Chapter 3 - Embarrassment

It's been days since they've last came to Ji Eun's, and the boys had been thinking too much about it, besides the part when their land lord barked at them about not paying the rent on time and threatened to kick them out, which was the problem Kyungsoo mentioned before.  Chanyeol couldn't get over the fact that he might have fallen in love by first touch *is there even such a thing* and since then on, he kept thinking and thinking about her. Of course, Chanyeol was not to blame, Ji Eun is his type ad she was the one who graced upon his eyes, so the poor boy had no preparation to not fall in love, really. At least that's what he thinks. Baekhyun is not that different from Chanyeol, wanting to see her once more, just to prove that he does not have any feelings kept for her. If he likes her, then why isn't he going to the cafe? If he doesn't like her, then why is he thinking about her on a regular basis? Symptoms of having a crush, he thought. While Kyungsoo and Sehun, the two aren't as attached to her compared to the others, but they've come to see other girls being... Less attractive. They're just not right. They'd find themselves comparing other girls to Ji Eun, without them realizing or not. On the other hand, Suho and Jongin aren't specifically thinking of her, but the man who borrowed money from her. They felt trouble, not realizing that they care more than they thought, they've decided to visit the cafe once more after proper investigation of where the cafe is actually placed.

"Here we are again," Jongin heaved a soft sigh, looking at the door. "There are customers inside," Sehun looked through the windows beside the door. "What's wrong, Yeol? Breaking cold sweat?" Baekhyun grinned, seeing Chanyeol gulping too often, face red and feeling hot as he fanned himself. "I-I'm fine!" Chanyeol barked, glancing at him before facing the door once again. "Let's go in then--"

"Wait!" Chanyeol stopped Suho's hands, causing the boy to blink in confusion. "Let me-- Let me breathe for a minute," the giant sighed, turning around before taking deep breaths. Suho slightly narrowed his eyesat the giant before facing the door and opening it, casuing Chanyeol to jolt in surprise. "Ji Eun!" Baekhyun called as he looked around the room. "Shh!" Kyungsoo slapped his head before putting his finger on his lips, scowling at the boy. Baekhyun chuckled goofily before noticing a familiar figure.

"Ji Eun!" the said girl turned her head and widened her eyes when she noticed Baekhyun waving his arm wildly with a big smile, the others just smiling with the exception of Chanyeol who was averting his gaze nervously. A sweet smile grew on her face, walking towards them as she waved her hands at them. "W-what brings you here?" Ji Eun asked with wide eyes. "We just wanted to pay a visit," Jongin smiled. "Mind if we stay here?" the tanned skin boy asked with a glint of mischief in his eyes. "Please take a seat," the girl nodded, pointing at the table behind her. Jongin frowned and earned a whisper from Kyungsoo, "Your smiles won't work on a girl like her, kid," he pat on his shoulder before joining the others to sit down. Jongin could only make up a stoic look, Sehun pulling him to take a seat. 

"Here are the menus, please take a look. Excuse me," Ji Eun bowed her head before heading to one of her waiters. The boys glanced at her and the menu back and forth. "Is she arguing with him?" Baekhyun whispered to the others as he eyed them. "It's more like he's arguing with her," Kyungsoo narrowed his eyes. Chanyeol gulped as he started to notice Ji Eun backing up from the intimidating waiter. "Should we help her?" Chanyeol turned his head to the others. "I think so. Hyung, we- Suho hyung? Where did he go?" Baekhyun widened his eyes when he saw the person beside him disappear. "There," Sehun muttered, earning his friends' attention.

"Is there a problem here?" Ji Eun and her staff turned to see Junmyeon with an unamused look. "N-nothing..." Ji Eun shook her head. Junmyeon took her stutter as a bad sign. He glanced at the somewhat embarrased waiter before gently smiling at Ji Eun. "We're ready to take our order," Junmyeon said. "Oh, uhm, could you wait for them?" Ji Eun turned to her staff. The waiter rolled his eyes before nodding. "Great, I'll be with the other customers," she smiled before scurrying off to another table. Suho eyed the waiter before sitting back with the others. 

"What would you like?" the waiter asked gloomily. "Enthusiasm," Baekhyun muttered at him. "Manners," Kyungsoo eyed him head to toe, noticing how poorly dressed the waiter is. "Why are you waiting us? I don't like you," Sehun bluntly said, grumbling. And for once, nobody elbows or hits Sehun for his rudeness. The waiter sighs, "I don't get paid enough for this..." he muttered to himself before pulling out his pencil. "May I recommend the chamo--"

"I won't be taking anything from you, we'll order by ourselves," Baekhyun cut in as he kept reading through the menu. The waiter rolled his eyes and shook his head. After they purposely spent a whole ten minutes to order, they let the waiter go and spare him from themselves. "Isn't he the guy who borrowed money from Ji Eun?" Baekhyun glanced at the said girl. "I think so," Chanyeol shrugged. Suho glanced at his friends, back at Ji Eun, and set his eyes on the waiter they've been messing with. "I'm gonna go to the restroom," Chanyeol stood up and strut to the restroom. Jongin and Sehun shared glances with each other. "Hey, we're going to check on our orders, kay," Jongin pulled Sehun from his seat. "Yeah, sure," Kyungsoo mumbled, and Baekhyun was already motioning them to leave without averting his eyes from the menu. Jongin and Sehun shard a grin before waking towards Ji Eun who was standing beside the service station. "Ji Eun," Jongin poked her. Sehun and Jongin stepped back a bit after they heard the petite girl squeak from surprise, jolting. "Y-yes? Is there anything you need?" Ji Eun covered her embarrasment with a shy smile. "Hmm... Sort of," Sehun had his hands behind his back, tilting his head. "So, we've noticed that the cafe is a short on employees," Jongin leaned against the wall, a smirk on his face. "Not really, we have two employees excluding me, but my friend always come to help out, so I think we're okay," Ji Eun smiled to herself. Jongin and Sehun gave a stoic look. "I think she rejected us before we even asked her about the job," Sehun whispered to him. Jongin huffed as he pushed Sehun away.

"Yeah, about that," Jongin turned to see the customers inside. "T
