Also I'm sorry but some parts may me a bit unnerving so you don't have to read them due to some abuse and too much vulgar language.

"You're such an ungrateful person! I bet you even slept with other guys and that child isn't even mine!" You wrapped your arms around the little girl that was cowering and shaking in fear. Areum was the name of your daughter. She was a very bright and smart girl despite her age. But the problem was the environment she grew up in was never the best.

Jackson was her father. (Dont kill me.) You don't really know what happened. You were both happy before, but along the way, he started to become cold and distant until he found out you were pregnant with his child. He became harsher, even going far as hitting you. You had left him a few months after that since it was hard for you to deal with. You managed to get to your cousin, Tiffany Hwang.

She was there for you when you were pregnant, along with her girlfriend, Jessica Jung. The time you spent with the girls, the closer you became. Jessica treated you just like her sister, Krystal. You became the best of friends.

It was all good. You gave birth to your little girl and named her Areum and lived happily with her and your cousin. But it all went downhill when Jackson barged in one day and demanded you hand your daughter to him. But you refused. He didn't even want to have a child.

That's why you were here now. You had to pay just to keep Areum safe and Jackson satisfied. You were tired, but you had to do this for the sake of your daughter. "Tch. Whatever. Just take her back her after two weeks. You try anything and I'll make sure you'll wish you were never here." That was all he said before slamming the door and driving away.

"Umma." You look down and sigh before wiping the tears from your daughter's face and kissed her forehead. "It's okay baby. Umma is here." You whispered and pick her up as you stood. You were glad Jackson didn't hit you or leave any marks like before. If he did, Tiffany would freak out if she saw you during your meeting later on. She said that she was going to accompany you to the company you worked in. Of course, you also worked part-time in a cafe to add the money you had. Jackson sure was making your life a living hell.

"Let's go wash up. Aunty is waiting for us." You cooed your daughter and headed to the bathroom and freshen up.

"Youngie!" You were quickly engulfed in a warm and tight hug as soon as your cousin spotted you. Jessica was right behind her and smiled while waving at you. "Hello aunties." Areum giggled when she saw them. "Hello cutie. How are you my adorable little niece?" Tiffany then took her in her arms and kisser her cheeks. "I'm okay aunty. But umma." Areum showed the couple a frown and you sigh.

"Waeyo? Did something happen?" Jessica asked and looked at you. "It's nothing unnie. I'm just a bit tired is all." You smiled slightly while rubbing your neck. "Ani. That man shout at umma." Areum told the two. "Mwo?" Tiffany frowned and handed Areum to Jessica. "Baby, can you take her around for a while. I need to talk to _____." Tiffany told her girlfriend.

Of course, Jessica knew what they would talk about and agreed. "Arraseo. Call us when you're done." She pecked her lips then carried Areum around.

A silence settled between you and your cousin, making you fidget slightly as you stood. "Unnie..."

"_____, this has to stop." Again, a sigh escaped your lips. "Unnie, we talked about this. I can't just take Areum freely. Jackson has the right." You told her. "No, he doesn't. _____, he's hurting both you and Areum. I can't stand it. You deserve so much better. He didn't even want Areum in the first place. Sue him so you can be at peace." She tried to reason with you. It was like this almost everyday, if not Jessica or Krystal.

"Unnie, you know I can't. I don't have that much money to secure both me and Areum." You explained for the millionth time. "But me and Sica-"

"I know. But I can't do that unnie. It would be a huge debt and I can't let you and Sica unnie take responsibility for me and Areum." You told her. "But Youngie. You aren't a bother. Me and Sica love you a lot, same for Areum. You don't have to repay us either." Tiffany tried to persuade you. "Unnie, please stop. I already told you guys no. I appreciate what you're trying to do, but please."

Tiffany looked at you with a frown and sighed. "I'll keep looking for a way. I promise." She then hugged you tightly and kissed your head. "Gomawo unnie... and mianhe for troubling you so much." You mumbled against her shoulder. "You're not trouble silly. I just love you so much that I can't help worrying." She ruffled your hair as she let go.

After your talk with your cousin, you then went off and took Areum with you to your designated area. You only had a couple hours so Areum wouldn't get too bored. "Umma?" You looked down at the child the called you. "Areum hungwy." She showed you a pout that made you giggle and then let her sit on your lap. "Hmm. What does my baby girl want to eat?" You ask while nuzzling her.

"I want ice cweam!" She cheered. "It's ice cream." You corrected. "But baby, you haven't eaten lunch yet. You have to eat something else before ice cream." You told her. "Bibimbop!" She clapped her hands. You just had to smile at the sight and kissed her head. "Arraseo. Umma will get you food. But stay here. I will call aunty to stay with you." You smiled as you gently placed her on the couch while picking up your phone.

"Unnie. I need you to watch over Areum for a bit. I need to buy her food." You informed the girl as she picked up. "Oh. A-Alright. I'll be there in a bit. Just... Just go ahead." Tiffany panted before she quickly hung up. You simply shook your head in confusion then faced your daughter. "Okay. Aunty will be here in a few minutes, so behave arrachi?" Areum nodded with a smile. "Nae umma!"

You finally arrived at your table after almost half an hour from getting Areum's food. It was very crowded and you had a few problems on the way back.

"I'm back!" You announced before blinking when you saw Tiffany sleeping on the couch. You giggled and took a picture of her before looking around as you placed the plastic on the table. "Areum?" You scanned the area and panicked before shaking Tiffany awake. "Unnie. Where's Areum?" You asked her.

Tiffany groaned and shifted before she opened her eyes. "Wha?" She yawned and looked at you. "Oh. Youngie, you're here." She sat up and stretched her arms over her head. "Unnie, where's Areum?" You asked in a panicked voice. "She's sleeping." Tiffany looked down and saw no sleeping girl beside her.

".... She must have left when I was asleep." Tiffany quickly stood. "A-Ahm... Let me call Jessi and look for her." You didn't need to think twice before running out of the room and search for your daughter. "Yah! _____! Wait for me!" Tiffany rubbed her head in frustration before she went out to get Jessica.

Meanwhile, somewhere around the building, a short brunette was walking down the corridor while talking with her secretary. "I see. Just get everything settled when I'm done. If I see any mistakes, you're fired." The woman spoke sternly. "Nae." The staff nodded and hurriedly went off.

"Ms. Kim, you have a meeting in two hours. The group finally found someone who can handle the storage and technical branch." Her secretary informed her. "Make sure they can do their job." The woman responded curtly.

Kim Taeyeon was known as a mean and cold person. She didn't treat her employees nicely and everyone would often say that her temper was just as short as she was, that's why she was always so angry with them. But of course, once Taeyeon would hear that, they were done for.

"Where's my coffee? It's already been ten minutes." Taeyeon said irritably and looked at her secretary. "A-Ah. I'll check on it right away ma'am." The male bowed and scurried off before they heard a child's cries. "What is that?" Taeyeon asked and looked around the corridor.

"Umma!" The two then looked at the source and saw a little girl with a security guard trying to calm her down. "Shh! Stop crying and we'll look for your umma, arraseo?" The guard tried to convince the child. But it was no use as she kept crying her eyes out. "I want umma!" The little brunette wailed.

Taeyeon sighed. This guard wasn't doing a good job, so she decided to walk over. "Ah! Ms. Kim." She ignored her secretary and walked to the two figures. "What's going on here?" The guard looked up with a troubled and nervous expression. "Ms. Kim. I just saw this little girl. She's lost and we're not sure where she came from." He explained.

Taeyeon shook her head and dismissed the guard before she crouched down to look at the little girl's face. "Hey. Hey, kid, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" The short woman asked as she looked at the child's tear stricken face. But the toddler just kept crying.

Taeyeon scratched her neck before she picked her up and rocked her slightly back and forth. "Hey. Hey, look at me. What's wrong? Are you hurt?" She decided to use a more gentle approach.

She sighed in relief when the little girl slowly calmed down and looked up at her. "Now tell me, why are you crying?" Taeyeon tried asking again. "U-Umma..." Was all that came from the child's lips. "Who's your umma? Where is she?" The woman asked. "S-She got food a-and I went to the bathroom b-because aunty was asleep." Areum sniffed. "Hey. Stop crying." Taeyeon wiped her face.

"Areum!" The little girl turned her head and squirmed slightly. "Umma?" Taeyeon decided to put the little girl down. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she was already running toward the running woman.

Taeyeon was confused and watched the two interact with each other. Who was this woman? For sure she had never seen her.

"Are you okay? Where have you been? You should have stayed with your aunty. I told you before that you shouldn't go around on your own especially when you don't know the place." But despite your scolding, you kept looking at her for any injuries or damages. "Mianhe umma." You hug Areum tightly and her hair while she cried. "Shh. No more crying. Umma is here now." You said as you picked her up and rocked her from side to side.

Taeyeon could only watch from the side. She wasn't sure, but watching the two of you and how you treated Areum so lovingly made her heart melt. She took a few steps. But before she could speak, someone cut in.

"_____! There you are. Ms. Kim has been waiting for her coffee. Do you want to get fired?!" The secretary shouted frustratedly. "Oh. Mianhe!" You got up quickly and bowed to the man before picking up Areum. "Wait."

The two of you turned and you stopped on your tracks when you saw Taeyeon, your boss, standing behind you. You were scared because she had this unreadable expression on her face.

"Ms. Kim. Don't worry. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again and-" Taeyeon paid the man no heed and spoke. "You may go." The secretary blinked in confusion. "Mwo?" Taeyeon glared at him. "I said, you may go." Shivering, the man bowed and quickly left.

"Ms. Kim, mianhe. I didn't mean to make you wait for your coffee. I just...." You fidget on your place while Areum hugged your leg. "What's your name?" You look up in surprise. "U-Uh... Hwang _____. I've been working here for a year and a half now actually..." You mumbled the last part quietly.

Taeyeon was surprised. How come she never noticed you? Or maybe she just didn't pay attention to anything at all. Then, something, or someone, cut off her train of thought.

"Youngie! _____!" You look to the side and see both your cousin and Jessica running toward you. "Are you okay?" Jessica asked. "Have you found Areum?" Tiffany asked then saw the little girl before engulfing her in a tight hug. "I'm so sorry baby. I didn't meant to leave you like that."

You simply smiled as you watched your unnie apologizing to Areum and Jessica checking if you were both okay. But then, a cough brought you back to reality. "Fany? Sica? What are you doing here? And you know her?" Surprised, you turned to your boss and the two with a confused expression.

"Ah! Taengoo, she's my cousin." Tiffany said while rubbing her head. "Yeah. This is Youngie, the girl me and Fany were talking about before." Jessica told her. "Your cousin?" Taeyeon furrowed her brows. "Yeah. That's why we often come here, remember?" Tiffany grinned with her eyesmile. "Don't tell me you've been working too much to remember?" Jessica shook her head. "Yah! I don't work too much." Taeyeon retorted. "Right. Why don't you ask your employees."

You just quietly stare at the three in confusion. The way they spoke was as if you weren't there. "Umm... Unnie, I'll take Areum back to my desk." You mumbled while holding your daughter. "Oh! I almost forgot. Alright. I'll be with you real quick arraseo?" You nodded and flashed a smile, catching Taeyeon slightly off guard as you walk away.

Something about your sudden smile just made Taeyeon's heart stop. She also stopped thinking and just continued to stare at the direction you went off to. She wasn't even paying attention to her two friends.

"Yah! Kim Taeyeon are you even listening?!" Tiffany's loud voice suddenly snapped her out of her reverie. Jessica noticed the look on Taeyeon's face and a smirk suddenly appeared on her lips.

"I see. Looks like Taengoo just found interest in someone." The blonde grinned cheekily at her friend. "Mwo? What are you talking about?" Taeyeon's eyes widened when she got spotted. "Admit it Taeyeon. You like _____, don't you?" But it sounded more of a statement.

Tiffany though, simply had a blank expression on her face while she listened to her girlfriend. "Absolutely not." Taeyeon and Jessica seem surprised by the sudden words.

"Why not Fany? Taeyeon can take care of Youngie." Jessica furrowed her brows. "No, Sica. _____'s been hurt too much. I don't want to risk her or even Areum anymore." Tiffany told her girlfriend.

"Wait. What do you mean? What happened?" Taeyeon was curious and really wanted to find out. "I think this should be discussed in private." But Tiffany crosses her arms. "I'm not allowing this Sica." She stated. "Come on babe. Don't you trust Taeyeon?" Jessica sighed. "It's not that. You know what I mean."

Jessica and Taeyeon went to Taeyeon's office while Tiffany went to you and Areum, giggling when she saw you two playing together. "Hey. Can I play too?" The two of you looked up and you smiled. "Unnie. You're back."

"Aunty~" Areum ran to her arms and Tiffany hugged her as she lifted her up. "Hey little baby. How are you feeling?" Tiffany asked with an eyesmile then kissed her cheek.

"Yah! How come you never told me?" Taeyeon vigorously shook Jessica's shoulders while looking at her. "That's what I'm telling you now, aren't I?" The other made her stop shaking her and rubbed her temple.

"But still! I can't believe it. She looks so... So beautiful. And the shine in her eyes are just so..." Taeyeon couldn't help but sigh dreamily as she kept thinking of you.

"I know Tiff said she doesn't approve, but... I know that you can take care of her and Areum. So I'm telling you know, go get her." A smile quickly overcame the CEO's lips as she beamed. "Thanks Sica." With that, Taeyeon got up with the American-Korean and left the office to head to your place.

Once the pair arrived, Taeyeon couldn't help but smile when her eyes fell on you as you were letting Areum sleep and Tiffany played on your laptop. "Ehem." You looked up and gently put your daughter down. "Oh. Boss. Mianhe. I was just letting-" you were cut off when Taeyeon showed you a smile.

"Are you free later?" Both you and your cousin stopped and went wide eyed. "Mwo?!"

"P-Pardon?" You blinked rapidly while Taeyeon continues to smile brightly. "Are you free later? I want to take you out to dinner." She grinned. "O-Oh! Ummm..." You flushed bright red.

Tiffany had a frown though as she stood up and marched over to you before wrapping an arm around you. "Taeyeon." She gave a pointed look that your boss brushed off. "Pwease?" You blushed harder when she suddenly showed her aegyo and nod hesitantly.

"Assa! I'll pick you up later then." Tiffany was ignored throughout and Jessica just comforted her girlfriend.


Jessica offered to take care of Areum with Tiffany while you went out with Taeyeon. You were a bit thankful and agreed, thanking her as Taeyeon urged you to follow her. "I'll see you later unnies. Please make sure Areum sleeps well." You reminded while Jessica waved her hand since Tiffany was carrying your daughter. "Aish! You worry too much. We know what to do kiddo so don't sweat it." Jessica grinned and pushed you to your boss.

"Let's go?" You look at the brunette with a timid smile and nod. "A-Alright." Taeyeon let you in her car before she drove off to a restaurant. The ride was quiet. You weren't really comfortable and felt awkward. You were going on a date with your boss. It was just so... Unimaginable.

"So.... _____. I heard that you like music, is that right?" Taeyeon tried to open a conversation. "Oh. Umm, nae." You nodded. "What kinds?" She asked. "Uh... Any music is fine." You mumbled. You kept your eyes on your lap while Taeyeon watched you. A pout grew on her face when she knew she wasn't making any progress. But she kept trying as you reached the restaurant.

She got out of the car first and then opened the door for you. "Come on." She showed you a sweet smile and offered a hand. You blush at the attention you're receiving but take her hand quietly.

"Umm... Ms. Kim-" You got cut off. "Call me Taeyeon." Taeyeon showed you a grin as you both sat facing each other. "Or better yet, you can call me Taengoo." She quickly said.

"A-Ah... T-Taeyeon, why exactly... Did you want me to come with you?" You asked shyly. A smile was on her face when she at least got you to say her name.

"Like I said, I wanted to take you to dinner." She answered nonchalantly, the smile stayed on her face, as you noticed.

In the end, the date went well, you slowly started to warm up to the shorter woman and got to know each other better. To say, Taeyeon found herself completely drawn to you, especially after dropping you off.

"Thank you for tonight Taeyeon. I had a really wonderful time with you." You said in the most gentle and sweet tone Taeyeon ever heard. "Well, anything to make you-" she was cut off when she felt a soft pair of lips against her cheek. "Goodnight." She felt shivers run down her spine when she felt your warm breath against her ear. "Goodnight."

You gave her a smile and waved before heading inside your home, where your little angel was with your cousin and friend. "Assa!"

"This is good Tiffbaby. Taeyeon gets to be happy again, Youngie and Areum get to be safe and happy too. It's a win-win." Jessica grinned as she watched you and Taeyeon say goodbye to each other.

"I really don't know. I'm scared of-". "Of what might happen to your precious dongsaeng." Jessica sighed as she cut her girlfriend off. "Look, Fany-ah, _____ is old enough to do things like these. I know there will be hardships, but she'll learn from them. And if anything bad happens, we'll be there for her, won't we?" Your cousin looked at her girlfriend with uncertain eyes and sighed after Jessica pecked her lips. "I'm still not sure. What if Jackson... Oh, my god." Tiffany's eyes widened.

"I completely forgot about Jackson. He'll be furious for sure. What if he beats up ____?!" Tiffany began to panic and Jessica grabbed her hands. "He won't do that, okay? I will not let anyone lay a finger on her." Jessica stated firmly while looking straight into her lover's eyes.

Tiffany breathed heavily before slowly nodding. "Okay..." She whispered just in time as the door opened. "I'm back." Your quiet voice greeted their ears.

"Unnies, why are you still awake? It's getting late already and you have work tomorrow." You approached them after shutting the door behind you. "Is Areum asleep?" You ask and they smile at you. "She fell asleep about an hour ago. She was waiting for you, but we told her you would be late." Tiffany explained and you nodded. "I see. Thank you so much unnies. But it's getting late. You can stay over. Your things are still in your room and everything is clean." You told them while holding back a yawn.

"Arraseo. Goodnight Youngie." They kissed your cheeks as you hug them tightly. "Sweet dreams." But before you could leave, Tiffany caught your wrist and had a pout on her face. "Unnie? Waeyo?" You blinked while Jessica held in her laugh when she realized what her girlfriend was doing.

"I don't get a goodnight kiss?" You stared at her with big eyes before tilting your head. "Unnie. I thought you didn't want anymore since... ahm..." You cougher when you remembered Jessica was there and Tiffany's pout grew while Jessica seemed curious about your statement.

"Since what? Did something happen?" She raised a brow. "Nothing Sica unnie. I'll head to bed now." But Tiffany refused to let go and hugged your arm. "Ani~ bpo bpo first." She whined childishly.

"I'm curious. What were you talking about earlier?" Just then, you found yourself having no choice than to tell Jessica or kiss Tiffany.

"Ummm... Fany unnie told me to stop kissing her before because she said you might get mad... Or something like that." You mumbled out the last part thoughtfully while Jessica had this amused yet confused expression and Tiffany puffed her cheeks. "Yah! You promised not to tell!"

"Why would I get mad? I actually found it adorable when I saw you two before." Jessica said confusedly. "I don't know. She just told me." You puffed your cheeks out.

"Just give me bpo bpo and I'll let you sleep." Tiffany tried yet again. You sighed and ruffle your hair. "Fine..." You gave her a peck on the cheek before she finally freed you with an eyesmile. "Goodnight~"

"What about me?" Maybe you should have just went straight to bed.


A few weeks passed by and Taeyeon kept asking you out. Of course, being polite, you accepted and Areum came a few times. Your daughter grew fond of the baby faced woman because Taeyeon always treated her like her own daughter.

And to be honest, you were getting scared. Not because of Areum always hanging around your boss. You were afraid to fall for her. You've fallen in love already, so you were afraid of what might happen if that repeated.

"Youngie? Are you listening to me?" You were snapped out of your thoughts when someone shook your shoulder. "Hey. Is everything alright?" Taeyeon has been staying at your house quite a few times and would also stay over.

Today was one of those days. "You've been spacing out lately. I know Sica's the one that always does that." Taeyeon said and looked worriedly at you.

You show her a small smile and shake your head. "Ani. I was just thinking about something." You explained while rubbing your neck. "What about? Is it your ex boyfriend?" You haven't actually told you the whole things that's happened between you and Jackson. She doesn't even know him. All she knows is, he broke it off after you found out you were pregnant. It was actually cute when she threw a mini tantrum that day, but you just smiled at her and reassured that it was okay and it was all in the past.

"I don't-" just as you were about to speak, she cut you off. "Listen, _____. I have to tell you something really important, okay?" You just nod and keep your mouth shut.

She smiles and takes in a deep breath. "I know what I'll be saying for the next few minutes may sound odd to you, but I wanted to tell you this the day I met you." She started and her dry lips. "I find you amazing. Your looks, your personality, everything. The way you handle work and being a single mother amazes me every time I see you and Areum. Seeing you smile and hearing your laugh just makes my heart go crazy." Hold on. This sounded way too familiar for your liking.

"I wanted to tell you this from the start, but I knew I had to work hard to get to you...." Taeyeon looked at you as she held your hands and took in a deep breath. "What I'm saying is... I love you Hwang _____. Will you be my girlfriend?"

You froze. Your eyes went wide and you didn't move an inch. You knew she was confessing as soon as she started earlier, but you didn't expect her to say all those things. Tears started building up in yours as you looked at her.

Seeing this, Taeyeon panics and quickly cups your face. "Y-Youngie! Mianhe. I didn't mean to make you cry." She quickly hugged you and pulled you against her chest as you quietly sobbed.

She was scared. She didn't know if this was good or bad. But all she knew was that Tiffany and Jessica were going to kill her for sure if they found out you cried. She just hoped tat they don't suddenly barge in and that Areum is asleep. But her face paled slightly when the door opened.

Hold on. Since when did Tiffany just barge in? Taeyeon looked up and saw an unfamiliar person.

"Hey ! Where's my money?" You quickly sit up and wipe your eyes when you hear Jackson's voice then look up at him. "I-I don't have it." You weakly answered, making him annoyed as he approached you.

"I thought I told you I needed that money?" He growled. "You're a aren't you? Why don't you use your body like how you always do?" He spat.

Taeyeon was stunned. But she was quick to recover and anger filled her when she saw how Jackson treated you. "You never learn, don't you?" He was about to grab you, but Taeyeon caught his wrist in time.

"Who the are you?" Jackson then turned to her with a scowl. "I should ask you that. Who do you think you are, barging in someone's house without permission and hitting a girl? Do you know I could sue you for this?" She glared at him.

Jackson gives her a look before laughing as if to mock her. "So what if I do? I have every right to do what I want with her and that bastard child." He wasn't expecting a slap on the face. And it stung like a . "Why you-"

"Get out now. Unless you want me to call the police and a lawyer. I can make your life miserable with a snap of a finger." She threatened in a deadly tone. "Oh yeah? How so? Are you some big shot or something?" He mocked. "Kim Taeyeon. Owner and CEO of almost half the corporations in Korea."

Jackson's face paled and nodded his head before stumbling out the door. "If I find out you come near _____ or Areum ever again, kiss your goodbye." She adder and shut the door.

You were silent the whole time, just watching the two arguing in front of you. You were scared, but you didn't know who you were scared for. Jackson scared you because of wat he had done, so you thought he could hurt Taeyeon. But you knew Taeyeon could do wat she wanted with Jackson. In the end, you sighed in relief and held your head.

"Gwenchana?" You look up to meet Taeyeon's worried gaze and smile softly as you nod. "Nae. Gwenchana." She smiled back and cupped your face.

"I love you too." Taeyeon's eyes widened and she stared at you as if you had grown a second head. "W-What?" You giggle and peck her cheek. "Nado saranghae Taeyeon."


Bonus ending
"I'm home~!" The brunette announced as she closed the door and entered her home. "Umma!" She was greeted by a little girl running toward her and hugged her waist. "Hey there kiddo. I brought home sweets for you." The brunette chuckle as she picked up the little girl and saw her eyes spark. "Jinja? Yay!"

The little girl hugged her mother. "Oh. Aunties are here too." She giggled. "Where are they?" The woman asked as they went further in the house. "They're with mama." The child chirped. "Arraseo. Let's go."

The two then entered the living room and saw three more girls. "Hey TaeTae. How was work?" Tiffany greeted with an eyesmile. "It was alright. Though I want to stay home." Taeyeon chuckled as she put her daughter down.

"Then take a break. You've been working way too hard just to impress someone." Jessica laughed from beside Tiffany. "Laugh it up Jung. I don't need to impress wen I've already got her." Taeyeon stuck her tongue out then sat on the couch next to the other girl.
