The boys and Sohee walked into the boba shop. They were getting to know each other and it was going pretty well. Suho, Lay, and DO was talking about an art exhibition that was coming into town that they wanted to see, Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol was telling each other jokes and other dumb pranks that they pulled on the other boys. Tao, Xiumin, and Luhan were together trying to figure out what they wanted to try first, and Kris and Kai was talking to each other about the town. Kris wanted to know more about the town and what better person to ask than the mayor’s son. Sehun stuck to Sohee of course. They were holding hands as they walked into the shop.

“Welcome to Boba Heaven,” the cashier greeted. Her cheeks flushing red from seeing the 12 boys. Although Kai and his friends aren’t vampires, they had superior looks that if you didn’t know you’ll consider them one as well.

Kai walked over to Sehun and Sohee who were both looking at the menu. “What are you guys getting?”

“Sehun loves chocolate boba so he’ll want that. I’ll just settle for a regular milk tea boba.” Sohee answered. Sehun smiled at the girl. she knew him so well.

“What about you?”

“Hmm, I’ll get choclate as well.”

They paid for their drinks and sat down combining three tables together.

“So, where are you guys from?” DO asked curious.

The vampires looked at each other.

“We’re from China.” Kris said.

“Oh, really? Some of you look Korean though.” Suho said.

“Chen, Sehun, Xiumin, and Sohee are. They were born from Korean parents but they lived in China.” Lay spoke up convincingly.

“Ahhhh.” The boys said. 

“How did you guys know each other?” Baekhyun asked.

“Well we basically knew each other since we were born.” Luhan answered. “Our parents knew each other so then we met. We met Sohee from Sehun though.”

“Do you miss them?”

The vampires looked at Chanyeol who had asked that question.

“Somewhat…its complicated.” Kris said warily. The other boys nodded not wanting to pry.

“What about you 5?” Lay spoke up. “How did you guys meet?”

“Basically the same way. This town is small so everyone knows everyone. Since we’re the same age we just naturally became friends.” Suho answered.

Chanyeol eyed Sohee and Sehun and smirked. “So love birds, how long have you two been together?” Sohee blushed and Sehun cleared his throat and looked the other way.

“Aw they’re blushing!” Baekhyun gushed. The table laughed. Kai gave out a strain smile.

“These two? Don’t get me started.” Chen rolled his eyes. “Our Sehunnie here has the hugest crush on her ever since they were kids but never had the guts to tell her.”

Luhan laughed. “Oh man, I remember when he came to me panicking on how to aks her out. it was hilarious. I never seen out ice prince like that before.”

Lay laughed, “Oh my gosh. One time he begged me to teach him how to make brownies for her and he almost burned my house down.”

The table laughed. “The worst part is we were his guinea pigs to taste them. Those brownies were something else.” Xiumin shuddered. “I don’t think I can ever get that taste out of my mouth.” The whole table continued to laugh when Sehun tried to hide his embarrassed face.

“Stupid hyungs.” He muttered. Sohee chuckled and leaned her head on his arm.

“Don’t worry I think its cute.” She said to him which made him ever more embarrassed and the table laughed harder.

Kai looked at the two interact. They’re really close. They’ve been together for so long. They’re good for each other. But why do I feel unhappy about that?

“Wow, you two are totally different from Kai and Krystal.” Baekhyun said.

“Krystal?” Tao raised an eyebrow.

“Yeah, Kai’s girlfriend.”

DO rolled his eyes. “If you can call her that. its more like Kai is only dating her because everyone wants it to happen. Not because he really likes her.”

“I like her.” Kai spoke up.

DO gave him a look. “Not like a sister Jongin. But as a girl.”

Kai rolled his eyes. “Whatever.”

“Wow bummer.” Luhan said. “My advice, if you don’t like her don’t tie yourself to her. there’s no one making you to do it.”

“Hey, so where do you guys live at?” Baekhyun asked. “I don’t think I see you guys around town a lot.”

“We live near the woods.” Tao said drinking his drink. “About 45 minutes away? Or something like that.”

“Dude thats so far!” Chanyeol exclaimed.

Tao shrugged his shoulder. “We like our privacy.”

“You guys are pretty cool. I thought you guys were all stuck up from how you guys act at school.” Chanyeol voiced out.

Kris rolled his eyes. “Its just the people there gawk at us like we’re a piece of meat. We’re just normal people.” Minus the vampire part. Kris kept that to himself though. The boys and Sohee spent the rest of the day getting to know each other and telling stories. The two groups got closer to each other. The gotten so close that Lay and Xiumin even let Bakehyun and Chanyeol take their cars out for a spin. They promised to see each other the next day at school before they parted ways for the night.
