You and Me

Another day at school and people were already crowded around the gates when a limousine came in and the Jung princesses got off. The older one of the two was quick to brush the people off and was soon with her group of friends while the younger one didn't bother and waved to the people, feeling as if she was walking down the red carpet. At the end of the crowd, she was joined by her own group of friends. "Ey, Krys! You have a new shirt. It's so cute!" Sulli squealed like a child as she lightly poked the younger girl's arm. "I bought it yesterday, actually. Me and unnie went shopping." She informed proudly as they entered the campus. But it wasn't long before the queenka's eyes fell upon a certain figure at the other side or the corridor.

Krystal Jung was known for her good looks and name. Everyone adored and looked up to her, basically worshiping her as if she were a goddess. But there was one person that happened to ignore her entire being. And that was Kwon _____. _____ is a smart girl and so, when Krystal had asked her a favour with her projects once before, all she received was a blank stare before the girl walked away. And it simply pissed the princess off. No one has ever had the guts to do that to her. So when she went after the brunette one day and confronted her, she was dumbfounded by her response. "You may have everyone at the palm of your hand, but I'm not like them. I don't need to follow someone who knows and does nothing that is unnecessary." After that day, _____ was branded as the social outcast thanks to Krystal. Everyday, Krystal made sure to make her regret talking back to her and wanted to make her beg for forgiveness. But not once did the latter give in.

"Hey _____!" Amber hollered once they reached the girl's locker. "....." The girl didn't respond and just continued to fix her things. "Yah! Are you deaf?" Luna crossed her arms before Krystal slammed the locker shut. Luckily, _____'s reflexes were quick and she had pulled her hand away. "What the hell are you even wearing? Are you poor or something?" The Jung mocked. "You look as if you came from the trash." Sulli shook her head. "Do you have any clue what fashion is?" Krystal peered at the girl's face with a grin. "Oh, I almost forgot, no one will care even if you tried." They laughed while the eldest of them just shook her head. "You girls sometimes act like kids, I swear." Victoria mumbled. "Hey. Need another lesson here?"

Krystal turned her head and smiled more as she saw Kai, another one of her friends. A lot of people had actually started thinking the two were dating, but Krystal didn't find him all that interesting even though it was obvious that Kai showed interest in her. She just lets him be without caring. "Maybe you can knock some sense into her?" Amber chuckled while the boy just smirked and cracked his knuckles. "Of course I can." Krystal just stepped back and watched, though she wasn't sure what she felt about the idea. But when Kai threw a punch, they were all surprised when his fist got caught and he was suddenly on the ground with _____ gripping his arm behind his back.

"! Let go dammit!" People had watched the group from afar and it was obvious that the male was humiliated after being thrown down by the social outcast. "If that's all you have to say, I have classes to head to." The brunette stated flatly before walking away as she released Kai's arm. The resident princess grunted and glared at the retreating figure's back as she slowly disappeared from view. She was frustrated because she could see that her plans of humiliating ____ wasn't at all scaring the latter. Every time she would try something, the girl always had something to shoot her back down. And it just added up to her frustrations. "Come on. We have enough time to mess with her later."

It was around 6 when Krystal was on her way out of the campus. Usually, on Fridays, she would stay behind to practice in her club while everyone left. She enjoyed being alone at times, especially at school because the area was wide, but people usually crowded around her, which made her fail to roam about. As she was on her way to the gates, however, two people came up behind her and grabbed her arms. One of them placed a bag over her head as she struggled, dropping her things in the process. She heard both of them whispering to themselves, but couldn't hear it clearly as it was muffled by the bag. When she was shoved into a van that was waiting just outside, Krystal heard someone shout just before the door shut. "Yah! What do you think you're doing?"

Heart racing and thoughts rushing, Krystal breathed heavily as she tried to calm herself and think of what she could possibly do to escape, but her hands were bound behind her back and all she could see was pitch black. "Whoever the hell this is, I'm going to make sure you kiss your sorry goodbye!" She hissed under the bag, only to hear someone laughing behind her, which was the driver of the vehicle. Minutes after, there was a thud and the doors closed. "This brat's really a handful." One of them grunted while rubbing his jaw. "Why did you take her? We only came for the Jung." The driver scolded. "What were we supposed to do? She saw us." The two of them started bickering about their predicament and the driver ordered to get rid of the latter, but the third person called for their attention after rummaging through the unconscious person's things. "This is the Kwon kid. We can get double the fortune with her." He suggested. "Which one?"

"The little golden maknae."

Krystal's eyes widened after hearing that and she started to wriggle about again. "We're rich for sure. The Jung and Kwon maknaes, it's hitting two birds with one stone." The three laughed as they left the are.

'If only I was as flexible as Vic unnie, I'd probably be able to get this stupid bag off me.' It's been almost an hour and a half since they left and Krystal was starting to grow anxious. It's also been that long since _____ has been unconscious so she wanted to know if the girl was at least alive or else she'd be in that hell, alone. So, as a resort, she leaned slightly forward and tried to shake the bag off. But during her struggling and squirming attempts, she had accidentally kicked someone in the process, making her stop movement all together. She heard a groan.

"What..." She knew that voice and she felt relieved to know that the other wasn't dead. "Pabo. What are you doing?" Krystal hissed from under the bag and _____ looked up to see the baby ice princess' state. She tried moving, but similar to Krystal, her hands were tied behind her back, minus the bag over her head. Without thinking, the brunette pushed herself up before she went to take the bag, biting the top part before she pulled it off.

Krystal opened her eyes, allowing them to adjust to the light before her eyes landed on the latter. Her eyes widened partially and a gasp nearly fell from her lips when she took in the other's look. A busted lip, slightly swollen cheek and a cut on her right cheekbone. "What the hell... You tried to fight them?" She couldn't contain her shock after seeing the other's display. "I was trying to help." Was all the brunette answered before she started to fiddle with her restraints. "You only gave them a reason to take you with them." Krystal continued to nag, but _____ simply ignored her.

"Yah! Are you even-" but before she could finish her rant, the taller female grabbed one of the kidnappers by the neck and took his gun before hitting the back of his neck with it and threw a quick punch to the other before he was able to process what was happening. "Yah! What do you think you're doing, brat?!" The driver yelled from where he was before _____ grabbed the gaping Jung and kicked the doors open before she jumped out. She knew it was risky, but that was the only thing that she could have thought of in their situation. But she didn't expect that they'd end up rolling down the side of a hill.

During the drop, _____ kept her arms tight and secure around the blonde and had hit her shoulder against the tree's trunk, allowing them to finally come to a halt. Krystal's eyes were closed tight the whole time, and when _____ released her as soon as they stopped, she slowly lifted her gaze before meeting the battered figure before her. "You're.... insane."

But the comment was brushed aside when the taller girl walked behind the Jung and untied her wrists. After that, she took a step back and tilted her head. "Gwenchana?"

"I'm al- speak for yourself. You're bleeding for heaven's sake!" Krystal shot up and panicked when she saw the blood dripping down the side of the brunette's forehead. "It's just a scratch. I'm not dying." She reassured calmly before looking around. There were no signs of roads or the city anywhere, only trees and a river not too far away.

"Let's go. If we start walking now, there's a better chance we'll find a path soon." She stated and started to walk, lightly rubbing her shoulder as she went. But Krystal stayed where she was and gave the other a blank stare. "Why should I listen to you?" _____ stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder. "Those guys came after you. If I didn't know any better, they'd most likely be looking for you as we speak. So you can choose to stay here and be taken back or start walking so we can find a way home."

Krystal grumbled under her breath while sitting against the tree, arms crosses while _____ fixed up a fire to cook some of the fish she had managed to catch earlier. "How do you know how to do all that?" Krystal couldn't help but ask as sue stared at the busy girl. "My appa would teach us whenever we go out on vacation. Initially, it was me and my unnie and oppa, but their interests drew elsewhere so I was the only one left to learn." She explained without looking at the baby Jung. When _____ turned and handed her some, she took note of the slight shake of Krystal's shoulders before she sighed and took off her jacket.

A look of surprise came to the blonde's face, but that quickly turned to one of shock when she saw the many scratches and bruises over the brunette's exposed skin. If she was able to take the shirt off, she was sure there were more. "Yah! Are you clumsy or something? What's with all the injuries?" But the girl only spared her a glance and focused on the food in front of her, taking a bite before she spoke. "These aren't accidents."

Krystal's brows furrowed as she stares at the various damages. "They're from school... Mainly, you." Blinking, Krystal looked up and saw _____ not looking at her. "After you, everyone else just followed, stating it was what I deserve for talking back and showing disrespect to you." She explained calmly as she continued to eat. "You have a strong influence on people, but unlike you and them, I know how to be and fend myself." Krystal was about to say something, but seeing _____ suddenly made her feel like crap. So she shut and silently ate her food.

Four days passed by and the pair were still searching for their way back home. During their time together, _____ took the role of looking after the shorter girl and did her best to keep her secure and fine. "Hurry! Before get soaked." Krystal climbed atop _____'s back and held the jacket over their heads to keep them shielded from the rain as the latter ran to look for shelter. They had managed to hide under a tall and large tree just before the rain poured.

"Gwenchana?" Krystal nodded lightly as _____ carefully examined the cut on her cheek before sighing. She got up and ripped her shirt's sleeve before quickly running to the river and soaking the torn piece of clothing then ran back to Krystal's side. "Yah! You're all wet. What am I gonna do if you get sick?" But all the brunette did was carefully press the soaked cloth against Krystal's cheek, making he latter hiss at the stinging sensation. "Mianhe." And as _____ continued to gently treat the wound, Krystal had a good look on her face, frowning slightly at the various marks on her once flawless face.

"There you go." _____ showed light smile before she got up and looked around. "I'll just look for some wood." She informed, but before she could take a step, the blonde took her wrist and clung to it. "Don't go... Please?" Surprise overcame the brunette's face, but it left just as soon as it came as she replaced it with a light smile. "Don't worry, I'll just look for something to keep us warm. I'll be beside you before you go to sleep." Never in her life did she imagine Krystal asking her to stay with her.

So as the fire soon settled, both girls huddled together under the tree and Krystal tightened the jacket around herself before resting her head on _____'s shoulder while the other wrapped her arms securely around her slim waist.

"How long do you think we'll be stuck here?" Krystal asked while trying to balance on the log as she walked. "I'm not too sure. Hopefully we can find a way or someone to help us." _____ offered a hand as they reached the end of the log and Krystal took her hand before hopping off and instantly lacing her fingers with the latter's. "..... Do you want to go back?" As much as Krystal wanted to go back home, she wanted things as it is with _____. Here, it was just the two of them and she was able to learn a lot about the brunette and grew attached without realizing. Back home, everyone that knew _____ hated and resented her because of her own selfishiness and immaturity.

"Well, a part of me does, but somehow, I like it here. But I have a family that's worrying about me, just like you." The blonde felt a light squeeze on her hand and she craned her head slightly, only to see a warm smile on the other's face. "We'll still see each other, everyday, actually." While saying so, _____ used her free hand to lightly brush the hair covering the baby Jung's face. "We'll be alright." Krystal bit her lip anxiously and nodded before they heard the sound of crunching of leaves and the honking of a car not too far away. Instinctively, _____ pulled Krystal behind her as her free hand hovered over the gun in her back pocket. But as soon as she saw a familiar black car in front of them, her eyes widened.

"Soojung! _____!"

Once the car stopped, two figures came rushing out, one had puffy red eyes with fresh tears spilling from them once she had engulfed her younger sister in a tight yet gentle hug. The other walked up to the brunette and cupped her face before she pulled her body against herself. "Where have you been... Pabo, we've been looking everywhere for you."

Jessica, on the other hand, sobbed as she held Krystal in her arms and rocked her slightly from side to side. "I was so scared when you didn't come back. I thought you were just with your friends but when everyone tried to contact you, no one could reach you." She hiccupped and Krystal smiled as she wrapped her arms around her sister. "I'm alright Unnie. I'm here." She whispered before Yuri called their attention. "Sica, we need to get them to the hospital, now." Both Jungs looked and Krystal instantly panicked when she saw _____ being carried by her Unnie, unconscious. "Alright. Soojung-ah, come on." Jessica took her sister's hand and led her inside the car. "Just place her in the passenger's seat. I'll stay at the back." Yuri nodded and did as told before they drove off. During the entire car ride, while Jessica was looking at her sister for her injuries, the younger one couldn't help but steal glances at the sleeping figure.

When Krystal came back to school, she was bombarded with various concerned looks. But somehow, the baby ice princess was distracted. She kept looking around, but failed to see anything outside the crowd of people. "Oh, that's a cute jacket Soojungie. It looks good on you." Her friends complimented, but in reality, it was the same jacket they had mocked _____ with. Krystal had yet to return it since she grew attached to the garment. It reminded her of the brunette and it made her feel safw and warm. Soon enough, she started to grow suffocated with the people around her. That's why she was relieved when the bell rang and everyone quickly headed to their classes. But as soon as the hall was clear, she hears laughter coming somewhere else. Her eyes narrowed when she saw at least four people hidden by the lockers. But when she saw who was with them, she didn't hesitate on marching over, displeasure clear on her face.

"Did you actually think that you could hurt Krystal and walk away with it? We oughtta teach you a lesson!" A boy with dirty blonde hair yelled while slamming his fist against the locker right next to _____'s head. The girl didn't flinch, instead, stared at the four with a blank face. She had a few bandages on her face and arms while also wearing a shoulder brace. The cut on her lip was hard to miss and the slight purple shade on her cheek wasn't as bad as when she and Krystal were still lost. "Yah! What are you doing?!"

An angry ice princess glared at the boys with her arms across her chest. The four quickly stepped away and Krystal managed a good look at the other, feeling a slight tug in her heart when she saw her state. "Krystal-ssi, we were just telling her to think twice if she ever plans on coming near you." The raven haired informed proudly, but the blonde simply scoffed. "Get lost, now! Or else you're going to regret interfering." The four paled and nodded hurriedly before running to their classes. Krystal watched them off before her gaze softened as she turned to the other. "Gwenchana?"

In all honesty, it suddenly started to hurt now that Krystal knew that she was the sole purpose of the latter's bullying. "I'm okay. You should be in class." The brunette collected her things from the floor and Krystal quickly helped her pick them up. "You need help." The blonde argued quietly. "I'll be okay, don't worry." But still, the shorter of the two pestered her before silence settled between them and they both headed to class. This time, unlike usual, Krystal sat beside the brunette and would often check on her. When lunch came, Krystal hurriedly ran after the brunette, who was the first to exit, but was quickly pulled by her group of rriends.

"What's up with you? I thought she was the outcast?" Sulli crinkled her nose while crossing her arms. "Yeah. Was the kidnapping that bad that you're clinging to her now?" Amber raised a brow. But all their questions earned a glare before she spoke. "You don't know her like I do. Now, I have to go." Without waiting for a reply, she grabbed her things and scurried off, hoping to find the latter as soon as she could before anything bad could happen.

"Yah! Kai, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Krystal's eyes widened when she saw said male towering over _____ as she laid on the ground and clutching her injured shoulder. The boy looked up and smirked. "Nothing. I thought she just needed a little wake up call." But that answer gave the boy a slap on the face before Krystal worriedly checked on the brunette. "Are you ing stupid? She's already injured and you think this is funny?!" The boy was dumbfounded by the baby ice princess' outburst and held his hands up. "Why are you getting so mad? I'm just doing what you wanted."

"I never wanted this!" Krystal felt a hand clutching hers before she looked down and saw _____ looking at her. "It's okay." Krystal helped her up and supported her as she glared at the boy before cupping the taller female's cheek and wrapping her other arm around her neck before drawing their lips together.

Everyone gasped and started murmuring as they witnessed what was happening until Jessica and the other girls came. "What's going on?" Yuri asked while looking around before Jessica tugged on her hand. "Mwoya?" Her eyes followed her girlfriend's gaze before her eyes widened, but softened when she saw their sisters together. "Would you look at that." Taeyeon mused. "I never thought I'd see the day where Soojung will warm up to our baby Kwon." Tiffany grinned. "Man, it's like another version of YulSic." Hyoyeon crinkled her nose. "But these two look cuter." Sooyoung commented with a nod, making Jessica glare at the shikshin and Yuri yo smack her head.

Once Krystal pulled away, _____ looked at her without a word. And for the first time, Krystal turned shy as heat crept up her cheeks and she lowered her head. "Don't stare at me like that, pabo." Despite her shyness, Krystal smiled as she felt arms around her, something she had grown fond of, and a kiss being pressed against her forehead. "I didn't think you'd ever do that."

"Neither did I."

Okay, so this isn't technically a request, since I just thought it would be cool. But to those who requested a Krystal one shot, here you go! I just hope you all liked it, in a way. I'm working on another one, so I'll try to finish it as soon as I can! That's all for now.
