Mark’s POV

“Nervous?” I ask while grabbing her small hand securely in mine. She stops with her fidgeting and looks at me with a force crooked smile. Obviously, she is still tense. Her palms are starting to get clammy, her face is as pale as a blank canvas with her eyes quickly roaming around the room; all her actions screaming anxious.

“Do not be,” I say, wanting to assure her but I know whatever I do, it will not work; she is far too tense. I plant a peck on her temple, hoping it will at least calm her down even if it is one percent. I give a light squeeze to her hand before using my thumb to caress it.

Mi Joo and I are waiting for a reporter known as Mr. Kim in an all-white vacant room. After having her ankle healed and her personal health issues slowly improving, Mi Joo finally decides to report the case which involves Woo Hyun. Seung Hoon, my manager, has arranged a meeting for us to see Mr. Kim in his main office building.

The room we are in is a meeting room with an all-white design; a white rectangular table where ten people can be surrounded by it, ten white conference room chairs standing very tall with creamy white wallpapers finishing the look of the room. The vibe the room gives are very elegant, very sophisticated, very clean. It is so spotless that it shows the purity of it.

“How can I not be?” Mi Joo replies in a timid voice. Her eyes begin to tremble again, losing its beautiful sparkle. “Are you certain that he is trustworthy enough?” Mi Joo asks in a low whisper, scrunching her nose.

“Yes, my dear,” I sigh. This is the nth time she questions about Mr. Kim’s honesty today. “He will not leak your identity as he will blur out your face. He will change your voice as well. No one will know it is you,” I say, patting her head gently.

Mi Joo looks at me skeptically, not entirely convince. She still has her doubts about Mr. Kim. I cannot blame her for being this way since most reporters tend to not go by their words and write falsified information that the public wants to read. However, Mr. Kim is not that kind of reporter so I trust him in doing a proper job.

After several more minutes of waiting, the man himself arrives in the meeting room, holding a bunch of equipment and a black leather briefcase. Mi Joo and I get up from our seats and greet him, introducing ourselves to him.

“Hi, I am Mark. It is a pleasure to meet you,” I say after Mi Joo has done hers, giving him a firm handshake. Mr. Kim is dressed in a casual suit and tie, looking smart from top to bottom with his black hair smooth out. His sharp features make him stand out from the ordinary as one may mistake him as a celebrity. He wears a pair of thin frame glasses, completing his look.

The man tells us to take a seat as he prepares the interview; setting up the camera on a tripod stand, taking out a stack of papers from his briefcase. Mi Joo and I stare at each other as we witness his movements. Just like his sharp features, his actions are on point and very cleanly done; no fumbles or clumsiness.

“So, I heard a brief backstory from Seung Hoon,” Mr. Kim says as he finishes the last touches of the interview preparation. “It involves a member of Infinite and you.” He looks directly at Mi Joo in which she gulps in response.

Mr. Kim takes a chair and signals Mi Joo to sit on it. “We shall refer to that person as ‘A’ during the interview and no worries, you can trust me. I will not modify any of your sentences and will cover up your identity. Now, shall we begin?” He sits across of Mi Joo, legs crossed with him holding a piece of paper. I, on the other hand, is behind Mr. Kim, smiling at her to keep her nerves down.

Mi Joo nods to Mr. Kim’s question and the latter presses the recording button. She takes a full deep breath with her eyes close to calm her beating heart. She glances at me for a second when she opens it before giving Mr. Kim a firm gaze. His voice is gentle yet impactful as he asks the first question of the interview. “What has ‘A’ done to you?”

Mi Joo fidgets slightly, her hands holding on to the hem of her shirt tightly. My lips curve up to form a reassuring smile when she peeks at me shortly. She is relaxed as of now. Mi Joo starts her tale between Woo Hyun and her. It hurts once again to hear it for the second time. Mi Joo, however, has it harder. Having to recall the painful memories of her sufferings for one mo

Chapter 37: Such a sweet chapter^^. Well I'm happy it turned out great for both of them and that Mijoo is recovering. Ah I can't wait to see what Mark is planning and Mijoo's reaction. Honestly, I skipped the part but overall, I enjoyed the chapter. Update whenever you can!

Chapter 36: Ouh it's quite shocking that Mijoo wants to make their relationship public... Well considering many idols relationship failed after they were discovered, I kinda don't agree about Mijoo and Mark's decision here in this fic. Can they handle the pressure? Most importantly can Mijoo handle Mark's fangirls? They're also idols with lots of fans. But still, I'm happy with this chapter because of Mijoo's courage^^. It's as if she's in the #MeToo movement that's going on in Korea. Great update! Looking forward to more.

Chapter 33: Aw I missed their sweet moments already.. I hope Mijoo can choose what's best for her so that she can be happy in the end but clearly, she's unhappy now. Oh so no wonder, I can somewhat feel there's something different in this chapter. Take your time, write whenever you feel at your best. Your writings reflect your feelings. I hope you can find your inspiration soon. Thanks for the update! Fighting

Chapter 27: Welcome back! It's been a while and I'm glad that you came back with a great chapter^^. Hmm, I'm very afraid of what Woohyun's plotting. It's strange to imagine him like that since he's the sweetest person in real life as well as my bias in Infinite haha. But it's interesting to do so too. Anyway, I hope MarkJoo can still defend their relationship despite this calamity. Mark should learn to control his emotions too because it can be disastrous if he went overboard like he did in this chapter. Thankfully nothing very serious happened. Thanks for the update. Looking forward to the next one^^.

Chapter 25: Yess, this kind of length is perfect considering that this fic is not regularly updated^^ Oh, no wonder she's so hesitant in telling Mark.. Poor Mijoo. But I'm glad Mark is being understanding because I don't think I can take another fight for these two... Initially, when Mijoo suddenly talkes to herself before she told Mark about her past, I thought she was having a psychiatric problem lolo~ But considering her traumatic past, I think she do need to see a doctor. Anyway, thanks for the update! Looking forward to more MarkJoo sweet moments. Fighting!
