Chapter 13
FATEDMijoo’s POV
It was in the morning. I was standing outside on the balcony, sipping on a cup of coffee. The sunlit clouds drifted across the clear blue sky. Trees swayed gently in the breeze in the warm sunshine. Fresh air filled my lungs and I felt refreshed and exhilarated.
I was the only one that was awake for now while the rest were still sleeping soundly. Truth to be told, around this time, I’m supposed to be still asleep but because today is a special day for me, I woke up earlier than usual.
As I was enjoying the view outside, I heard the doorbell rang. I quickly dashed towards the door with the cup of coffee in my hands. I spilled some coffee on my way there but I didn’t mind the stain on the floor as I hurriedly scurried to the door, thinking that it will be him.
To my surprise, it was not him when I opened the door. All I saw was a guy standing in front of me, holding onto a bouquet of red roses.
‘Is Lee Mijoo here?’ he asked.
‘Ah, yeah. it's me,’ I replied.
‘Please take this and please sign here,’ he said, giving me the bouquet and letting me have my signature on a piece of document.
I closed the door after the paper-work was all done. I smiled seeing this lovely bouquet.
One by one, the members came to the living room where I was, rubbing their eyes like a child. You could tell that they were still sleepy by the constant yawning.
‘Who was that?’ Kei asked, scratching her disheveled and uncombed hair.
‘It’s nothing important,’ I said. All of them didn’t respond and were just restlessly lying on the couch, not even noticing that I was holding a bouquet of freshly cut red roses.
Yein who was the last person to be in the living room, saw it and asked, ‘Did Mark deliver this to you?’ I nodded my head shyly.
The rest then became aware of it and gathered around me, giving comments such as, ‘So romantic of him’ or ‘I want to have a boyfriend like Mark’.
‘There’s a card here,’ Baby Soul said.
I looked over to where Baby Soul was pointing and took the card. It reads: I’ll pick you up at 6 -Love
‘What did it say?’ Jin asked.
‘He is going to pick me up at six but he did not mention the place he is bringing me to. If he didn’t tell me, how am I supposed to know what to wear?’ I said.
‘Is today a special day for you two or something?’ Sujeong asked.
‘It’s our monthsary.’
‘Then he’s going to take you to a restaurant which means you need a nice dress where I believed that Jiae has a lot of them. You’re willing to help Mijoo right, Jiae?’ Sujeong continued, eyeing on her.
‘Hey, but wait. How do you know that he’s bringing me to a restaurant?’ I asked before Jiae could say anything.
‘It’s common sense! You should know about this type of thing.’ I was speechless when she said that. This girl knows more about love and relationship than me. What is this?
‘Anyways, Jiae, have you agreed on dolling Mijoo up?’ Sujeong asked.
Jiae seemed reluctant to answer. I looked at her with puppy eyes, hoping that she will accept Sujeong’s request. Jiae is the only person I’ve known by far has the best taste in fashion and she has everything, from trench coat to mini skirt to choker, you named it. Every girl would probably want to have her wardrobe.
Seeing that I’ve already had my puppy eyes on, she instantly avoided my gaze. The rest were trying to help me too by pulling on her arm and acting cute straight in her face.
With all that going on, she finally give in.
Jiae brought me to the dresser room where mostly all of her outfits were while the rest of the girls do their own things, leaving Jiae and I alone.
She was searching for something at the very back of the wardrobe. And there, she finally took out the thing she’s been looking for that made my eyes shake for a little.
‘Isn’t this a bit too much? Must I wear this? This is so oh my god,’ I said as I held on to the dress.
‘Oh, come on Mijoo. You have a voluptuous body, you will look great in it. And yes, you must wear this, you have no other choice plus here is a pair of goody which will match perfectly with this dress,’ she said, holding a pair of black velvet heels.
‘Do
