Dear diary,

Wow… writing in a diary is a lot more awkward than I thought. I mean I’m writing as if I’m talking to someone. Isn’t that just kind of strange? Actually, questioning it when I’m still writing is even stranger. I’m just going to ignore it and pretend like I’m actually talking to someone.

Anyways, I’m now in my sophomore year of high school and man is it hard. I mean, I kinda expected it to be tougher, as I took as many AP classes as I could, but this is way harder than I expected. I literally didn’t expect that we’d get a quiz on the second day of school! Like, why! Gotta hate those chemistry teachers… Hopefully, I didn’t fail… I’m also in choir and they put me as a soprano, thank god! I can’t sing alto… my voice is just relatively high! I guess I’ll sign up for a sport or something so I can broaden my skills and such… Track is probably the best pick. Literally, everyone does it.

I’m still getting used to this kind of thing so I really don’t know what to talk about… still can’t believe I’m doing this… I thought that it would help me organize my thoughts but it’s only making me more nervous.

First chapter! sorry, it's short... it's supposed to be like a diary so not every entry is going to be long... I kind of wanted to convey the awkwardness people have when first writing in a diary. Anyways, I'm probably going to update this daily or a lot more often because of how short each entry/chapter are.
