150513 – Dream Concert
Mark’s POV
‘Our sister in-law is here!’ Jackson shouted enthusiastically the moment Mijoo enter our waiting room.
 
I went towards her and held both of her hands as I gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
 
‘Ew! Don’t do this in front of us!’ Bambam commented.
 
‘My eyes are going to be blind!’ Youngjae stated.
 
I scowled at both of them. Seeing me like this, Bambam and Youngjae obediently do their own stuff in an instant. Mijoo let out a laugh seeing this scene.
 
‘I miss you,’ I confessed.
 
‘But baby, we just saw each other yesterday,’ Mijoo said.
 
I ruffled my hair, showing her my embarrass smile. My plan failed. I wanted to hear her saying that she misses me too but things didn’t go accordingly.
 
As I was still slightly humiliated by what had happened, Jackson teasingly said, ‘I miss you, Mark. I miss you.’ In response, I gave him a look of displeasure. Noticing the change in my facial expression, Jackson immediately kept his mouth shut.
 
‘Is your performance done?’ I asked Mijoo while swaying both of her arms like a kid and pouting at the same time.
 
Before Mijoo has the chance to answer my question, once again, Jackson just had to open that mouth of his, saying, ‘Aren’t you two being too lovey dovey?’
 
‘Jackson, one more time and I swear,’ I said, obviously annoyed by the fact that he keeps on interrupting the precious time I had with Mijoo. Immediately, he put his both hands up in surrender and zip his mouth tight. I looked back at Mijoo, waiting for her to reply.
 
‘It finish around ten minutes ago. I miss you too so I came here to see you.’ I smiled upon hearing those magic words.
 
‘When are you performing?’ she asked.
 
‘I don’t know. Soon, I guess,’ I answered.
 
As if on cue, one of the staff members told us that we will be on stage in ten minutes. The members and I were having our final touch-up on hair and make-up when I noticed that Mijoo was preparing to leave.
 
‘Are you going to watch me perform?’ I asked her. She bobbed her head in return.
 
Before she leave, I gave her hand a tight squeeze and planted a tender kiss on her soft lips.

As I was waiting for the music to cue, I saw Mijoo smiling and waving to me near the exit. I winked at her and I could see the red spreading across her cheeks, giving me a shy look.
 
Once the music started playing, I do my best in performing just like in any other performance. Somehow, call me insane or what, I could specifically hear Mijoo’s voice screaming and cheering for me despite of the huge crowd that was spurring on.
 
When my rapping in ‘Girls Girls Girls’ came, something went wrong. There was a technical issue during my part. The background music that was playing started to slow down and clearly, I was confused and lost. I tried to continue in spite of the error that was happening but it was of no use. I was obviously pissed and annoyed with the given situation now. Anger was written all over my face.
 
Jaebum took note of my face as he gave me a pat on my back, encouraging me. I looked at the exit, seeing Mijoo telling me that it’s okay. I kept my cool and ignored the fault and moved on.
 
The moment the performance was over, I immediately rushed down to the exit where Mijoo was standing.
 
‘That was one crappy show,’ I said.
 
‘It wasn’t your fault. The technical had gone wrong. Don’t blame yourself,’ Mijoo comfort me.
 
‘But still…’
 
‘Don’t go hard on yourself,’ Mijoo said as we walked back to the waiting room. On the way back, the members consoled me too.
 
We arrived back to the waiting room. We still have to wait for at least one and half hour more for all the performers to perform finish before we can be on the stage again for the ending.
 
The members were fooling around among themselves as per normal while me and Mijoo were at a corner spending time together.
