horror n/a available credit there is a prestigue insane asylum that is set for teenagers  with a 100% percent rate and flawless performance. patients come in crazy, and leave completely normal. due of it's high standards, parents need to put their teenagers through a set of tests to determine whether the asylum can properly help them. little does the outside world know, that the patients are students, and they're not insane; they're gifted. the "insane asylum" is actually an academy that finds supernatural teenagers dubbed as "crazy" and teaches them how to use and control their powers.

this would probably work best as an au roleplay if you don't want to develop the plot any further, and people can choose  what powers they have, what their family is like to them, etc. as an applyfic, you can create certain plotlines for applicants. if you want it as a general fic (like I had thought of it as), then you can add a little more to it to make it more interesting. my initial idea was to add in a murder at the school, and a bunch of friends have to band together and use their powers to save the academy.

romance is possible, but not required. horror would work if you go down the murder road. this would also fall under the supernatural/fantasy genre but I couldn't fit that into the box
