The next few days at school, you were getting closer again with L just like both of you used to and you even not denying your feeling anymore even though you still didn’t have the courage to tell him your true feeling is. But somehow you could felt that you somehow grew distant from Zico.

You were bothered by the fact that you grew distant from him. You greeted him happily yet he only gave you a small smile or just nodded at you and never teased you anymore or even having a long chat with you.

Everytime you tried to pick a conversation with him, he always excused himself to get away from you or he will said that he’s busy and didn’t have time to talk. You couldn’t help but to just nodded at his replied.

L left the market near his house when he spotted someone from afar. He looked at that figure carefully to figure out whether his vision was correct or not. He was hiding behind a wall and peeked over to have a look.

“Yah! You have to pay right now!” A tall buff man growled at the store’s owner as the other man held a wood stick and tapped it repeatedly on the ground.

L squinted his eyes and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw Zico was standing there along with those men who by now threatening the store’s owner. The other guys started to move forward and ready to beat the store’s owner while Zico stayed still on his spot and didn’t move a bit as he fixed his gaze to the ground blankly.

Carefully, L threw a pebble at Zico to make him noticed L. Zico felt a pebble was being thrown at him, he glanced to the right but nothing was seen and he glanced to his left and he saw a figure peeked over by the wall carefully, Zico squinted his eyes and he figured it was L but he was not hundred percent sure.

Then, a man shook Zico’s shoulder. “Yo, let’s go. We’re done here. Let’s head back to headquarter.”

“You guys go first, I had something to take care of. I’ll catch up.” Zico said. The man who asked Zico seemed reluctant to let Zico stayed back but the other man convinced him that Zico will be okay and he won’t runaway.

After those man left, Zico waited for a while before he walked toward the wall L used as his shield. Zico carefully stepped forward. “L? Is that you?” Zico asked carefully.

L got out from his hidden place and showed himself in front of Zico who by now surprised to see L was standing in front of him. He ducked his head down right away and trying to avoid L’s gaze.

“Don’t tell me you’re joining the loan sharks. ~~~ told me everything already.” L said.

Zico stayed silent for a while. He let out a big sigh. “What can I do. My father threatened me. He even got a hold of ~~~’s data and everything.” Zico said helplessly.

L scoffed at him. “I thought you loved her. If you love her, you should’ve fight back your dad! You do know well that ~~~ loathe loan sharks and now you’re one of them. She’ll hate you! She will think that you betrayed her!” L raised his voice.

It was Zico’s turn now to scoff at L. “I do love her. But, she doesn’t. She loves you. It was all written all over her eyes and her smiles toward you for all these times. She only thought of me as her brother. And, now, I’m doing my duty as her brother who protect you and you should do your part to be someone whom she loved dearly.”

L stood there very still, dumbfounded by Zico’s words. Zico didn’t wait for him to reply anything and ready to left him there but then L grabbed Zico’s wrist and it made him stopped.

“You better had a good plan to get rid of your father and to lose yourself from his business.” L stated shortly as he couldn’t help but worried about Zico.

Zico let out a small smile. “Don’t worry. I’m planning things meanwhile. In the meantime, take a good care of ~~~.” Zico then left L.

Zico returned to the headquarter just to showed them that he’s back safe and sound and excused himself to meet the boys. In a while, Zico arrived at Block B’s basecamp. The boys greeted him happily but then grew worried as they saw their leader became much skinnier and more like soulless.

“Ya Zico. What happened?” Kyung asked him.

Zico just shook his head and let out a big sigh.

“Don’t pretend like you’re okay while we could see clearly that you’re not. You better spill them out right now before I made you to.” B-Bomb glared at him while U-Kwon hold B-Bomb’s shoulder to prevent him from barging at Zico and attacked him.

Zico looked around he saw the boys looked worried at him and he told them everything. “So yeah, I’m still trying to figure out how to get rid of him from ~~~ and myself.” Zico said softly as he rubbed his face in frustration.

“Let’s just fight them!” P.O as the maknae blurted out without thinking the consequences and he earned a hit on the back of his head from Jaehyo.

“They were much stronger! We could get killed if we do that, babo.” Jaehyo grumbled.

“We fight them but in the same time we set them up. Clearly, we can’t do this alone, and the only thing we can rely on was the police. I heard it from a friend of mine that the police were trying really hard to capture your father.” Taeil as the oldest finally spoke up.

“That’s why, we need to set it up well so they won’t discover it at all.” Zico said. Soon, all of them were busy spoke their ideas that came on their mind to planned a set-up for Zico’s father.
