L couldn’t sit beside you since all of the contestants must sit at the assigned seats for them. You’re still watching the performances even though it’s boring but you tried so hard to not fell asleep but instead you let your mind wander thinking about bunch of stuffs.

Then you felt someone sat beside you. You looked to your right and you saw Zico sat beside you already.

“Mind if we talk for a while?” Zico said in a calm voice. You sensed that he knew already so you just nodded. He got up and you just followed him.

He led you to an empty hallway not far from the gym.

“HyunA and her friends right who did this to you?” He asked as he grab your short hair softly and reluctantly as if he scared that if he touched your hair, you’ll break down.

You just silent and didn’t answer him. “You don’t have to answer it. Because I knew it anyway.” Zico said. You took a glance at him and you saw his expression was like he was hurt and yet there’s anger filled him at the same time.

“How did you know?”

“I’ve got my own way. I swear to God, later after school, I’m going to teach those es a lesson!” He clenched his fist tightly.

You shook your head. “Please don’t. You’ll get trouble. You almost got kicked out from your old school, right? No need. I can take care of this. I promised that if those girls messed with me again, that’s when I’ll take an action.” You explained to him softly.

He softened at your explanation and he let out a big sigh. He ruffled your hair gently. “Tell me if they did something to you again.” You nodded and flashed him a warm smile.

“You looked good in short hair, too. Don’t worry.” He smiled at you and you smiled back at him.

“Don’t forget to watch my performance later. Listen well, okay?” He patted your head before he left you to practice with Kyung.

“Alright, the judges will deliberate and decide who’s the winner for the singing contest. Now, let’s move on to the rap contest.” The MC announced. Zico’s turn was the fourth.

At last, it was his turn. He grinned in a cocky way along with Kyung who’s grinning greasily. But it’s not only the two of them on the stage.

“Yo. I’m Zico, this is Kyung and this one is Taeil hyung. He’s helping us in the vocal. Please don’t expect us singing, well maybe other time if you guys insist.” He gave the audience a wink and the girls were practically swooned over it.

Then a melody was playing throughout the gym.

Then Kyung and Taeil backed off a bit, Zico stood in the middle of the stage and started to rap on his own.

I’ve spent the whole night up with my eyes closed leaving me so tired

I try to keep these meaningless thoughts out of my mind as I pull myself together

The whole audience clapped really hard and cheered for the three of them really hard. You couldn’t help but to blush and fell for his charms as he rapped. He just grinned widely and bow to the audience along with Kyung and Taeil.

You got up from your seat and made your way toward the toilet when Zico suddenly appeared in front of you out of nowhere.

“Oh my God!” You jumped in surprised.

“Sorry, did I scare you?” Zico asked sheepishly.

“Of course!” You glared at him

“How’s my performance?” He asked you greasily. You turned your head the other way around ignoring his gaze.

“Good.” You stated shortly.

He groaned. “Only good? Damn, girl. Why you don’t have any emotions!” He snapped at you.

Before you could say something back to Zico, he interrupted you first. “Anyway, those songs are for you but you didn’t say thank you means you owe me a date! Later, after school wait for me on the front gate. Don’t you dare runaway.” He glared at you and quickly changed his expression into a happy and left you there.

Again for the song, I erased few lines from it to make it suitable :-)
And, yeah the next chapter and so on will be more drama and another twist will be revealed. Get ready and I'll try to update more often since this writer's block kept bugging me. Ugh. I feel guilty :(
