Jung Taekwoon pulled his headphones, which had seemed to be glued to his head for the past few hours, off, placing them onto the table beside his glowing laptop. Rubbing his temples, he glared a bit at the unfinished piece of music that say before him, still untouched from the past week or so. God, why did writing, well composer's block his him at this time, a time where his friend was planning a comeback and really needed the music?

   Sighing to himself, the male reluctantly closed his laptop, yawning a bit as he checked the desktop clock, which read the time 2:34 am, which may have seemed to others as extremely late, but with the way Taekwoon lived, it seemed a perfectly good time to finally go to sleep, so he stretched, feeling his cramped joints pop as they were finally used after hours of sitting and typing, and made his way to his bed, scratching at the back of his head as he mindlessly sunk beneath the soft covers of his bed, quickly galling into a sound slumber.

   The unpleasant, sharp sound of what used to be TTaekwoon's favorite song came blaring from his phone, waking the male up three hours later, and he woke with a start. Who could be calling so early in the morning?? Grumbling a bit to himself, Taekwoon reached over, grabbing the device roughly and swiping his pinter finger across the screen, stopping the annoying ringing and he placed the phone delicately against his still ringing ears.

   "Hello? Woonie? Are you there??" Came a familiar voice from the phone thay Taekwoon hadn't heard in years, a voice he had never thought he would hear again. His eyes widened a bit as his brain wrestled the idea that this could really be the person he was hoping it was on the other end of the line.

   "...Hak...Hakyeon hyung?" He tenetively asked, hoping and both cursing the idea of who was speaking to him.

   "Yeah, it's me! Haven't you missed me?" Came the male's Cheerful voice, a voice that Taekwoon didn't even realize he had been missing as long as he had been. In responce, he just hummed, and Hakyeon seemed to take the hint.

   "Well, if you must ask, I'm no longer needed in the army, and I am getting married soon!" Came his excited friend's voice through the phone. Before he could even speak, Hayeon spoke again, his voice on a much more serious tone now than before.

   "Taekwoon, enough about me, what's up with you? Are you married yet?" He asked, his question somewhat catching Taekwoon off guard. He still had time right, a year or so to prevent him having to join the army, right?

   "...I don't need to ye--"

   "Jung Taekwoon, do you know how old you are?" Hakyeon suddenly demanded, tone sharp in Taekwoon's ear. Ah, so the fluffy, friendly Hakyeon was gone, replaced suddenly by this new, war hardened version.

   "I'm 26, turning 27 in a week" He said, his tone sounding definite as he stated his responce. A moment of silence passed before Hakyeon sighed a bit.

   "Taekwoon, have you been living under a rock or something this past year? You are 27 now, and turning 28 this year. 28! You NEED to get married before getting drafted" Hakyeon said, tone turning desperate.

   "But hyung, I've tried and I feel like giving up. None of the girls here are just...my style" Taekwoon lamely said, looking down as he held the phone to his ear, shifting around slightly in discomfort.

   "Then Taekwoon, maybe you don't like girls, try something new, or just do one of those agreement things to protect yourself and some other poor soul who is as old as you are getting" Hakyeon reccomended. Taekwoon was about to answer when he heard a sudden beeping.

   "Yah, I gotta go now Taekwoon. By the time I get back in 4 days, you better know what you are doing or I swear, I'm breaking my Marraige to my boyfriend, and will marry you now and there" Hakyeon claimed before ending the call, leaving Taekwoon with a call tone buzzing in his ear, and a slight smile upon his face. Ah, Hakyeon was such a good friend, always there to protect him. Placing his phone down, Taekwoon figured he should get up and start his day, even if he only got a few hours of sleep. It wasn't like he did anything too labour inducing in his day.

   Lee Hongbin woke up, a smile already on his face as he luxuriously stretched feeling refreshed from the good night's sleep he had gotten. Checking his digital alarm clock, he rose from his bed, quickly going to the bathroom to shower. After showering, he got dressed and headed to his apartment's kitchen, making himself a simple breakfast of fruit and yogurt, quickly eating before grabbing his keys and wallet and rushing to catch the bus.

   Hongbin felt his excitement and anticipation growing to see those adorable puppies and kittens at the pet store he had recently gotten a job at despite being an adult who was 18 years old. With his experience in connecting and sort of "taming" cats, he had quickly landed a solid job in training the kittens and puppies to be sweet, adorable creature's much like he himself was.

   Quickly, Hongbin arrived at his job's location, a smile upon his face as he reluctantly turned off the song he was currently listening to, titled Remember, by the famous rapper and singer duo LR, and stepped off the bus, thanking the driver and making his way to the glass sliding door seperating him from his wonderful new job and life as an adult.
