Chapter 20 - The Lackey

"Something is up," Baekhyun rubs his chin. 

"Something is totally up," Sehun nodded. 

"Do you think something... intimate happened when they were gone?" Jongin turned his head to them. 

"I doubt it," Kyungsoo shook his head. 

"Then why does he look so happy?" Chanyeol questioned. 

The boys watch as Suho paid the delivery man his money and brought over their Chinese order to the dining table where the boys were. He pulled out bowls of black bean noodles for each of them, surprising them that he even spent some extra money to buy them side dishes along with the noodles. Usually, Suho would just buy three bowls and make them share, but tonight he spent the money to buy for each of them. 

"Hyung," Sehun calls the older awkwardly, watching as Suho unwraps the plastic off the bowl. "Are you  sick by any chance?" 

"Why would you ask me that, Sehun?" Suho frowns a bit. 

"Well," Baekhyun looks back down to his bowl of noodles. "It's just weird to see you... spending so much money," 

"On us," Jongin added. "Spending them on us," 

"If you don't want them then I'll take them back," Suho reached for Chanyeol's plate, to which the taller swatted his hands from. 

"Hey! I didn't say anything," Chanyeol exclaimed, guarding his bowl with his large hands. 

"How was it with Ji Eun?" Kyungsoo asked as he poured water for them. "Did you get her a dress?" 

"No," Suho shook his head. 

The boys knit their brows in confusion. "No?" Baekhyun frowned. 

"We, uhh," Suho stopped eating to search for the right words. "There was a dressing room incident," 

"What kind of incident?" Sehun lifted a brow. 

"Maybe Suho hyung confessed to her in the dressing room," Baekhyun joked, laughing with the others in delight. 

However, Kyungsoo noticed the still expression on Suho's face as he was hit dead on. "You didn't," Kyungsoo muttered. "Tell me you didn't," 

"Didn't what?" Jongin turned to him. 

"Suho confessed to her," Kyungsoo replied. 

They whipped their heads to him. "You confessed to her?!" Chanyeol's voice was the loudest of them all. 

"You better eat, your noodle will bloat," Suho mentioned, ignoring his question. 

"Hey, we asked you a question!" Baekhyun reminded him. 

"I'm going to eat in my room, I have papers to mark," Suho excused himself to the dismay of the boys. 

That demon really is a step ahead of them.

However, Suho knew that he wouldn't be able to avoid his idiotic friends for long, since he had to leave his room sooner or later. The moment he left his room, he was bombarded with questions. In the living room, Baekhyun already had his arms crossed and eyes narrowed at him. 

"Well?" Baekhyun spoke in a demanding tone.

"Well, what?" Suho lifted a brow, not moving his eyes from the TV.

"How could you ignore us?!" he exclaimed. "Did you really confess to her? What did she say?"

"One at a time, please,"

Sehun suddenly appeared, seeing that Suho was finally out . "What happened in the mall?!"

"What the hell, lame . I asked him first," Baekhyun hissed at him. 

"Oh, sorry shortcake. Didn't notice you were here due to your tiny excuse of a body," Sehun retorted, not swayed from the older's comment. 

Suho pinched the bridge of his nose. He knew this was going to happen sooner or later. As Baekhyun and Sehun continued to bicker, Suho slid away to the kitchen to cool himself with a glass of water. Turns out that Jongin was in the kitchen, a cold glass of water in his hands. He was leaning against the fridge, a judging look on his face, but Suho's stoic expression wasn't going to lose to him. 

"Is this what you're looking for?" Jongin glanced at the cold glass. "It's the last glass of water left,"

"What do you want this time, prick?" Suho muttered. 

"Are you really serious about Ji Eun?"

Suho lifts a brow, "Do you expect me to come to her with half hearted feelings?"

"Just wasn't expecting you to develop feelings that quick," he shrugged. "Besides, we had a deal,"

"No one is dumb enough to make deals with all of you," Suho snickered.

"Then you're just not as smart as you thought you were," Jongin chukled. "We made a deal about sharing, remember? What's mine is yours, what's yours is mine,"

"Then give that glass to me," Suho muttered. 

"This deal also regards to girls, hyung,"

"Garbage. Ji Eun is a person, not an object,"

"Who said this rule applies to objects only?" Jongin snorted. "It applies to anything or anyone, especially if we all have eyes for it. That's why Sehun and I shared girls back in college," he smirked. 

"How rich," Suho clicked his tongue. "And if Ji Eun only wants one of us?"

"That's for later," Jongin placed the glass on the counter. "What we have to do know is make her notice our feelings, not yours only,"

"Hey, every man for himself," Suho moved to grab the glass. 

"Yeah, yeah," Jongin smirked.
