“Yoochun ah, wake up, it’s time for school,” sleepy merman boy rubbed his eyes slowly as he sat on his bed. It took him few seconds to get up and walked to the bathroom yawning. He hated morning, he hated to be woken up, and he hated how school started on morning from now on. The only thing that made he moved was the thought of his friends and his cute shining nymph boy.

Grinning as he washed up, Yoochun couldn’t help but to remember the public kiss they shared at their last school event. He didn’t even realize he was pouting in the shower. His mother’s voice brought him back to reality. Yoochun took his breakfast and got ready to leave for school.

Today he wouldn’t need his camouflage; none of them needed to use it. They had their school at night the first three months to adjust themselves with the new environment. Starting from today, they would go to school like normal human. They would really try to blend in human societies for real now.

“Morning, Chunnie!”

Yoochun almost jumped when he heard the voice he loved so much. He smiled and pulled the nymph boy into a tight morning hug. Junsu giggled happily as they walked side by side. Yoochun thought the morning just couldn’t get any better.

“Hi, you’re a merman, right?” suddenly an unknown girl in their school uniform asked. Yoochun stopped walking and so did Junsu, the merman boy gave light nods.

“Yey, I’m right. I’m looking for a merman partner for our school trip. Can I be your partner?” the girl asked sweetly, Yoochun didn’t know how to act to that. He didn’t like it but he didn’t want to make the girl sad too.

“Umm,school trip? Partner?” Junsu frowned uncomfortably at the lovely stare the girl gave to Yoochun. He somehow felt uneasiness on his chest, he didn’t know why.

“You don’t know?” the girl raised her eyebrows,” It was posted on the school board yesterday. We’ll go to the beach for school trip next week and we have to pick a partner in any class we want. Well, since it’s a beach and I’m a siren, I’m thinking to pick a merman as my partner so we can ace all the games and fun stuff we will do there. It’s perfect, isn’t?”

Junsu loved the explanation involving school trip even the beach, but he felt sour when he heard how Yoochun would be perfect with her; a merman and a siren, what a perfect match. The uneasiness on his chest doubled. Yoochun noticed how Junsu reacted as he decided to take action.

“I’m sorry but I already have a partner,” Yoochun spoke as the girl and Junsu looked surprised,” See this cute nymph? He’s the only one who will be my partner.”

Junsu’s uneasiness immediately went away. Yoochun’s words melted his heart in the ways he could never imagine. He felt suddenly so happy. Junsu could only smile happily to Yoochun until the girl eventually excused herself.

“Chunnie~~~” Junsu hugged Yoochun tightly as he kissed Yoochun on the cheek. The merman boy blushed slightly; he had learnt to take more control of his red cheeks.

“Come on, we need to tell the other about the trip,” Yoochun spoke as he took Junsu’s hand and both of them rushed to the school gate. Their steps felt so light and for once, they thought they’re flying like Yunho or Kyuhyun.

“Suie! Chunnie!” Jaejoong’s excited face was the one greeted them when they got into the class.

“What’s wrong, hyung?” Junsu asked curiously.

“We’re going to go to a beach for our school trip next week!” Yunho explained everything, including how they had partnered themselves. Yoochun and Junsu already knew but they tried their best to look happy and excited like the rest of their group. Well, one of them was pouting though.

“What’s wrong with Minnie?” Yoochun asked.

“He’s sulking,” Kyuhyun grinned.

“I’m not,” Changmin defended,” I’m counting of how many blood bag I need to bring and whether I need to use a small container to bring it.”

“I can bring them for you,” Kyuhyun offered as he winked,” I can ice them with my power and Yunho hyung can heat it once you want to drink it. So no container needed, I’m your personal container.”

“I’m beginning to like the idea you’re haunting me for eternity,” the vampire commented.

“You like me even before I haunt you,” Kyuhyun let out his tongue. The vampire gave another witty remark and both of them were having their usual witty debate. The rest decided they would left them to their so-called-love-debate,

“Yunnie,” Jaejoong sat on his seat as he put his head on Yunho’s shoulder,” Which color should I wear?”

“What colour?” Yunho asked.

“I have red, blue, and green one. But my favorite is the green one because it resembles my favorite Japanese frog character,” Jaejoong explained as he realized Yunho still didn’t get what he meant,” I’m talking about my swimsuit.”

Yunho felt he almost fainted again, blame his hyperactive imagination of his Joongie in swimsuit. Taking a deep breath, Yunho could only mutter he would be happy to see Jaejoong on his favorite one. So Jaejoong decided on the green one. Yunho had seen Jaejoong on the red and blue one in their swimming class after all.

“I will wear my dolphin swimsuit!” Junsu joined the discussion as Yoochun did too.

“I’m okay to swim without anything because I can use my merman tail, but since we’re blending in…I’ll use my usual swimsuit,” Yoochun said flatly as the nymph boy blushed madly. Yoochun had no idea what part of the things he said would make Junsu like that. Not that he minded, he loved seeing Junsu blush because of him.

“I’m gonna wear my vampire swimming suit!” Kyuhyun suddenly spoke up.

“Is that supposed to offend me?” Changmin raised his eyebrows as he drank his first blood bag for the day. The class hadn’t even started and the teacher was somehow kind of late today. Our vampire boy was really such gluttony.

“I meant I’m going to wear anything you wear,” Kyuhyun winked,” You’re ‘my vampire’ after all.”

“So if I swim -, you will do too?” Changmin asked curiously.

“Of course, partner never back off from their other half,” Kyuhyun answered confidently.

Jaejoong couldn’t help but to feel a bit jealous of how Changmin and Kyuhyun could almost talk about anything. It was like they knew no boundaries. He was having these nervous feelings every time he talked to Yunho and it bothered him sometime, in a good way though.

“So, since we’ve decided on our swimsuit, should we discuss about other group things we want to bring?” Yunho asked as the rest of them agreed.

“I’m bringing tons of snacks of course,” Changmin said,” I will share it but don’t hope much, food is literally mine after all.”

“I’ll help Changmin with the snack and make sure we all get our shares,” Kyuhyun spoke.

“I’m taking my card so we can play together,” Yunho announced.

“I think I’ll bring my camera,” Jaejoong decided,” So we can take a lot of pictures.”

“I’m bringing my PSP!” Junsu said as Changmin couldn’t believe what he heard. He didn’t have any idea he had a gaming buddy right next to him. For that silent reason, the vampire boy shook the nymph boy’s hand. He could feel weird stares from the merman boy but Changmin had gotten used to it.

“I’ll bring my big dolphin plushy so all of us can sleep together once we get tired,” Yoochun finally said.

All of them were so excited about the school trip. They would discuss their plan more in detail on the break. The teacher had come inside the class and they would soon begin their lessons. Well, most of the time their mind went off to the trip, they just couldn’t wait to get started.
