151001 – M Countdown

Mark’s POV

‘Mark, Youngjae. You two go to Room Two and there will be a staff to tell you what to do. Get moving now,’ Manager instructed us. Both of us just looked at each other and left the room after wards, without asking manager the reason why so.

When we reached the specific room that Manager told us to go to, we noticed that it was just a normal regular waiting room filled with filming cameras and staff members. The realization hits me and I know the reason why we are being called here. Youngjae and I were needed to film a special something for M Countdown. Unlike the other music shows, M Countdown is more unique and special. They will have the artistes to film as a cameo or sought for an introduction.

One of the staffs approached us and said, ‘So your manager chose the both of you?’ We nodded in response. ‘Cool. Okay so basically you two need to film Lovelyz’s comeback introduction as cameos. All you need to say is Lovelyz and be excited alright?’ the staff continued. Both of us nodded our heads in response once again and we quickly get the filming started. Surprisingly, we finished it in one take and went back to our waiting room. This prove to show that Youngjae and I are future actors to be.

‘Why did you pick us for the filming?’ Youngjae asked our manager once we entered our waiting room. Our manager answered with a simple reply that is because the two of us have a connection with Lovelyz. The connection we have with them is Youngjae is Jin’s friend and I am Mijoo’s. Such a straightforward reason that I could not think of. Soon, we were needed for the pre-recording.

The minute the whole recording was done, I went to Lovelyz’s waiting room. I need not ask for my manager’s permission as he already given me the authority to just go to her waiting room whenever we had the same schedule. The members were a bit bothered about the fact that I kept spending my time with Mijoo and not much with them at first. However, soon they understand my situation when I have a hearty talk with them and now they do not mind as much as last time. They were a bunch of pretty cool and considerate guys in the first place so I knew they would comprehend it well.

‘Hi everyone!’ I said after I entered the waiting room. Lovelyz welcomed me with a smile as always. Just like the normal routine I usually do whenever I visited them, I went straight to Mijoo and with one hand, I swooped it to her face to give her a gentle peck on the lips. Her face reddened immediately due to the fact that I just did that in front of everybody. I do not mind doing skinship when there are people around, it is to show my affection towards her and prove that I really love her. But Mijoo being the paranoid one here, thinks that it is an utter embarrassment and nags to me about it to not just kiss her out of the blue with her members present. Me being me, I do whatever I want whether she likes it or not. But I know that secretly in her heart, she loves it.

I noticed that Mijoo’s eyes were scanning around the room and whenever she does so, I know that she is checking whether the girls had seen the public display affection or not. And oh lucky her, they were all busy doing their own things that they do not even bother about what Mijoo and I were doing in front of them. In all honesty, I believe that they were so used in seeing both of us being lovey-dovey to each other already so I kind of not get it of why Mijoo feels that it is not fine to show it in front of them.

After the whole scanning procedure was over, Mijoo looked back at me with her arms around my neck, pulling me closer to her, our faces just inches apart. See, this is the part that I do not get. First, Mijoo is not fond of me kissing her when her members or basically anyone is around us. Now, she is being touchy with me and I have the urge to kiss her. She cannot blame me since she is the one that is making me like this. Some more, she is also having skinship with me when there are people around when she was the one being caution about it. So I have no idea if she wants to show it or not. This is weird Mijoo everyone, my weird Mijoo.
