T H E  H O U S E  M A T E

Saeron wakes up feeling dizzy. With her eyes still closed, she stretches her body. She gets up from her bed and then immediately held her head as she felt so dizzy. "I hate this feeling~" she mumbled knocking her head in the process. She growls, forcing herself to stand straight. She opened her right eye while walking towards the door. She was about to go to the kitchen when she noticed a paper on the coffee table at the living room of her house. Saeron continuously knocks her head as she proceeds towards the coffee table. Take this as soon as you wake up. The note said and beside it are two packs of medicine for hangover. She sighed taking the pill as well and then walks towards the kitchen to drink water. Since it was Sunday, she decided to relax inside her house, still not ready for Monday. She had forgotten that she got some papers to do so instead of relaxing as her plan, she is now currently doing her job with the television in the background to keep her company. She once in a while laughs or giggles whenever she heard something funny on the television. With a coffee near her laptop, she types and edits some papers she needs to finish.

Saeron already finished half of her works when he heard her doorbell rang. With a frown on her face, Saeron unwillingly stood up, walking towards her front door. "Yes?" She asked opening her door only to meet Baekhyun's porcelain neck. She looked up to see his face. Yea, that's how short she is. "Hello?" He smiled waving at her. Saeron noticed that he has bags and cases, so she stares on it before her eyes crawled back to his face. With a cheeky smile, he pushes her aside so he could walk in. "Wow, come in!" She muttered sarcastically as Baekhyun already made his way inside her house. Baekhyun thanks her for letting him in that made her left open. Baekhyun held her chin up, so she could close ." Close it or you'll get bugs inside your mouth." He added with a wink. "What are you doing here? And what was that for? Are you going to travel and you just gone here only to ask me what do I like for souvenir?" She asked as he followed her walking inside of her house. Home sweet home, feeling so at home huh!? She thought eyeing the man walking like a girl with his waist waving flawlessly. "Nope, I'm staying here." He said smiling sheepishly making the girl cringed. "What? Who did allow you?" She asked with her hand on both of her waist. "You did." He answered turning around, scanning her place. "And I want to do some a little touch up. I don't like some of your furniture and please, your wallpaper is starting to fall off! Are you really a girl? What's with the interior?" He asked, turning around to eye the girl with a not-impressed look. "Excuse me? Who are you to whine? This is my house, my rules. And puh-lease, I did not allow you. I'm a girl and you're--" "Girl. Continue on what you are going to say and I'll kill you." He interrupted with a sharp glare. "But still, I did not allow you." She whined. She doesn't even know him much for her to let her stay at her house. "Chill, okay!? I am looking for an apartment and since I see the other room here wasn't used then I'm taking it. Don't worry, I'll pay!" He assured, eyeing her furniture. Touching every inch using his forefinger, examining how clean she was. His nose crinkled when dust flew to him. "Eww~ Oh my gosh!" He squealed dusting off himself. "Your house needs some make over…" he trailed before eyeing her. "…and so does the owner." He added looking at the girl with a not pleased expression. Saeron rolled her eyes and then sat back on the couch so she could continue what she is doing. "Nope, I am not allowing you to stay here! I don't know you much, Baekhyun! Wake up, please! I won't let a stranger inside my house." Saeron pointed out. "If you address me as a stranger then you just did. I am inside your house and beside you know my name; we drink together and I kind of know your story so we're not strangers. Duh!?" Baekhyun stated while rolling her eyes, turning around only to walk to the empty room. "I'm gonna change the interior here especially the one that is inside my room." He stated with his hand keeps on doing some weird gestures. "I am not gonna change my mind. You're not staying here." She replied, saving another file before opening another one. "I'll pay you good." He replied with a pout. "If you're that rich, why don't you just avail a room in a hotel? A suite? Or just buy a condo, your own house?" She trailed while editing the file that is flashed on her laptop's screen. "I don't like being alone…" he trailed with a sad tone. Saeron looked only to see his head hung low. She frowned, feeling guilty at the moment. "I am always alone, since I was a kid. My boyfriend just broke up with me. I don't want to feel alone again." He said with a low voice but made sure she could hear him. "Ugh, okay okay! Fine!" Saeron said defeated. "You'll let me stay? Promise?" He asked, only to check if he heard her right, batting his eyes. "Promise." She replied. "No taking back?" He asked. "No taking back. Now shut up, I have to finish my work."
