean that we’re–”

“ARE YOU GUYS COMING?” Chaeyoung called out this time, making Tzuyu whine at her unsaid and unanswered question.

“Yes, we are.” Sana whispered, kissing Tzuyu’s forehead quickly before she escaped from the room.

Tzuyu shook her head, a smile plastered on her face as she brought her hand to her lips. recalling what had happened moments ago. She wasn’t sure what was going to happen between them now that this had occurred but Tzuyu hoped that it wasn’t another step back. She knew that she was the one who was stepping back not long ago but to see that Sana was the one to make the first move – it gave Tzuyu hope. She didn’t want to stay rooted in her spot while she said goodbye to the possibility of making something great out of their relationship. Tzuyu’s past can always be there to haunt her but why should she live in the past and in fear of it when she should be living it to the most?

If she were to think back on when she first arrived at the academy, Tzuyu never expected that she’d find someone after what happened between herself and Dahyun. Her behaviour had changed as soon as she met Sana and now the two of them were technically dating. At least Tzuyu hoped that’s what Sana meant when she said ‘we are’. She still doesn’t know how she started opening up to Sana and trusting her but she was extremely glad that she did. It was very difficult for her to talk about her past and she was glad Sana pushed her to talk – even if it was subtle.

Thinking about herself and what she’s talked about with Sana reminds her of something that’s been on her mind constantly recently. She’s said it before but a part of Tzuyu worries about Sana. She worries about her in the sense that she always seems to have a lot on her shoulders yet never wants to talk about it. The one time Tzuyu had asked her about her past, Sana had given her a short recount of why her past was problematic. Like Sana did with Tzuyu, would she have to push her to talk so that some of that weight could be lifted off her shoulders? Maybe they could discuss it when they headed home later on in the night. She sighed, shaking the thoughts out of her head and getting up from the bed.

She decided to leave a few minutes later when she was sure that her cheeks were no longer pink. Tzuyu’s chest felt so much lighter now and her stomach seemed like it was a permanent home for a bundle of butterflies at the mere thought of Sana being hers. She returned to see the living room in chaos. Well, it wasn’t really chaos but it was just really crazy. It seemed like someone pulled the alcohol out of the racks and they’d already guzzled down a few bottles. Though, it looked like her and Sana were the only ones who weren’t the slightest bit drunk. The two locked eyes and giggled as their friends belted out depressing love songs around them. This is exactly what they needed at 5pm in the afternoon.

“Come on Sana, you need to join in!” Mina shouted, handing Sana a shot glass. Sana looked at Tzuyu in concern but she just shook her head, indicating it was fine. What was one shot going to do anyway?

Tzuyu found herself wondering if she was going to have to take care of these drunkards so early into the night. Chaeyoung was almost knocked out and her cheeks were already the colour of tomatoes. Nayeon seemed to be lounged over Jeongyeon, whining about something along the lines of ‘am I not pretty’ while Jeongyeon looked like she was going to cry any minute. Mina was the only one still singing her heart out, having Chaeyoung in a headlock. And Sana had disappeared so Tzuyu might have been panicking a little bit inside as she looked around.

Well, it didn’t take long to find her as Tzuyu felt arms wrap around her waist. Maybe one shot was too much for Sana and that’s why she was looking at Tzuyu in concern. Sana had her chin hooked over Tzuyu’s shoulder, snuggling in the embrace. Tzuyu held on to her arms, glancing around in case their friends noticed. She really didn’t want to drop this on them without discussing things with Sana first but it seemed like Sana was the one who was going to give them away with how she was hugging her right now.

Tzuyu was currently confused on what to do in this situation. Was she going to push Sana off or continue letting her hug her? A hug won’t really hurt and it honestly felt super nice but the thing was that there was something slightly bothersome about their embrace. Sana was breathing softly along Tzuyu’s neck and it was not the kind of feeling she needed in the moment. Tzuyu could’ve sworn Sana fell asleep on her shoulder in like a minute? Was that even possible?

“Sana.” Tzuyu called out softly.

“Hmm?” Sana answered, giggling a little bit. “You have cute ears!” She said, pulling on Tzuyu’s ears. Tzuyu couldn’t help but laugh at Sana’s drunk antics.

“I want you to sit down here, okay? I’m going to get some water for you.” Tzuyu commanded, pulling Sana’s grip off her.

“No! Don’t leave!” Sana whined, hugging Tzuyu more tightly. Had she really only had one shot? Tzuyu had come back to the living room quite late so Sana could’ve very well had more shots than it seemed. But, she seemed like she was sober when Tzuyu arrived? Her mind felt like it was going to blow up any minute if she tried to solve this issue.

“I’m just going a few metres away.” Tzuyu explained, pointing to the table.

“Tzu-Tzu can’t leave me!” Sana sulked.

Tzu-Tzu? Tzuyu scoffed at the nickname, refusing to admit that she indeed found it to be the most adorable one she’d ever heard.

Now, about Sana. Tzuyu guessed there was only one solution to getting her sober right now. She didn’t know where Mina’s coffee was placed so anything else was going to have to suffice as she tried to get Sana to comprehend her surroundings. Her continuous giggles were not helping at all.

“Alright, then I guess you’re coming along.” Tzuyu muttered, carrying Sana with her to the drinks table. She poured some water out in a glass, passing it over to Sana who gulped it down quickly. Tzuyu refilled her glass two times before she was finally done, smiling giddily at Tzuyu.

“You know, you’re really adorable. Maybe you can be my girlfriend.” Sana whispered, kissing Tzuyu who was left in shock as Sana walked away from her as quickly as she had kissed her.

“This is going to be interesting when she remembers it all.” Tzuyu muttered, sitting next to Sana. The other four girls were fast asleep and cuddling and while Tzuyu would usually find it adorable, she didn’t find it amusing at the moment.

She kicked Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon, stirring them awake as she glared at the two of them. They looked at Tzuyu in confusion before collapsing on the floor again, ignoring her. Tzuyu huffed, running a hand through her hair in annoyance. What the hell was she meant to do?

Additionally, Sana had dozed off too so now she was left being the only one awake in the midst of all these light weight drinkers. Tzuyu sighed, leaning back against the sofa. They are all meant to use this as a day rest and have fun so maybe she should just let everyone be. Sana whined next to her and Tzuyu realised she was in an odd position. She pulled her up, placing Sana’s head on her shoulder and Tzuyu heard her sigh in content. She was so much like a baby sometimes – or was it just when she was drunk?

Tzuyu chuckled lowly, brushing Sana’s hair out of her eyes as she snored softly against her shoulder. She kissed her forehead, pulling a throw blanket over the two of them as she waited for Sana to be the become sober. She didn’t know how long it was going to take but she hoped it was before any of the other four would wake up otherwise there would be explaining to do – something neither of them are ready to do yet.

Boy, so many things happening in one day – this was going to be a day to remember.

Chapter 17: I don't know how disrespectful Sapphire are to Saida shipper. But I have see 'a lot' of annoying Saida shipper. There's many of them told me to stop shipping Satzu because SaTzu are dead whenever I leave a comment on some Fan account post that posted about Satzu. They even leave a comment on Satzu fmv saying they miss saida and want saida. Also attacking a Once just because he is stating Satzu is the main couple of Twice on one of his video that make him sad. That kind of make me a bit disliked saida interaction even tho I don't want to ㅠㅠ
